Hey, ladies, this is Sydney from sitting pretty here, reinforcing the fundamentals of Hair Care in today's video I'm going to be sharing with you all the rinse that I use on my hair and that I recommend for my clients, as well as those who are in growing Team, my 40 Day, hair growth challenge. If this is your first time visiting the channel, welcome my name is Sydney, I'm a hair restoration specialist and I teach women with textured hair how to utilize heat, styling and refine protective styling methods in order to maximize their length retention. So I like to use hair rinses for several things. What you're seeing in this video is my natural hair color. Naturally, my hair is pretty dark and that's something I'm grateful for, but you know we have different highlights throughout our hair for mine around my hairline. I have lighter streaks and you know. Sometimes I want to go even darker than what my natural hair looks like, so the rinses come in very well when I just want to add a bit of a boost to my hair, a little bit of polishing. I also really like to incorporate rinses when it comes to extensions, and I talk more about that in my video - how to grow your hair, while still using leave out sew-ins or extensions. I talk more about that. I enjoy rinses because they allow you to scratch that itch of needing an extra needing to add an extra into your hair without having to do something that is very damaging so before we go ahead and continue with this video make sure that if you haven't already, You click the link in the description box and you get the free version of my five keys for success in your healthy hair Journey guide in the guide. A lot of you have booked the top stylist, you pay for the most expensive products and you still are finding yourself making any progress in your hair Journey. Believe it or not, it all, starts in the mind your outlook on your own hair, your approach to Hair Care in general and various other things play a big role in determining how successful you will be in this journey so again make sure you get that link If you're, looking for a simple, yet effective, foolproof Master resume, regimen click the link in the description box to learn more about growing teen but 40 Day. Hair growth challenge, slash Master regimen. Where I teach you all everything you need to know to never have a bad hair day again. So, as I've stated, I really enjoy using rinses when it comes to extensions. I also enjoy using it on my natural hair just to give me that extra fun. I feel like my hair could use it. Okay, it helps bring my look together. More seamlessly, I'm not a regular rinser I'll, probably use them a few times a year, but I don't regularly maintain the color, which I probably will be you know in the future. It'S just about whether or not I have it on hand and if I feel like putting it in what I like about this particular brand, is they have a gray coverage version and they have just a regular version. I pretty much use the gray coverage version, even though you know it's not specific to my situation um, but I also have witnessing used on gray hair and it does a pretty good job at adding some sort of color to Grays. I have one client who she has a burgundy kind of brown version of this rinse and it makes it look like she has burgundy highlights. So if you're, someone who is salt and pepper - and you want to add something - but you don't necessarily want to go full gray - that is an alternative um. Something to keep in mind, though, is that this will stain your hair for the long term. So it's not like you're gon na put this in and then, if you decide to transition to Salt and Pepper it's gon na just rinse out, you know you'll actually have to somewhat grow this color out. But it's very it's pretty gentle on the hair um. I do find that it is drying to a degree, so that's something to be mindful of and it can itch, but you want to make sure that you're rinsing it out properly. So in this video you can see me applying it. This is uh actually around. You know early pandemic time, so my hair was a lot longer. My hair was a lot more full back in these days. It will still relaxed. However, you know I would use about a bottle or a bottle and a half to achieve this color um. It'S always better to have too much than too little right um. The color that I am using, I believe, is the ash black. How I typically apply this color is, I will add it to my hair after I am done, shampooing and also after I am done deep conditioning as well. So I put this on my hair as the final step and then I rinse it out. I find that that works for me that helps the color last um. I also do sit under the dryer with the color for about you know: 20 minutes with heat. I also um put on the processing cap as well, so you can consider trying it out that way. If you have another way that you feel like works best, you can do that as well, but that is what I find works for me. Of course you see me using gloves, because I do not want it all over my hair, because it will I mean over my hands because it will stain those hands if you are feeling like you're, not completely happy with where your hair is. Maybe it's not shiny enough, you know, maybe it's not really where you want it to be, and you need something to help you cope. You can consider putting a rinse in it may just be what you need. You be shocked. What a cut and some color could do for you so definitely consider adding a rinse to your regimen. You always want to do with a patch test, according to the instructions on the bottle to make sure that you are not allergic, because that does happen. We have seen it happen, so that's something to be mindful of, and you also want to consider your long-term hair and color goals prior to taking a step like this, because you know this is a semi-permanent. I mean this is a yes. This is a semi-permanent. It'S not going to last forever um, but you know you want to anytime you're making hair decisions. You all think for the long term, think in the the grand scheme of things um. Another reason I like these rinses is, if you're somebody who suppose you're growing out some hair, color uh, maybe blonde or something and you maybe you know if you go back on my page, I had a girl here who was she was blonde and then I guess At home she tried to put a black color over and, of course, it turned it green. She ended up doing some sort of like burgundy rinse and it made her hair. Look a lot better because it neutralized that green hair and it made it easier for her to grow it out. So you know, there's a there's several reasons why you'd want to add a rinse to your regimen. It all comes down to preference. I'M simply here to say is try this out. If you are upset with your hair, you want something new and maybe you're, considering something extreme starting with something like this may just be what you need to elevate your image. Okay. So, ladies, let me know what you think about this video in the comment section below you: can click the link in my description box purchase this color for yourself and um.
