What'S up y'all and welcome back to my channel back in with another video? Thank you so much for tuning in to this channel, where you just never know what you're gon na get poop period, because you know the AJC is the place to be actually Janae crew. You know what to do like comment share and subscribe, because you know you really want to be a part of the tribe period. Listen, look at my hair. Excuse me, but we about to do a whole live transformation and I know you've seen the title with this. Video - and I know you looking like what wait wait, wait. What what's this you about to do what? Yes, she is yeah. So let me explain right, quick, so, firstly, this hairstyle that I got in right now, oh my God. I have loved it so much. I stretched some Marley hair and even with it, looking tacky and Raggedy like this, all I have to do is take my um uh brush my hot brush and it will look fresh brand new, but I don't want to do that. I'M ready to uh relax my hair cause, God is good and because I can, but anyway y'all. Let'S talk about the natural movement. Okay, I have learned so much about my natural coil and curl since being a natural girl. Okay, I've been natural for like five years. I literally lost count at the five okay. I I cut my hair first in 2016 and then I cut it again in 2018. I did like a big chop twice. Then. I finally started letting it grow out a little bit, but then I kept putting in like faux Locs and stuff, and I would accidentally cut my hair like this piece right here. You see that yeah, my hair is actually this long in the front, and I cut it here by accident yeah, so uh yeah, it's just I don't know. I was taking out my faux Locs one day, which is a protective style and I accidentally messed around and shaft it off. It was totally an accident, but it is what it is um. I do know that trying to have these open leave outs and things like that. My hair texture, even though I love this and it really Blended well once like I just came from the gym so once I come from the gym, everything is matted. Looking you know everything I have to do a lot. It'S just a lot of Maintenance. Mind you. This hair is still good. I know it looks crazy, but I promise you when I put my hot brush to it, it gets bone straight. I can do um. What do you call it uh flexi rods to it, it's bomb y'all, I'm telling you if you have not tried to stretch Marley hair, do it and you have natural hair, do it, but anyway, back to this natural movement before the natural movement, I was getting relaxers In my hair, since I was like in elementary school yeah - and I just remember that whole process I mean it was a time my time was had you know what I'm saying back then, but we didn't know much about our hair, then we didn't appreciate our hair. Then we weren't even talked to because we didn't know any better, because other people will always make it seem like our hair was just not good enough or was a professional or classy literally just the way it grows out of our head. You know so we never knew to appreciate it. The natural movement got me to appreciate my coil appreciate how thick it felt at the rule, like it literally felt like carpet up there, and I was proud about it. You know what I'm saying. I love that I love the sizzle when you went every one out of once in a blue one. I will flat iron it because I knew it would go like you know, puffy the next day or whatever. So I only do that once in a blue moon, but still my little sister is 19 years old. She'S never had a relaxer. Her hair is beautiful um. Even when she went through like a breakage period and everything it grew back so beautifully. She does these um she's Eco style gel, and does these beautiful styles, you know what I mean I always be like girl, that's on you, you better go off! Curly girl, like you know what I'm saying like it's always like. I love the natural look. If I have a daughter one day, if God ever blesses me with a daughter, I will not be relaxing her hair yeah, I'm gon na. Let her get old enough to make that decision and hopefully, by the time, she's old enough. She wouldn't want to because her hair would have been trained since she was a little girl. Unfortunately, I didn't have that luxury. You know my hair wasn't trained. Since I was a little girl. It was always a mess because my mother just slapped her relaxing and put a ponytail on and the bow was kind of hanging off. She didn't care. You know what I'm saying: Cricket parts and everything We're not gon na talk about it. So anyway, I am now deciding at this moment. I did not want to relax my hair, because I said you know what I'm a part of this movement. I'M a part of this natural movement. I don't want to be less black because I relax my hair but baby. I ain't less black cause. A black woman created the relaxer first of all, and I'm not telling you that, for you can go and get a relaxer okay, I'm just saying that because I don't want you to let anybody make you feel bad for choosing to do something that may be less Maintenance for you, everybody cannot afford to take a listen, the way that our hair grows out of our hair. It'S really luxurious. It'S luxurious to the point where we got ta spend thousands of dollars. You know what I'm saying a month on our hair. Okay, we got ta, we got ta, do it's not just a wash, you know we don't just wash and go like you know what I mean it's a lot more in between there's steps. You know what I'm saying it's that luxurious. So trust me when I say I absolutely love love my natural texture. I really do because of the fact that I'm heading into a different stage in my life, in which I need as less maintenance as possible, I'm still trying to lose another 20 to 30 pounds. I'M really trying to focus on getting new covers and new music out there and everything like that. I'M doing so much work behind the scenes. I don't necessarily have time to tend to my hair, as often as I would like this particular method, this Marley hair method, my gosh, if I did have the time, I would do this all the time, because I'm telling you it is. It looks like my hair, but I have to constantly you know what I'm saying make I have to constantly blend it. I have to do a lot. I have to manipulate it in order to get it to look right, and I have to do that every day. I don't really have time for that right now, so long story short baby girl, whatever you want to do to your hair baby boy, whatever you want to do to your hair, do it you know what I'm