Put the camera on me: do I look a hot mess or just a mess? Hey guys. Miu is Ruby. Welcome back to my channel. I just wanted to make this quick video to tell you guys how to determine how much leave out to leave on your client. Okay, so this is just kind of like a rule of thumb, a quick tip, something that I just be doing myself right a lot of times. You look, you see a thick head of hair and you think like. Oh, I don't really have to leave that much hair out or maybe you see thin hair and you think that you have to leave a whole bunch out, but the easiest way to determine is take a comb that is of color. I have an orange one right now: stick it underneath the hair. You see how you can still see the color of that comb right now. That means that, even though her hair looks like it's thick, what it probably is is just so coarse and so naturally curly and kinky that it's giving the appearance of fullness. But once I straighten this hair out, there aren't a whole lot of strands. Taking up this space, which means if I don't leave enough hair out you're gon na, be able to see her tracks underneath so continue to stick that comb until you can no longer see the color, and at that point you know you probably or your dear on The safe side of knowing this is about how much hair that I need to leave out, and this is just one side we're doing a middle part weave. So I know that I could cover it confidently and you're, not gon na see her tracks, but keep in mind that if you do this - and you can see that is not enough, even if the clients hair is dark and the weave you're putting in is dark. It'S still not enough, because if that wind blows honey is gon na, be a nightmare, so yeah I'm gon na share with you guys god bless you have a great day. Let me know you, you

Sunshine0387: Thank you Ms. Ruby. That happened to me when I got my last sew in.

Stephanie Guilmenot: We need more how not to have your weave embarrass you. Thank you very much! How can we keep the natural and weave hair the same texture longer? Maybe kinky weave? One bath and even covered my weave was showing because my natural hair reverted.

Mary J Flanagan: Wow, and the flatness was on point. People often leave, visible, lumpy tracks and act blind. Lol.
