Hi friends, it's tyra welcome back to my channel. So, as you can see, my client's hair is a light. Copper. We had took her from dark brown to this color. She had it for a while. So now she wants to go back to jet black. So the first thing that i want to do is i want to fill her hair when you're going from light to dark, it's necessary to add in all the colors that you removed, so that when you shampoo the hair again, you won't lose the color and it Won'T fade to brown and also because it's a very real possibility, depending on how light the hair is, that you'll get something like a green or murky color, and you don't want to do that so from going from black to blonde or lighter colors you're, removing brown Red orange, so i just apply those colors back in and now, as you see here, i am applying the jet black, so i go through that and then, as always, i do treatments to the hair. This is what i look like after we blow-dried it and she is getting a sew-in today, so i did braid her up and i am using my brand love and health. If you don't know that is my brand and i am using the night cap oil every time i apply this to someone's scalp they're like this is love. This is heaven because it is nice and refreshing, it is to moisturize the scalp and it also helps with hair growth, and i normally don't do sew-ins all the time, because that's just not my expertise and it's not something that i really want to um. Have it become my expertise? However, i do know how to do a nice sew-in. I love uh, giving natural extensions, so we're just doing a side part, and i am using my raw hair. This is 20, 25, 2 and 24. I believe those were the lamps that we use if you're interested in purchasing this hair. I will leave my website down below it's love and health shop.com. You can also find any of my products on there as well so yeah, i'm just gon na go through and install this for her, and then we are going to trim it up, give it some layers and then curl it whenever you are using good hairs, always Best to use the fold of the flip over method where you're not cutting the hair into a thousand pieces, it's always best to fold it as much as you can. I usually fold it the whole way through until i get to the top to maybe the last couple of rows, like maybe the last two or three rows, depending on how much hair they have and how flat i can get the braids, because you want to keep Reusing the hair and it's always better to install the hair when it's still in one piece, even if you have to kind of keep track of where you need to put them back in order. So this is what the hair looks like after i installed it and, like i said this is the three bundles and look how much hair it has. This is 20 22 and 24 inches of the natural wavy raw indian. So the first thing i'm going to do is just brush through it and make sure that all the tangles from flipping the hair over are out of her hair, and then i am going to blow dry. That'S a big tip for dealing with extensions. You first want to apply a anti-humidity serum, so i applied my protect me serum to help with the humidity the humidity getting into the hair, because raw hair will react to elements, so you want to treat it just like you would natural hair. So i did apply that and then the the big tip with raw hair is: you want to blow dry the hair to kind of tame it first before you flat iron, it and you'll get the hair uh straighter and it will stay straighter longer. So i did apply some hair wax and i applied that to the edges and the top to blend her natural hair. With the extensions and as you can see, i am using a hot comb to smooth those areas out and i am just going to press it and, like i said, blend the two together. So i am using my paul mitchell neural flat iron first to straighten the hair, and then i use my babyliss prima 3000 to give it a nice tight curl. What you saw me spray was the sebastian shaper hairspray. It is a very light. Uh hold a flexible hold, so it'll hold the hair, but it won't make it stiff, and i like to um spray it and then comb it through and let it air dry, i mean let it dry and then comb it through and what that's going to do Is give you a nice curl that will last so that's what you see me doing and then i just hold to hold on to the curl until it cools, so that it can stay as tight as possible. You could also just clip each curl when you do them so that they can fully uh cool off in a tight, tight curl, but i didn't want to do that. Just wanted it to. I have a a decent curl without having to go through um. You know making it super tight, so yeah, i'm just going through doing that on the top. I did use my baby list, uh one. I think it's the one point one and a quarter uh regular, hair curler and i did use the that on the top, because i didn't want the top curls to be really tight. I just wanted them to have a nice uh bounce to it and body, but i did not want them to be tight and yeah. I did. I did three um sections on the top and then i pin pin them so that those can um stay in longer. So this is what her hair looked like when i was done and of course, as always, i used my um shine spray on her hair just to give it that last little touch and then i also used a little bit of edge control, um and then i Comb, the curls through and um yeah - i just kind of left it like that she was going out later on that day. So i didn't want to comb the curl out too too much and she could see she was happy about it. So yeah guys! This is how i took her from that bright, copper color to jet black and also gave her some nice extensions to celebrate her birthday. Hey guys, this is the finished, look as always make sure to leave any comments or questions down below. Thank you so very much for watching.
