Thank you for watching how I finessed this full sew in with braids on my fine hair/thin edges. This is a great protective style, vacation style or just worry free style to give your leave out break from heat or blending.

This hair is from my favorite hair company- INDIQUE HAIR. It’s absolutely GORGEOUS!

7 minutes 47 minutes. 47 minutes. I can't even believe that took 47 minutes and i'm taking it out - hey i'm shaka starks and welcome to my channel in this video. I'M doing this little. You know cute little new style that i wanted to try with the cornrows. In the front, bundles in the back, i've been seeing this all over instagram all over pinterest all over everywhere. Basically, you know the girls is given with this style, so i wanted to try it um. You know i have thin edges, so i figured i would keep the braids at the top, where my hair is a little. My hairline is a little thicker and just do you know a sew-in in the back and on the sides, and that worked i'm using my favorite bundles guys. I love this hair. It'S from indie care, i'm using their pure line, their wavy texture in 20 inches, and i used a little under three bundles for this style. So i'm just going ahead and parting. Where i want my braids, i did want my braids to not go as far back. So i stopped it like right before i got to the middle, because i wanted most of my hair to be sewn up and i went basically, i wanted the style to be mostly bundles and just have my leave out braided. I was doing this because i went on vacation with my husband and i did not. Okay want to worry about styling, my hair, about my leave out blending about worrying about a closure or any nonsense. I really just wanted to be able to wake up and go be able to get in the ocean get in the water whatever. So this is why i decided to do this style. I left out a very small amount of leave out you'll see in a second right here. These braids was getting on my nerves, girls like they were killing me um, so i started out with doing a triangle part. Then i wanted to do some feeding braids and they just were not the parts weren't crispy it just wasn't. I don't know i just kept doing it over and over and over, and so i finally got it right and then i just decided you know what whatever like just, keep it simple and do four braids going straight back. So that is what i did. This is when i'm kind of like just getting over it. I even contemplated not even doing the style, because that first braid was just taking forever. So here i am, i got it together, i'm using some jam and some eco styler gel and some synthetic braiding hair and i'm just bringing those braids straight back sliver of leave out. I really hope it's enough to cover, because the whole point of this was not to have a lot of leave out, but i don't even know i don't know. I don't know. I don't know where i'm going with this right now, but i'm gon na just trust. It i really hope this comes out good. That'S all the leave out, it's all of it. It'S all of it. We'Re gon na just pray that it blends, because baby these braids was a struggle for me seriously all right. So now i'm just gon na try to do my regular sew in pattern. I'M gon na do a braid around a perimeter braid and then just some regular smegular straight back braids, i'm so tired of braiding, because that was such a freaking struggle. So i'm a little discouraged because it's i don't know what it's gon na give. So i'm just gon na go ahead and do my regular braid pattern for the rest of my hair i'll be back after my hair is braided up, i'm going to do a net dome cap situation again a mesh i'm going to do a mesh dome cap. So i'll be back, look like that, so i'm just sewing straight across going back and forth. Nothing special here, i'm gon na sew in this whole first bundle until i need to go up to the front. Um also shout out to y'all baddies for commenting and leaving me like good ass advice. I appreciate that one of you baddies, um. Let me know that i didn't need to necessarily sew down the dome cap before i still in the tracks, because it's obviously going to be secure because it's sewed in so that's an extra sket step that i skipped this time so shout out to y'all. Thank you for leaving me comments. Please continue to drop your tips and gems because they help all of us here. You can see. I brought the end of that bundle all the way up to the top of this braid. This is going to help this hair fall towards my face and cover my edges so that i'm not exposed you know, because that's not this style is already tricky, so we finessing it so make sure that when you um when you're laying your tracks in the front, You want to bring it all the way up and you want it to fall towards your face black dead. So on this side i went all the way up again, and this is the only part that i am cutting, because i need this to be super super flat right here. So again, i'm bringing it all the way up to that top braid. That goes around my cornrows just watch it's kind of hard to explain, but i pretty much use this technique in all of my sew-in videos. So it's the same thing. I just cut the track right there and bring it to the very, very top look like that. I am starting this next track, um right above where that one was so again, it's still going towards my face and kind of like a u-shaped. Is that or triangle shape yeah, i'm not sure how to describe this, but it's not going straight back. It is going down my hairline and around my head to the back um. So i do this all the way around and the track is doubled again, and i think i do fold it right here. Um yep, i'm gon na fold. It i'm gon na bring it all the way up. You see how just lay it over my lay it over my whole head lay it over my face, so i can make sure okay that hair is gon na lay like i need it too. Look like that. Look like that excuse that pimple on my cheek y'all, i was having some type of breakout on my face. It wasn't cute. I was it probably the stress from this freaking style but yeah. I should have said that in the beginning, i'm watching this back and i'm like. Oh, i wish i wasn't there, but it's there. It'S reality. So just act like you don't see it dead black dead, then black dead. I am almost down to my last braid. I'M just now i'm just going across, and this is more of a v-shape there we go. This is more of a u-shape, i'm just gon na fill it in until i get to the top braid, then i'm gon na, let that little tiny sliver of leave out um, i'm gon na. Let it out and just blend it but y'all. This hair is really what made this style, because my braids were not it, but this hair was so pretty that it just looked cute like it just looked effortless, even though you can see your girl was putting effort. If you can braid. This will be so easy for you um. If you don't braid, i would suggest maybe doing like the rubber band styles at the top, where you do small um ponytails and you connect the rubber bands and maybe like braid the ends so that your hair is not out. There are so many alternatives, um girls with thin edges like let's not shy away from styling our hair, like we can still be fly. Okay, like we just got ta, do a little finesse and that's what i'm here for, because i'm gon na be cute and you won't be cute so enjoy this. Thank you guys for watching be sure to comment below and let me know what you think. Would you try this without really trying it? I know i was, but you know i did. I mean to do what i needed to do: hey, hey like that black dead last track y'all. This track right here got to be right. Okay, so i want to make sure that it's super super flat. I lay the track over the braid like all the way up to the part, and i'm sewing all the way around the braid, so i don't want to lay it on top of the braid. I bring that track over the braid almost like if i'm gon na glue it there um and i'm just making sure that i sew all the way around that braid. So it's really flat and really close to that part. So i don't have a gap because, as you can see, i have like so little leave out. I need it to be super close so that you don't see any of my scalp. So that is a little trick that i do is i lay the braid. I'M sorry i laid the track over the braid, not on not like on top just watch. You can see what i'm doing black dead. Oh then, and mission accomplish right. These words were a struggle. The sew-in was the easiest part for me honestly. I did not know these braids were going to be such a struggle. They were all good, i'm just laying down my edges. I ended up braiding the cornrow, the ends of cornrows and dipping it in some water to make it wavy um. It was okay. I don't know i didn't really like my cornrows, honestly y'all, so i'm trying to make it work. I put some mousse on it and then i'm gon na put my scarf on to just lay it down and set everything into place black dead. Just enough leave out to cover the tracks and so that if it gets wet, you know it's not going to be too too much of a difference. I don't i don't have to worry about blending too much. This is how it came out. Y'All, it's cute. If you can braid do this style, if you can't finesse it, you know, i probably could have added some of those like little jewels to make it look better. I'M trying to see if i like it the cornrows, i just didn't like the cornrows y'all. So i did end up switching it up and doing like six box braids at the top. Let me show you, this is how it was. This is how i end up changing it. I just did some knotless box braids at the top, and this style was cute. It works for my vacay, so thank you guys so so much for watching be sure to like comment and subscribe and check out some of my other videos right here see you next time.
