Hey guys, so I am in my bathroom filming as you can see this just a very, not so glam video, a few of my girlfriend's paid to have their weaves taken down and I'm just like. That'S crazy. I'Ve been taking mine out myself for a couple years. Now - and it's super super easy to do so figure - I would try to do a video showing you how I take my lead and stalls out. All you need is one of these razors that you can get from like the beauty supply store for like a dollar. So my husband's helping me film this video right now so yes, that's it so give me questions rings like that. Let me know, but if you have a different wave to me or we've installed, that's even easier than this, let a girl know and yeah. So I brushed out my leaves, and I'm in my bathroom so yeah you want to do this in front of the mirror. Alright, so look, let's go ahead and get started yeah. So the first thing you're gon na want to do. If you have a leave out is go ahead and kind of either braid it or pin it or do something with it to get it out of the way so you're not running the risk of cutting your own hair when you're cutting out your so in so I'M let you see here, I'm braiding my I'm just kind of getting it out of the way it's been a probably unbraid, but just get it out of the way and you may want to go ahead and you know, use a hair elastic. It'S kind of get your weave out of the way, also or your hair extensions next you're gon na want to go right in front of your mirror there and take your razor now. As you see here, I kind of cut a little piece here. Just so, you can kind of see where I get started and if you look along the tracks, you'll see the actual thread where the hair was was sewn in and taking your razor and pulling up your track a little bit cool. You can actually pull to see where the thread is you're. Just gon na cut along the thread, and I mean be careful. I would have to lie to you. If I told you I've, never kind of you know cut a little piece of my own err. That'S happened before, but not a significant amount, and I definitely didn't do it this time, because I was really careful and just use that razor just to cut along those thread lines, and that's just that is this - is it this is. This is all you got to do is just keep cutting along the thread line with your razor and just go ahead and pull it on out and there you go, there is one track remove and you just want to keep going. I'M gon na do one more for you here, so you can see me again. I'M using the the eyebrow razor that you can get at a do supplies store. They sell them either a dollar to four dollars. I'Ve seen before super super inexpensive and easy to come across, and I am just and literally once you did the first track off. It just gets easier and easier, just cut these out and and that's pretty much it removing okay okay times. So we are back so by the time you're done, and this is literally like I said - maybe 10 15 minutes later. If that you should have a whole bunch of we've taken out this and what you see here is I use a we've met because I find that was a weave net. My leaves last long, but I never have a lose track. That'S falling out anything like that. So I highly highly recommend having weave a weave net put on over your braids when you're doing your installs, because not only does it keep the, I think your weave will ask longer, but also it protects your own hair from like the friction of the tracks, against Your scalp I used to have a problem with itching. You know when you'll see those girls, Pat your weave, because it's itchy that doesn't happen when you have a weave net, or at least that's the experience that I've had since using a weave net over your braids. For your install that aside, so this is pretty much it, and this is where this is where it gets. This is the part that actually takes a little bit longer yeah, you take your weave net off, but then you've got to UM braids and if your hair is shorter and relaxed and it's easy and it's fast, but those of you that have seen my real hair Video that I shot almost a year ago know that I have natural hair and it's pretty thick and I guess kind of long so yeah, it's gon na. Take me a minute to kind of take all that out so, but I'll show you really quickly how I just take out the netting, which was a little bit more complicated, but not really so check it out. So removing the netting really is the same process as removing the the weave you're gon na go ahead and or yeah the tracks. You'Re gon na go ahead and use that razor again pull the hair pull the net up. So you can see where it's been sewn in and just cut along those thread lines and sorry we're a little bit cut out here but yeah. That'S the process cut along with red lines and that's how you remove the netting. So at this point, you've watched me take out the the lead net and at this point all you have left of the Braves to kind of just take out and unbraid as you. You know at your leisure and then after that, I'm gon na wash condition all that and I'm gon na actually be rocking my own hair for a couple of weeks, because it's a it's an anniversary present to my husband who hates the weave, and I just need A break for a couple weeks, so I'm definitely gon na - do that. So the next video I'm gon na show you is just gon na, be me showing my real hair again and I'm gon na grill dry, Flatiron straight and all that. But I'll show you that in the video following this one, so this is the part one and then stay tuned for part. Two thanks so much for watching dimes, and I hope this video helped you girls, who want to take down your own weave installs at home.
