Here are a few products I use while my hair is in a protective style:

Apple Cider Vinegar

Hi everyone welcome back to my channel, and today I just wanted to talk to you about maintaining your hair, underneath your cell in so or any kind of protective style. That is, I believe that that is probably one of the most important things you can do, even if you're not into hair care. Even if you don't really care about, you know your hair, underneath it still, it still shouldn't. You should take care about your hair, underneath. Okay, um, alright, so hold on. I thing is a little too too close. Okay, so let me get started so it took me a while to really try and figure out what really worked for me in my hair and what I think would benefit other people and I'm kind of narrowed. It narrowed it down to something very simple, very easy for a lot of people to do that will give them the best and greatest results at the end of you know, they're three months or two months or however long you keep your hair in. So let me know if you get started, so I can make this video very, very short and painless. Okay. So the first thing is drinking water is plain and simple drink. Your water you'll see a difference in from head to toe. That'S all. I can really say drink your water. You cannot expect your hair to grow um and be healthy if you're, steady, drinking sodas and in energy drinks and coffee in you, that's fine, but you need to make sure it's balanced or you need to actually make sure you have more water than any of those. Other things um. Secondly, one of the first things I do. Whenever I get my hair done it, it's amazing it just it's it's great its uses. I really have the words for it, but this is apple, cider, vinegar. So what I do, I have all this stuff in my lap, so just bear with me um. So what I'm gon na do with that cider vinegar is. I will use one part of this with two-thirds of water and I'll put it in a little. You know. Nozzle thingamabob plastic thing like this, and I will soak my entire scalp with it, so I will literally drench my whole head in it. It stinks it don't smell good, it doesn't smell good, look at me, um it's just it just doesn't, and I will put a shower cap over my head for about 15 minutes and then I'll get in a shower and I'll rinse it out um. That will stop the itching another, the itching and it just it's very refreshing as well. Another thing you can use the apple cider vinegar for is for simply washing your hair. It'S going to be very hard to get shampoo in your scalp. So good luck! If you can, let me know um, but apple, cider, vinegar in the water mixture. It'S perfect, it cleanses the scalp as well. So if you are definitely active and you're working out, I commend you because I need to be doing that um, but you will definitely have a dirtier scalp than the rest of us or even if you're not so, you may need to use apple, cider, vinegar, mixture. Maybe once a week or even every other week, I would say um me: I use it once a month because I'm lazy and I haven't been doing anything lately, so my scalp has been okay, especially during this wet. You know the the summer months it's going to get a little bit. Sweaty err in stinkier, but - and I would say once a month is fine with me. The water nun doesn't mean that I only wet my hair once a month because I do still go wash. The hair and I just kind of use the water pressure from the shower to really get in my scalp without using anything on it um. So this will be good to use for you every whenever you really feel like you need to cleanse your scalp, because your scalp needs to be cleansed. You cannot expect growth and healthy hair with the dirty scalp. I mean all the moisture is good. There'S a difference between that and it's just nasty and dirty, and you just need to remove all the product build-up so definitely using apple cider. Vinegar, is a must. Secondly, um taking this little nozzle thingy off and placing it on your deep conditioner. So what I have here is Kira care and all I do whenever I need to deep condition. My hair is switch. The nozzle oops, like that and from here you're able to really get in your scalp and deep condition. Your hair, underneath so you're still not missing your deep condition, like you have been doing so, religiously uh, just because you're getting soand does not mean that you just can skip everything that you have been doing before. If you were doing it um, it's definitely a protective style for me, so I don't take my sewing as I don't get to do anything to my hair. I take my sewing as like an extra it's like extra help. So it's not not only am i not manipulating my hair, my natural hair, it's bright it up. It'S it's secured, it's fine! So then I can really really get that moisture in there make sure it's deep conditioned and this little thingy use your besty conditioner. I mean it's really. Anything you've got is better than nothing at all. Here I had a little bit left in it, so I just added in a little bit of water and shook it up and I can get another um, probably another, like 2 uses out of it, because you don't need too much in your scalp and that's something I want to warn you of: do not use it as if you were using nuts like okay, don't use it like. You did not have this in your head, so don't go and drink your whole head in it. Don'T do anything like that. The reason why I use it with this little knob, it's just to add some moisture instead of not adding anything. This is the whole point I'm trying to make is that something is better than nothing at all: um, okay. So after I use that I've gotten in the shower and then I rinse my head again um. This is like normal natural hair girls wash day when you just keep getting in the shower and just keep washing your hair all damn day. Okay, I'm not hungry. So I will also use these two things now, these two things I'll use just on occasion or whenever I need to definitely they will be used at least once a week after that, it's totally up to if I'm lazy or if I'm not lazy. If I remember, if I do, if I don't remember so, it's the SHA strength and shine leave-in conditioner from cream of nature, and then this is dehydrate thermal natural, their daily growth moisturizing lotion. So I use these two things, I'm not necessarily together, because that's going to call the lot of weight on the hair as well, and we don't want that, even though we do want our hair moisturized. So I like this spray because it gives moisture - and this is what I'm going to keep talking about as much moisture, moisture on the scalp and on the hair. So I like this break because I can easily get in and you spray my scalp and not have to really drench my weave and then that so end up being sticky and nasty and all that kind of stuff - and I don't know why Madame Berthe, I think I'M just so, I think, to start running and exercise, and this is just ridiculous anyway, um and then I'll use the hydro thermal naturals with same concept. I will just take this little nozzle and I will place it on here and get in between my scalp as well um and that's pretty much nope. That is not it. That'S! Well, that's pretty much it for as far as conditioners in things like that. The last thing I want to show, which is the most important thing that I'm going to show you - and I hope that everyone is doing is using in oil. This right here is Jamaican black, castor oil. I got my bottle from tinned ruin curls here in Houston, but you can order it pretty much through Amazon up or it through Amazon or, I believe the website as well. Um Jamaican black, castor oil, for me, is a Holy Grail. I will probably never stop using it. It gives me it is perfect for my hair. It gives me the strength that I need once I take my hair out it doesn't. It gives me growth, it's just. It'S an amazing oil, but you do not need to use a lot if you use a lot of this oil. You will hate me for saying use this oil and I'm telling you right now. You will not be able to blame that on me. You only need a little bit of this on your scalp, so what I will do is I'll place. Dots like at the top of my hand, mainly because I just feel that it's gon na eventually fall down, because that's what happens. Um and it'll end up getting to the rest of those spots um. If I don't just do the top of my head, I won't do here, but I don't do anything too low. You know just I don't want to risk my whole head just being freakin, sticky and disgusting. So that's pretty much it you guys very simple, very easy! Just keep your hair moisturized deep conditioned! Go to Sally's, get a little nozzle like this deep condition. Your scalp stay under the water for a little bit and then use some oil deep conditioner and I promise you, you will see a difference once you take your sewing out. If you don't see a difference, I don't know. I don't know to tell you you you just don't anyways, I promise you will see a difference once you take your someone out whether that be length or just the overall strength of your hair. So you have any questions comments or like this video thumbs. A bit leave me a comment below, and I will talk to you guys soon. Thank you so much for watching. You guys have a blessed day. Bye,