saying do it? It'S not gon na make you any less black baby. You still celebrating the people, because, at the end of the day a black woman made that yeah look in the black history, textbooks that tell you a little something about it. Yeah some people just need simple. You know what I'm saying and not only that, but I'm not even going to say that I'm going to give myself another relaxer. I don't know I could after this I could not. You know, after five plus years of not having a relaxer to go into a relaxer. I don't know if I'm going to be convinced. I know that right now, I'm going to put a relaxer in my hair and I'm gon na I'm going to love the fact that I'm doing that, I'm not gon na regret it, because it's a it's addition that I've thought about for a while. I watched all the YouTube videos and all the girls is using olive oil. Now olive oil was never my jam. I was always into dark and lovely, but because of the girl, the fact that the girls are coming off of you know uh 4C, natural five plus years to this, I'm like all right. I think I'ma trust YouTube on this one and we're gon na see. So here we go I'm about to do this, y'all yeah, so um, if you had to support me, stay for the video. If you not goodbye, oh and I want me some Dream, Weaver girl - I have not bought pack hair and I don't know how long just in case I don't because I don't know how my hair is going to turn out afterwards. My hair might be extra short afterwards, I don't know, what's going to happen, it might break off and I might go bald headed. I might need to do a little quick weave a little toupee. I don't know what I'm gon na have to do after this. I'M frightened, so I just bought some stuff just in case you know what I'm scared last day natural. I cannot believe it okay, anyway, all right. So I'm about to cut this out of my hair um, I'm about to cut this out. Oh my God. I have not seen my hair straight in so long okay, so let me cut this nah Scary Spice with somebody. Oh no, I'm about to get here all over the place. Okay, that's cool! Let me try to get my leave out of the way, I'm so we're gon na. Do this y'all y'all the point of me telling y'all that is, I just don't want y'all to. Let anybody make you feel bad for doing something you want to do. Nobody ever knows what you're going through they just so it's just so easy to judge. You know nobody cares about empathy. What somebody else might feel about something we've said or something that we've not said. You know people just don't care, it's. Okay. I care who you do what you want to do with your hair. If you want to shave it off and then wear a wig tomorrow, do it that's your damn hair. It'S just hair and I don't think I said in the Bible. We can't cut it, relax it so all right, y'all I'll see y'all later I got ta. Take this crap out. Y'All truth be told. I'M really tired of explaining myself. I feel like we really don't owe anybody any explanation. The black woman is so versatile. We literally can do anything we can do anything. Why should I explain or what explanation would even matter other than the fact that, because I can, because I'm a black woman, because I can, what more do you want from me? Okay, almost done taking out the braids um. This is really happening y'all. This is my last day as a natural girl for a while, because I don't know if it's going to be permanent or not. You know, I may be the type of person that you know. Don'T like it go back natural the thing about it is: I had I'm ready to cut my hair off. I'Ve been ready for a while, just because I've been in this mode of just busy and trying to get my career off the ground again and everything and the thing about it is. I promised myself that I wouldn't cut my hair in my 30s and that has been a hard promise to live by because I have been wanting to chop my hair for a minute, so I said well, I got to do something I got ta color it. I got ta do something it's I miss wearing my hair out and I don't have the time that I need to to tend to uh. You know wearing it out natural, so I I don't know I need to do something. I need to do something. Oh girl phone look like Tina Turner, yeah, I'm about to go um. We about to get this done all right, I'm about to separate it into fours like we used to do back in the day. Let'S see, if I remember all right last day is a natural girl. Oh and I bought the extra strength, oh for coarse resistant, hair textures, oh okay, oh yeah! I forgot a whole lot of stuff come in a box. Jasper me, okay, wrong one, but it's okay! Okay, oh yeah, gloves, I forgot gloves, come with it cause girl. I uh. I really love this nail. Color I got. I don't know what color it is. I know it's number 66, so I can get it again, but still I don't want to mess it up. I really love this color. I picked it on accident and I'm so happy that I did that. I'M so happy that I did that, like accidents has been an accident to be magical, yeah girl, we've been a just for me with olive oil. Okay, let's see activate me, please yeah mix for at least one minute or more okay in the kitchen, with twisted like a stir-fry foreign yeah. One thing I forgot to do is put a protective base on my scalp. You want to make sure that you take some Vaseline or something and put it on the parts of those quadrants. I just forgot. No. Turning back now, yeah natural girls support your relaxed girls. Relax girls support your natural girls. When Issa said that she was supporting everybody. Black, she did not just mean just the natural girls. She met URI by black period, okay, so I'm on my last section starting to tingle, so I got ta hurry up. Well, y'all! This is it this. Is it I'm a little emotional? I'M not gon na lie. I'M a little like. Oh it's hot! Oh Lord, don't burn my scalp off! Oh Lord! It'S getting hot, oh, but I really don't want to wash it out yet! Oh my God! Oh it's getting hot! Oh my head's gon na catch on Flames. Let me go wash this out girl. Ah okay, it's burning, I got ta go. I got ta. Go! Oh, oh, never, mind! I'M fine! Oh okay! Maybe I could do it. Oh ouch ouch. As soon as I must stop massaging it. Oh my God. Please take! Please take it is an extra strength. Yeah. Let me let me go. Let me go straight whoa, it's straight. Oh my God. Please! Well, I'm not gon na say please take because it did take, but I just hope it took as good as as good as it can. You know because it started burning quick, so I washed it out pretty quick all right. Let'S do a wash number two yeah. It looks