Hey welcome to beauty by the bee. My name is Bridget. This is my best friend and hairstylist keyonnah. This video is going to be about my sewing extensions that I get done so, if you're interested in learning about them and seeing how the process is just watch. So this is, after two years of growing my hair out this is my curls brushed out. You can see how long it is. This is so the way kuna always parts. My hair is on this side. She braids it on the same side each time so that whenever my hair is like let out - and it's naturally curly, if I just put it on this side - there'll be no damage or he do anything. My hair. All of this has never had any heat or any color. This side right here has had heat damage and color right here, and I heat it right here where she leaves it out. So I'm going to show you the difference in the heat damage side. First of the sides: never I keep damage or color, and so you can tell this side it's like pretty flat on its own, just because I've been flat, ironing it so much for so long. You can put them side by side and see this one, because a few inches longer this side right there keeps going down. So this is heat damaged in color versus nothing, and so this is how long my hair has gotten over two years of doing it, and I'm gon na put a picture right here. Hopefully, if I figure out how of how looked before hey - oh, my name is Kiana. I own a lawyer, salon, Opelousas Louisiana and I am Bridget's best friend. So today, what we're gon na do is a sewing. A sewing is adding extensions with the hair, braided underneath and then sewing the the WestEd extensions to the braids. So I'm gon na show you that process um, but just a little history on bridges, hair I've been doing her extensions for years and she's also been over processing her hair for years. So lately, of course, she has to take her professional hair stylist advice. I literally cannot say anything whatever she said I do is what I do. Yes, so um. You know we started doing her extensions. She was leaving our hair all around. It wasn't lasting as long so she wasn't getting the full. She wasn't reaping everything she could from the process, so I convinced her to start leaving out just a little bit and every now and then swapping her parts and her leave out um, and this was the result. So before I was lecture said I was leaving the back end out so that way, whenever I pulled my hair, I could put into a ponytail because my real hair would camouflage my tracks and then, but what happens is every time I put tension, I'm loosening my Hair, I'm loosening my hair and I'm also flat ironing these hairs back here, so these are getting thin as well, but now, since I don't put any hair left out right here, I don't put my hair up. I can put it in a low ponytail like here, but I can't put it all the way up and because of that, it doesn't loosen as quickly because I'm not putting as much tension all the time on it. You'Re gon na watch this throughout the whole process to see how easy to have the dummy, so the first thing she's gon na start with is parting, my hair out and then braiding my whole scalp I'll have to look like Queen Latifah and set it all. So what I'm doing now is deciding where her actual part is gon na, be the Gotham where her separation is gon na, be for her to lay the hair over the tracks. I don't because I you know, I have that like opposite of a widow's peak right here, so what is close to a middle course, I can have without it yeah okay, so we determine apart and now I have to decide how much hair I'm going to leave Around it to be able to cover her extensions like this, so this is sectioned off. This is the part. This is the only real hair of mine. That'S going to be out when we're done all this is going to be braided all right. So what I've done was Brady bridges, hair down and to the ends of it and sold it up here. So now I am going to sew this neck okay, so this is a knit that I'm gon na put over her braids and it's gon na help to protect her hair and have her install last loan using a curved needle and black 3 all righty. So here we are, I sold the net onto the braids. Here are the extensions beautiful 28 inches of body weight and I'm gon na sew this to the braids and the nape. So we're done with the sewing part, and now I'm going to straighten this weave out. Simply with her beautiful extensions okay, so this is the end results of Bridget's hair. Oh, we blended the leave out, and this here will last her about three months and can be done on any hair type in texture. This I'm gon na show another video on maintenance of it, but if you're interested in learning anything else just be sure to subscribe, also subscribe to Kiana's channel, and if you have any questions, she can answer them for you, and just please give us a thumbs up.
