Hair Transformation | Perfect Locks | Sew In Weave

Hey so i'm so excited today, i'm going to be getting my hair done and i'm going to be taking you guys along for the transformation and most of you don't know, but i actually have naturally really curly hair insert baby picture. It'S not that curly right now, but when i was little, people always wanted to touch my hair and i think that's when it first got very annoying for me and i never let anybody touch it. As i got a little bigger and i grew up always wanting my hair to be like slicked back or straight, i never really grew up loving my curly hair. I always saw my mom straightening, her hair, which is also really curly like mine, and i feel like also in the media. It just made. It seem like having straight hair or styled. Curly hair from an iron was more desirable, so i straightened my hair. I dyed it blonde dyed it back again dyed it blonde again. I never really gave my hair the chance to grow naturally long and thick, which i totally regret, and although it was really fun doing those things to my hair, if i could take it back, i totally would and just let my natural curly hair grow long and Thick, i have also done a keratin straightening treatment, which i loved at the time, and it's taken me about two years to get my naturally curly hair back from all the dyeing and the treatments and, honestly, i'm so in love with the process of loving my natural God-Given beauty - and this includes my natural curly hair and just letting it grow curly and thick, and i'm trying to be as patient as i can to let my hair grow out naturally, but by the time it does, i think i'm going to already be dead. So my hair doesn't grow that fast. Luckily, we do have the option of using extensions, and i am so in love with perfect locks and their hair extensions. Oh, my goodness. They have various types of hair extensions, such as clip in extensions. They have beaded extensions, but i love a sew on weft a weave, that's my absolute favorite. I absolutely love wearing a weave because it is pretty low maintenance. What they will do is essentially braid your natural hair across and sew in the weave the hair extension onto your head by using a needle and thread. So for my own natural hair. It can get really frizzy really fast and luckily, when it's braided and the only thing on top are like the sides of your natural hair in the front. So your texture is going to be more manageable because it's going to be usually the hair extension showing. And it's also a protective style for your hair, so since most of your hair will be braided, the extension hair takes the daily wear and tear, so your natural hair is protected. You know from the elements as well as protected from heat styling, such as flat irons. You do need to make sure that the person that does braid your hair makes sure that they don't rip your hair out, because there is the fine line between it being way too tight, and also you don't want it to be too loose. And my head is so damn sensitive i will be taking a tylenol before i get my hair done, my hair braided. It hurts like a. I do. Also love clipping extensions honestly, but the proto weave is. It does not come out so like, for example, if a guy grabs on your hair and pulls it it's not it's going to stay in and you don't have to worry about it, slipping out that ain't going nowhere. So how do i find? How did i find perfect locks? I found perfect locks because i was trying to find virgin and remy hair. That was also a brown color. Most places have a really dark brown or black colored hair, and if they do, it's usually dried out and damaged, but perfect locks has a variety of dyed, curly hair. That is also an amazing condition with proper maintenance. It will last one to two years and perfect: locks is ethically sourced, hair from the largest temple in india and they give back to the community, which is so important to me. I think it is crucial to ensure that the hair is ethically sourced. I love hair, but i want to make sure that where i'm getting it from, they aren't killing people to get me my damn hair, i mean i want it, but i don't want it that bad, so i'm so excited laura shonda is coming over to do my Hair today she's a cosmetology student and she does specialize in wigs she hand, sews them and installs them.
