Hello: everyone welcome back to the lucky for princess a YouTube channel. My name is Melissa, and today I'm going to show you guys how to blend in your highlighted, shorter hair with lucky for princess hair extensions. Here I am with my natural hair. It is pretty short length I have some balayage highlights happening, but I really like to add length to my hair and the perfect way to do that is by adding some hair extensions for hair extensions. We are using today election for princess, hair extensions. These are so amazing - and I love this protective case that I have my extensions in it's really great to store and keep your extensions put away. That way, they don't get damaged or anything, and this is super thin if it's right in your closet because of this little hanger, it's a perfect little addition, and a really great thing about this - is that you can also travel with your hair extensions in here, and It is going to be kept super protective, so I'm gon na open this up and show you guys what hair extensions we are going to be using. While I have the extensions here, I'm going to take advantage and brush them out. If you make sure there are no knots in your hair, it'll really speed up the process. These hair extensions are super silky and soft, and they have been kept in great condition because I always store them back in its little travel case. And the great thing about these hair extensions is that they already have built in like balayage highlights within the hair, and that is going to make adding length and volume to my own hair so much easier. The great thing about these highlighted extensions is that they don't have to match your exact hair perfectly, but because they already have the highlights built in is going to make mixing them in and blending them. So much better and it's gon na look like it's your own hair. I like to start off with a really long piece like this. This is going to be like our main base of extension, and I'm going to place this one first, we're gon na start off by sectioning off our hair and all you're gon na need is a hair clip to pull your hair up. Now we can take our forklift left flip that over and start clipping on the hair right in the center of the back of our head, and then you want to lay your hair down. You want to see the progress that you're making while you're, applying the hair, extensions and already the hair is blending really beautifully. But we have to add a lot more pieces so that we can get that volume once again we're going to pick up some of the hair from the front and tie it up for this next step. We'Re going to be using two of the three clip weft and we're going to be placing it on the either side of our head. So, just like you did the first piece just grab on to the three clip weft and you want to make sure that you are placing these on opposite sides of your head close to your face. So we did this side now we're going to take the other three clip left and we are just going to apply it on the very opposite side that we did the first one and once again let our hair down. So we can see the progress that we're making. These are not like an exact same match and because they have like these built-in highlights, they are blending in beautifully with this hair. Personally, I like a lot a lot of volume, so we're gon na be adding one more big one. I'M gon na take another three clip weft and we're gon na. Add that to the back of our head or right in the center, the hair extensions look like they are a perfect match for me, but we have one last step. This next step is really important. If you have shorter hair like me, and you want to blend much longer extensions, you will want to definitely do this next step. So what you'll want to do is grab a little individual single clip, weft or even, if you have to clip webs, you can grab those as well and we're gon na place these right on top here close to our feet, I'm going to make sure that our Extensions blend perfectly with our own hair, so you don't even need to section it off. All you have to do is lift this a little bit and place the clip right there. So that way, it looks like your hair, even in the front, is growing super long again, you take the single clip, weft place it close to your face, and that is all these are the final results, if you guys want to blend shorter, highlighted hair - and you Want to make it long with extensions, you will want to pick up some of the lucky for princess, highlighted extensions. They are so beautiful and so easy to match and, like you saw, the process is super simple and super quick like you cannot go wrong when doing this. Thank you guys so much for watching. I hope you enjoyed this video and we will see you next time. Bye
