My First Natural Hair Sew-In With Closure Protective Style |Hergivenhair|

Hey YouTube. Welcome back to, naturally, fellow I got some new hair. This hair is from a company called heard, given hair and in this video I'm gon na show you the unboxing co-washing sealing and installation of this hair. So if you are interested stay tuned, alright, let's begin with unboxing. So the hair comes in these really clutch black boxes with the company's logo on it. Her given hair, so the hair came in three separate boxes. Two boxes contained the hair that are requested and one was a sample kit. So when you open the box, this is how it looks like so you're getting the hair that you requested and you're also getting a booklet and in the booklet, you'll find information about installing styling, caring and maintaining the hair, all in one easy to read booklet. So that's pretty awesome so, on the actual hair you'll find your information, everything from your name to the product type to the texture and the length. So I got 18 inches three packs of 18 inch, curly hair plus a closure. So here I'm just unwrapping the hair, for you guys to see exactly how it looks like so as I unravel the hair, I realized it was pretty soft and it was also compacted. So I knew I was getting a lot of hair and here's. The closure and 18 inches of my first closure wish me luck, guys, uh. So then, I cut off these strands to open it up to see how much hair I was actually getting, and it was a great amount guys so you're getting a lot of hair for the amount of money you're spending on these. In addition, when the company says Co wash the hair before you install it, they really mean co-wash the hair, because the hair just smelled like packaged hair it had no fragrance to it, so we'll get to the co washing a bit later in the video alright. So here's the sample kit, the company sent me this - is actually really smart, because if you don't know what hair texture to get either kinky coily or curly, this is a great thing to invest in first, when you get these samples, you're, basically doing a pre usage Test, where you're using your fingers or a comb to break out the hair to see which one exactly matches your hair texture. So afterwards they should look something like this and from these three you should know which one matches so I'm definitely going with curly hair, because my hair texture is 3 C for a combination and that one works well, so hey guys it's time to crush it. So co washing I so I'm basically just going to follow the instructions on in the booklet. It says before install, so I'm basically going to follow what the book says. It says that I should quash using the deep treatment mask from Shea Moisture, but I'm gon na try coconut oil and Tresemme conditioner just see if that works, because that's what I'm used to with pre point so yeah, I'm just gon na take one unpack and to Begin, I'm just washing the hair, I'm just putting water through it actually and now I'm gon na put some coconut oil through its yeah. Just a bit of coconut oil, coconut oil. It was great at getting tangles out of hair guys, like natural hair, any type of hair use some coconut oil, so yeah, I'm just going to run that through the hair and then after that, I'm going to put some of the Tresemme conditioner through it. You can use Tresemme naturals um. I hope that destroys. My natural, I think, is trust. Amane, nourishing luminous, alright I'll put in the description box guys but yeah. So I'm just going to put that through the hair. I'M just gon na run my hands through it and afterwards I'm just gon na wash it out and guys. It felt extremely good like that is a great uncle wash alternative. If you don't have Shea moistures deep treatment mask alright. So afterwards I put some leave-in conditioner through the hair, then clipped it onto a clothes hanger and set it out to air dry. So here's the closure after the closure, I'm going to use Shea moistures deep treatment mask so I'm going to put some water through it and guys this company was right about the deep treatment mask it just landed so well. So this is a great product for this hair. Honestly, it's a go, wash look how that glides and the hair just elongate after you co wash it so, and then you really see that curl, better, so yeah, it's amazing and so leave a condition that I'm going to set the hair out to dry. I just wanted to show you guys how beautiful the curl pattern is on this hair. That bat is just simply amazing. So, after washing all three bundles, I noticed that the company actually sent me kinky, coily and curly hair. As you can see, this curl pattern is a lot looser, so yeah guys. If this ever happens to you, make sure you contact the company and get it switched immediately, but I've worked with it. So here's our machete, I got from all the hair, not bad. For three packs - and I must say, the kinky bundle shed the most so we're up to sealing I'm using salon pros weft sealer, so you have to do, is lay out the hair once it's dry and on the weft just run this glue through it. This is going to guarantee longevity and make sure that the hair doesn't shed as much because you're literally sealing the hair onto the weft. Alright guys install so here's the braid pattern that hairstyle is Shauna used and we also put on a net for extra protection. She also left out a little bit of my natural hair and the perimeter just for better blending once she puts the closure on - and this is my first closure guys. Oh, my goodness, I was so high and she also loved the feel of the hair. She was telling me that the hair was actually like some pretty good hair, pretty good natural, looking hair the best that she's ever also that made me feel pretty good about the company. How long should people use leave Solon's, for you can get it at like three notes? If you want, because you're not long the 18 inch length is a great length when you don't want the hair too long or too short, oh nice guys this closure was so bomb. So I thought we thought we're just gon na use two packs, but she ended up using two and a half packs plus a closure, so that just goes to show how big my head is to reiterate. This here is 18 inches and that's 18 inches when stretched straight. I personally think this is a great length to start with and I actually cut some as well, because I didn't want it too long, but refer to a limb chart on the website for more information.