so thin, oh my God, I am so scared and I didn't have. This is the all the shedding that I had which to me. That'S not a lot, because my hair, when it was naturally shed way more than that um. So it's really nothing. Oh Lord, all right! Well, let me condition and get it dry and we'll see what we got serum see gotten in there much yeah that look a little it's uh flat like it, took all the way this side. Oh no! It'S! Okay! Thank you! Wow wow! I haven't even I haven't even flat ironed it. Yet it's like bone straight. This is crazy. Mind you. It definitely needs a trim. Oh my God. That is bad. It surely needs a trim m, but it's still. It'S still thick. You know um, but oh my God. I'M gon na be able to do so. Many styles, I can't wait to. Oh, it's been a lot of times. I'Ve been able to do that. All right! Wait! Okay, let's do a review gosh! I hate companies that don't make like come on so okay. So a review um. I do believe that this is the best relaxer I've ever had, and I think that's because of the fact that I have been natural for five plus years. The length got me a little bit, I'm a little blown because I thought my drain was a little longer than this, because, honestly, when I uh blew my hair out, maybe some months ago um, my hair was actually this length like when I you know, was natural And I blew it out, it was this length like I can put post. You know I had posted on my Ig this thing, so I thought that the relaxer would have stretched me and I would at least gotten down here somewhere, but it's cool whatever. This is gon na, be so manageable, manageable when I say it is so sleek and so like I hardly had to flat iron. I really didn't honestly. I did two really light passes on each piece and the pieces were not small, because the blow dry had already had me where I needed to be so honestly um. I will not be doing this every uh. What do we used to do? I think we used to do touch-ups every two weeks. We used to do uh winning ways to do every six weeks. We do a full um uh full set full whatever you call it. I don't remember dang, it's been a while, since I've been a part of the relaxer game but yeah, so I will be doing that because I'm loving the results of five years, I'm not saying I'm gon na wait another five years, but at the same time, oh My God, just managing this is about to be so much fun. Oh, my God! I never look forward to it so much in my life, it's gon na be so easy to wrap. I mean it's so flat mind you, I use the super. Did I mean to get the super? I don't know, I think I did see it, but I really didn't care and I knew that I had a lot of hair um, but now it don't feel like. I have a lot of hair. Like my hair used to be real, I mean you know as a natural. Your hair is just so much, you know thicker or whatever, but this is about to be so easy to maintain, like even at the gym there's. So many things you could do with the gym: wear a sweatband. You know wrap it all types of stuff, so I'm gon na definitely be doing that. I cannot wait to do some updos. I miss doing updos. I miss being able to do a nice Sleek Pony. I'M about to be able to do all that, like I might, even I'm not going to play with it, but yeah. I'M definitely not doing this again for at least another three months. I'M not like I'm gon na try my best to maintain this and if it starts getting crazy around the first month, I might throw some braids in, but I'm not trying to do this every six weeks like we used to do back in the day. I don't want my hair to be over processed, that's why I think this has got to be the best relaxer I've ever had because of the fact that my hair is not over processed. I hardly ever put the flat iron in my hair, maybe a couple times a year. You know it was really no, so the only damage I got in my hair is from accidentally cutting out faux Locs. So you know, but at the same time this right here yeah I missed this - I miss being able to do that. I missed that um, but it's way thinner than I thought which that could be from other things too. I mean I mean I had a surgery that actually um was all in like hair loss and everything and I've done pretty good to not lose any hair but still um, it's just hair. So you know I'm very, very excited to be on this new relaxed Journey. I'M still gon na always support my natural girls. Oh my God, it is really thin, my goodness, so I might add some tracks in it's so thin. Now, um! Well, I'm not pulling everything in. Let me see, let me just see what it will look like and a little pony without me stretching too much yeah, it's a tiny, it's a tiny pony. You know, but at the same time I've been wanting to do some half up. Oh okay, half up half Downs, so you know I can literally. Oh my god look how easy that was to partner my hair. That'S crazy! I'Ve been wanting to introduce some some half up. Half Downs um like a yeah, it's a little thin, I'm definitely gon na. I'M probably gon na add a Tracker too. I don't need to, but for certain Styles I may need to. I don't know, but this is the best relaxer I've ever had okay, and I think it's because of the fact that I've been natural five plus years. So I don't know, I'm gon na keep watching these YouTube videos. You know what I'm saying to see people's different experiences of how they um you know dealt with relaxers after five plus years, and things like that, and you know I'm also going to try to get on a healthier Journey. Now that I am relaxed because I still want to - I still want my hair to be healthy. I'M definitely going to get a a trim um and I'm gon na try to stay on a regimen where I take care of my hair in this state because, as you know, back in the day, we didn't even know what we were doing. We were just slapping it in so now I'm a little more educated, and I do not regret this. I am happy happy and I think that I'm going to be able to worry about other things and hair can be like it'll have to be the top of the list like I don't have to. You know the girls that get it get it. You know what I'm saying, but at the same time I'm loving it so far, um yeah, that's all I got ta say really. I might keep y'all updated or whatever, depending on what y'all comment in and whatnot, okay anyway, love y'all, not meaningful period. Um make sure you tell your mother and your father to subscribe because we're all in the family um like comment share, subscribe, tell your mother and all that all that yeah. That'S what we're supposed to say and I'll see you in my next video bye,

