Hi, Babes! Here is how to install and custom color your clip in extensions using my cheat method for short hair or natural hair! I am using Bellami clip ins/clip-ins in this video. Please watch this video for a clip-ins tutorial and a review of Bellami hair extensions.

Hey guys, it's Jodi welcome back to my channel, I'm back with another video that I was teasing for like probably a week now. I wasn't sure if you guys can pick up on like what kind of hair I had in whether it was like a sewing or a wig, but these are clip-in extensions and this is totally different. So I'm going to show you guys how I install my clip ins and custom color them featuring Melanie hair. So if you want to see how I achieve this bomb ginseng sky purple hair looks good. That looks so much just continue to watch so just well. If you've been watching my channel for a while, you know that I'm obsessed with purple hair, especially straight purple, hair, I think that's the most flattering style on me and I think it's specifically because of my skin tone. It looks gorgeous on all skin tones and especially the multi-dimensional purple. It was going during skin in brown skin, so that would be send these clippings like months ago and I kind of for a while. That is testing them out. I wanted it like dark, but you guys are probably tired of that. So I okay, let me do something like out of the box, so I chose one of their own bright colors. I chose the one be violet, ombre and I'm wearing to pack. The extensions will come in this cute little box. It comes with the hanger that you can wash dry, I blow dry and flat iron, my extensions on the hanger and also comes with a storage bag. So I highly suggest before you open the whole package of extensions. You open the bottom first, which is a tester piece, so you kind of look at the color feels and hair and decide if you want to keep it because once you open the package, you can't return it, which is why there's a tester piece - and this is The 220 grams set is 22 inches, and this is how you decide like how much hair you want. They vary in weight, so go some 120 grams, all the way up to 240 grams. So the box comes with ten pieces. It comes with four single clip pieces and then it comes with two of each of the four clip three clip and two clip pieces and, as you can see, the ends are really thick and I'm definitely impressed with these and so to color the hair. I did where the hair in its original color in state, for a little while before I decided to add some dimension. So I just doing some violet gentle color. I went. I went over the roots with a jet black because I already dyed my natural hair darker, but one of the roots of the clippings with a black and then I added also a purple rage. This part really isn't a tutorial, because I just added flush of color over some of the violet pieces and since the color added as semi-permanent is going on top of purple, all it does is just add, like hints, of purple further up on the dark parts of The hair - and I just added some highlights so it's purple on purple, so it's just going to add some dimension instead of like changing the whole color of the hair. Okay, now, for my favorite part, if you have natural, hair or short hair, this hack is perfect for you. So what I do is I just leave my hair out that I want to cover the extension and then I just braid the rest all the way down, and then I sew the ends on top of my braid. So here's a close-up of the braid pattern. You can definitely customize the braiding pattern according to how much hair you want to leave out. So, for example, if you wanted to leave the back out, you would just leave some hair out in the back or the sides or whatever you wish, and my second favorite part is installing all of this gorgeous hair. So, like I said it comes with ten pieces in each set, so once I measure the pieces to my head one piece at a time, i unlock the clips or open them and then I kind of rake it onto my braid to attach it. So I'm attaching the individual clips to secure it onto my braid and then I close it. I also tug it a little bit just to make sure it's secure and then I just move on to the next piece. So this is the fourth clip piece I attached it to my braids close each of the clips. Give it a little tug make sure it's secure in the front is where I can really start to strategically place the color. So at the bottom of the front I put the lightest color so that when I wear the hair you would see like that lighter purple, and then I was going to like the violet and the mixed purples. So I do those two front pieces from there. Isha'S eyeballing it finding which pieces fits, and I packed all two sets of their hair onto my braid also since each other sets I'm wearing is 220 grams. 2 sets is going to be 440 grams, which is well over 4 bundles of virgin hair, which is usually a hundred grams per bundle. So this is a lot of hair. So if you have long hair, you can definitely wear one pack just add a pop of color, but if you want to use my cheap method definitely get two packs of hair, and it's really really really full. Here you can start to see more of the color and, like I said, I just wanted to bring some of that purple up a little bit and add more dimension to the violet color and the way that these extensions are made. The ombre effect really comes out when you curl the hair, so you can kind of see how it graduates from black down to the purple. So for the front of my hair, my aim is to just fill in all of the spots, so I kind of move the extensions around until it's a perfect fit and then once I'm done with that, whatever clips I have left, I just fill in any spaces Towards the back of my hair call me we're almost finished, I'm just going to blend my natural hair with the extensions and just comb it out brush it out just to blend it really really good, and here you can kind of see what I was saying about. The color distribution, you can kind of see it's not all the same level. So when you curl it you'll see that dimension in the hair, and also you guys this hair looks different inside than it does in sunlight and sunlight. It'S like a true purple and you can see all of the colors, but inside it looks a little bit deeper and in this video you can see the Sun starts to set, and then you can kind of see the hair getting deeper. Then I'm going to touch up my hair with the Bellamy Flatiron. This is the same Flatiron I used to curl the hair. Previously it comes in a set of like a lot of different curling wands and Hot Tools, so I would definitely recommend you get the set. If you need some Hot Tools and did I mention this - is second day hair, you can see how flowy it is, and I worked yesterday - and it looks just like news, so you definitely don't want to add any oils to this hair to keep it nice and Bouncy, I would just say, take really good care of it, like you, do your own hair with regular D conditions and make sure you wash it when it starts to get oily. So this is the finished look. Let me know what you think. I'M really loving the color I like that. I could have worn it in its original color and then I can customize it to bring out the different shades of purple in the hair. As you can see it still has. You can definitely still see some violent in there. Oh yeah, I just tuned it up and it looks so cute and I don't know if you guys can tell but they'll a really really really really flat, and this is two packs of clippings like if I were to put in a ponytail. You couldn't really tell the difference. Oh before I forget you guys, I did add exactly two pieces of the lavender color that I cut some colored. I just wanted some dimension and the lavender. Yet it's a very lightest color that it's through some purple dye on and yeah, that's best, a lavender that I added so just two pieces. I curl my hair versus oh and each wrought iron. I can do a demo for you guys really maybe quickly um, but yet you can curl your hair with a flat iron, since it's arm is going to show you guys. So you kind of like flip it away from your face. Just like you would with like a curling curling wand, but with the sweater like this, you cannot easily just slice through. Oh you guys, oh yeah. This is how I wore it and if you like comb it out, you can also get like really cute waves. I'M just going to do the other side there. So don't look crazy and I'm left-handed. So this side is all in here it's easier to curl, with your opposite hand like if I'm left-handed is either a court curl this. Why? Because it's in my left hand it works okay, so it can wear it like this. I really try to make this video as detailed as possible, so I hope you like it don't forget to give me a quick thumbs up. Im still learning how to take care of my natural hair so I have ventured into wearing wigs to protect it. I tried clips in before but I felt they were too heavy for my hair. but I didn't try them on braids tho. That braid hack was genius, I mite hv to give clips in a go again using that.
