Hey guys welcome back to my youtube channel. I hope you guys are doing well in today's video i'm going to be showing you how to do this cute simple, but effortless half up half down hairstyle on a budget. So i wanted to do my hair half a path down with blonde and some highlights in, but it was like last minute and i didn't want to spend a whole bunch of money um on buying some blonde highlighted bundles or whatever. So what i decided to do was to check out my local beauty supply store, and i found this bobby boss forever new seven piece, one pack solution, and once i saw that they had all these colors like this pack, that i got actually had three different colors In it, so this is perfect if you want to do like a highlighted type of blonde, like i did right here. This is their 613 and their 27 color mixed together yeah. I recommend it getting the super curl if you want it already styled, and i just love this hair like it, doesn't look cheap like a cheap blonde at all, and it's not too shiny, which is really nice once you brush it out. It really helps blend the highlights in, and i just i'm just in love, so i believe it was about 25 dollars for each pack, so that total to be fifty dollars. I highly recommend checking this out and seeing if it works out for you, let's go ahead and get right into this video. So this is the bobbi ball seven piece, one pack solution um. It looks like this and i got it in the style super curl, because that way it's already styled and you don't have to be worrying about putting heat on synthetic hair. It comes in the color 2730 and 613 and it has two 16 inch bundles two 18 inch bundles two 20 inch bundles and a closure. I ordered two packs of this hair because i just wanted to use the 6 13 and 27 color to achieve this. Half up half down, look um. So this is how the bundles look outside of the package - they're, really nice colors and they don't look cheap or synthetic once they're installed and if you're interested that's the type of closure it comes with, i'm not going to be using it. But if you're interested it's there for you, okay, so starting out with styling, i already cornrowed the back of my hair and left the top half up so that i could put it in a ponytail for this half up half down look. This is going to be a quick weave for me, so i took this 30 second gel and i'm going to put it on the back of this cap that i put over my head. So that way, i can create like a barrier between my braids and the glue. I took a threaded needle and threaded around the perimeter of the cap just for extra security. Next, i just took a blow dryer to the cap to let that gel dry as much as possible, and just because i'm so extra i took some got to be glued spray to add a extra layer of protection on the cap after the got7 glue dries completely. Now it's time to go ahead and start gluing on those tracks. This is the glue that i use just the 30 second super hair bond glue. You can find that at your beauty, supply store and i'm going to start out with gluing on the blonde um tracks. First, i'm going to like do blonde and then the 27 and then the blonde i'm just going to keep alternating to create that highlight effect, as you can kind of see, i'm laying the tracks in like a u-shape. So that way, i don't have to leave any leave out at the top and the tracks would be hidden once i finish, laying the tracks all the way to the top. I just let it dry completely and then i go ahead and start cutting off that cap. So right here you can see that i've taken out the edges that i want to leave out for the ponytail and then i'm just going to kind of braid those to the side. So that way they don't get slicked up with the rest of my hair, i'm gon na be using some edge booster to slick my hair up into a ponytail. I haven't flat ironed. My leave out you could, i just didn't feel like it was necessary. I just blow dried it so that way it could be kind of smooth and i'm just going to take my comb and kind of smooth that edge booster throughout my hair, so that way it'll lay as flat as possible. So i braided my leave out up and i'm gon na wrap it with some molding paper um. So that way no glue gets on the braid to secure the end of the molding paper. I just took a little bit of the glue and i'm just going to stick it to the molding paper until it dries so that way it doesn't unravel so for the ponytail. It'S the same concept: i'm going to be wrapping the tracks around the braid that i made, but i'm just going to keep alternating between the 6 13 and the 27. So i can continue to have that highlight effect and what i like to do is i put a little bit of track glue on the track when i'm putting it initially on to my braid that i have right here, but once i um have it on there. I like to put the track glue on the actual molding paper, so that way it doesn't get as messy as if you're trying to keep lining the glue on the tracks. If that makes sense once i have all the tracks glued on the ponytail, i take a little bit of temporary color spray and i just want to make this kind of like an ombre. So that way, it doesn't look crazy, because my real hair is, you know, dark brown at the top. So i wanted to continue to make that ombre effect. Then i'm just going to take a piece of the back of the ponytail and wrap it around where the tracks are, so you can't see it and just spray. Some got to be glued spray to secure the piece of hair, so it doesn't unravel as well. Now onto the baby hairs, i just take this really thin flat iron and kind of flat iron them underneath so that way, it'll be easy to style them with the edge control and, of course, i use hair by ky edge control i'll. Have it listed down below this edge control will keep your edges lasted literally all day and then some and then i just use my edge brush to style the edges. You know, however, you would like: if synthetic hair has a little bit of shine to it, you can take some dry shampoo to kind of get that sheen out of it, but this one really doesn't have too much sheen with it and yeah. Once you brush those curls out and kind of like blend those highlights together, this style looks so cute and yeah. I really really like how this turned out yeah.