Cody Walsh: Can I just say how wonderful you look (not saying that you didn't before) but your transformation I'm so proud of you

Yanara Luguera: Your hair looks so healthy.I have 2 years with my natural hair but I would like to do relaxer again , but I’m so scare now

Mike Freeman: Nobody loves the ajc jingle like meeeeeeeee and Yas girl you did that! The final look is everything no tracks needed!

A Webb: It is really cute. Natural is good but can really be hard to deal with. I commend you on 5 years of natural. I maybe at 3 yrs now.. and starting to think about relaxing. Oh, spraying with oil sheen if relaxer starts to burn will soothe the scalp.. I remembered that!! Enjoy it’s beautiful! Thanks for sharing.

0tismadaline: You are looking absolutely gorgeous l love the result

Tanya Thomas-Holmes: You should cut your ends, too. Remember 5 years no relaxed hair to get it to grow and get thicker. Use argan, coconut, and castor oils for your edges to grow back. Peppermint oil promotes hair growth, too.

Lavenda Jarrell: Great job...do what works for you. You look beautiful

Brandon Dixon: You look amazing . I’m glad I’m #ApartOfTheTribe ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ i still have my bumper sticker you sent me and I remember when I sang you happy birthday ❤

Evan Geline: Great Job Lady!

lolo cabana: So pretty sis either way, I subscribed

Ashlyn Mundy: It's beautiful darling❤️

Lam Lam: I’m cool with changes sis as long as you don’t lower yourself down to City Girls. Also you do not need to explain nothing to no one! Your hair your business However rather a black woman created it or not is not as important as the long term health concerns of putting such chemicals that permanently altar the natural state your hair is meant to be. We as black woman do not have knowledge of the studies of the chemicals that relaxers as they go into our bloodstream. You mentioned maybe one day having a daughter, fibroids are linked to relaxers. Black women have the highest diagnosis for fibroids.

Susie Louise: On your next relaxer you should only relax the new growth and not the rest that’s already relax and it will stay amazing.

cl: PLEASE GIVE YOUR LIFE TO JESUS CHRIST HE DIED FOR THE SINS OF THE WORLD JOHN 3:16 ROMANS 10:9-13 GOD BLESS AMEN AMEN AMEN ❤
