After doing a number of hairstyles using the needle and yarn technique, i still get a lot of questions on how exactly i do it so today i decided to share with you the technique on its own, i'm not creating any hairstyle, it's just the technique. I also got a lot of questions on how to undo this hairstyle, so i've bundled it together. You don't have to click to another video. You just need to keep watching this video and then you can also learn how to undo so. If you're looking at learning to do that, please stay tuned hi. My name is eve mafupa, and i am so glad that you're here, if you're not subscribed, make sure you subscribe and hit the notification button so that you don't miss any of the videos that i post on this channel. And if you are an oldie and a returning viewer, thank you so so much. I really appreciate you. So let's jump right into this tutorial, so i am only doing that section. I am using the nash, organics leave-in conditioner to hydrate the hair to make sure that it's moisturized and it keeps the moisture and to seal that moisture. I'M also using the national organics whip shea butter the twist and shine, and that is just to make sure that the hair is well nourished. Well, moisturized stays moisturized for longer and also has got a little bit of shin. So now the stitching process, i'm using knitting yarn and it's in three ply i'm using a colored yarn so that you can see exactly what i do and that needle is a big needle. A yarn sewing needle used for sewing jerseys and all that kind of stuff, and also it is very bland. As you can see, i've put the other end of the thread into the hair and then now i'll start threading. The first time i go right through from one end to the other end of the section and then bring the thread out the next time. I am ending only on the middle of the section, but i want to miss that yarn so that it doesn't go on top of the stitching but under the stitching. So that's why i'm missing the yarn as much as possible and then now, i'm just going in from one side and then coming out right in the middle and then in from the opposite side. Coming out right in the middle tip. Number one make sure that the parts are very clean, clean parts make for very neat needle and thread cornrows, so make sure that the parts are very clean tip number two: don't rush through the hairstyle so that you don't put the needle too far from where you Last uh went into that section. I hope you understand what i mean. The threading should be closed together enough so that it looks neat if it's too far from each other, then it doesn't look very neat, and can you see like those sections there, they are so close to each other they're, not too close, but they're not too far. Apart such that it gives the illusion of stitch. Braids tip number three: make sure that the thread that you're using is not too long, because when it's too long, when it's like hectic to do this hairstyle well after this, i'm sure you can do this hairstyle easily. I will try and show you how i do it on my hair, but when it comes to doing it on someone else, this is basically everything and you can wrap the yarn around the end there so that you can finish it off nicely. You can also do a braid if you know how to braid or a twist, but i prefer just to wrap the yarn around the end there so that i can finish it properly. So that's it! This is everything that you need to know when it comes to the needle and thread cornrow technique. So the undoing the undoing is very easy. It takes less time as well as long as you got it and you didn't stay with the hairstyle too long, because if you stay with the hair like two months or three months, well, that's going to be difficult because the yarn goes into the hair and then It tangles it up, but when it comes to and doing it after three weeks, this, basically what you are going to face. This is what you're going to do, basically just picking the thread off the cornrow as easy as that, whether you are and doing it yourself or someone is helping you that's basically what you're going to do. You can use any sharp comb or a needle. I prefer using a red.com, but you can use anything, here's a tip when the thread gets too long, then you can just cut it off and then you are now dealing with a shorter piece of thread which is easier to undo and then you can continue undoing. Do it's as easy as that no rocket science, like so simple, so this is how you undo the needle and thread cornrows. Was this video of any benefit to you? If it was, please give me a thumbs up and if you're not subscribed, make sure you subscribe and hit the notification button so that you don't miss any of the videos that i put on this channel.
