She Left Her Hair Up For 3 Yrs!! Part 3

Going to do a quick recap so that you can listen to her story and again, yes, she left her glued in extensions and for three years you had them on for how long um, like for three years for three years yeah. So you got it done and you just kept it up for three years yeah, because I didn't see how bad it looked like. I know I guess it was like a confidence issue like I felt, like I'm confident like taking it off. So then that, but I didn't realize how it looked until, like I seen myself in a picture - and I was like whoa okay, I got ta, take it out and then you try to take it out and it wouldn't come out. So was it glued in? Was it uh? They were glued um yeah. It was glued um extensions, oh okay. It was glued in yeah because it's really hard. How did it get really hard like this? I don't know I'm guessing with time and water and showers and and it just got harder and harder. Okay yeah so you had is that was a sort of rubber band right here, yeah so because they they. I think it was a lot of extensions, so um. I did like a ponytail and everything got stuck oh and it just got all stuck together. Yeah yeah, welcome to West Coast finest. What is that and that's why it was saying a rock, because it turned gray like that, so with that glue it was glued on extension. So all this, I think that was the glue that got mixed when yeah that's over time. That looks like three years three years: goodbye, bye, bye, don't want to see you no more! No! No! Oh my God! It'S you doing amazing! So, as you can see, this was her situation. When she came in to me, I was so proud that she finally had the courage to take that step to come in and get her hair done. So, yes, this is her complete transformation. Look at her. She was simply beautiful. She left feeling good about herself. Her self-esteem was lifted, her self-confidence was lifted and, yes, she had a complete hair transformation. However, the million dollar question is: did she come back so, as you seen when she came in her hair had been up for three long years. I did her a beautiful hair transformation, so the million dollar question is: did she come back in? Did she come back in and get her hair restyled? Yes, yes, she came back in to get restyled. I was so proud and happy that she finally came back in. However, her hair was matted. She did leave her hair up for six months this time, so we talked - and I let her know that six months was still too long to leave her hair up. However, we did have a lot of conversation and we did talk about some of the positive responses she had. Your video really helped a lot of people. A lot of people were commenting and saying you know, sharing their stories. I feel like, especially as a woman. We have like it's, it has to do with our self-esteem and our emotion, mainly, and sometimes when we were going through problems, we don't, we should think of the problems. We don't see the solutions right and then I think sometimes we just get caught up in the same routine of getting up going to work. Doing you know taking care of kids, cooking, clean and washing, and we don't do stuff for ourselves yeah. We forget about us. So you know we neglect ourselves in some kind of way, whether it's oh well, we don't buy ourselves anything or we don't get our hair done yes like when they go to work. They go with their parties here and there, whatever yeah they take care of them. We don't do that. We don't get that. I do understand and know that life can be overwhelming sometimes, but we have to continue to practice. Self-Care, yes, and I got ta, keep it real. This was a mess. Yes, it was very Tangled. It was very matted and it took me a while to get it off. Yes here, I finally got it off. Yes, I finally got it off and it is very matted, as you can see. So I definitely talked to her and let her know that six months is still too long. I had to work on getting the braids out getting the hair net off that I put on to protect her hair and still it was a lot of work. So we had a lot of conversation about self-esteem, self-confidence and self-care, and we also talked about negativity and how important it is to keep positivity in our lives to be around positive people and positive energy and how negative energy affects our life. You know not just that that, on the negative you're listening to yourself, that's a great idea when you look at it, you know we're away. Somebody comes in with a negative attitude. You know they're leaving out of your pocket what they do, yeah with the same energy. The only that negative one is here all right, change that right now yeah. I think that's what um we feed that to our children and I always talk. I always try to stay. I mean it's not always easy to stay positive, but we have to type that's the whole thing at least trying yeah, especially when you got little ones, don't be yelling at your kids when they're on their way out to school and expect them to have a good Day at school great, how did you expect them to have a good day at school yeah and I've done that myself there's times where I'm just like we're running late and I'm frustrated and I'll be like yelling. When your self-esteem is down, you don't see what other people think. What she just said is so so true self-esteem and self-confidence is essential to our well-being. Sometimes, when we're down and out and depressed, we don't see our gifts and we don't see our talents. We don't see the good that we possess and that we give to the world or to our children or to our families. So you know, I know there were a lot of comments and people were saying how could she leave her hair up this long? That makes no sense, um she's, just being lazy. Well, we have to know that sometimes life can be so overwhelming that we just neglect ourselves and just know that there is a story. There'S a story behind any person letting their hair get like this or letting certain things that is abnormal in our lives. Get to that point. So, let's be compassionate and let's be considered. I I am very like I have a connection and but like ever since, like the holidays, I kind of stopped praying. I kind of I don't know I was like you know, you're, sometimes your emotions. I was not like reading anymore. I wasn't not even praying anymore, but I was like that's what gets us through things uh, something that's higher than a regular person that can give you that strip yeah. So I was like okay. I understood the purpose to my routine. Now, I'm spraying some uh detangler. Okay, I got that out, but now we have to work on getting the tangles out, um explain system. So again, although this is too long for her to have left her hair up, I'm still very proud that she's still uplifted and she's still encouraged to come in and get her hair restyled. So that is definitely a plus, and I think that we are definitely heading in the right direction to keep her uplifted and motivated. So continue to keep watching.
