Hey guys, it's aisling in today's video we are going to be trying a new treatment on my hair. I have seen so much about this. You guys have asked me several times to try it, so i finally made the purchase and i got k18. If you have not heard of this, it is like a newer product. I think it came out like this year or last year and it has been all over the internet. I have seen so many ads for this i've seen so many articles and reviews about how amazing this is it's like a miracle serum product. It makes your hair feel absolutely incredible, so i went ahead and bought it and i really really hope it works because it was very expensive. It was like 75 dollars for this little tiny thing. 75. Oh my heart! I can't handle it this better work. That'S all! I got to say [ __ ], you better work, so i did a color remover on my hair not too long ago. I'Ve had these extensions. For months now my hair has been through hell. It definitely needs a treatment if anybody's hair needs a little treatment and revival it's mine, so we're going to try this today. As you can see, my hair is lighter than the last time you guys saw me. I'Ve just been washing it like normal um. Let me read about this product: real, quick, k18 biometric hair science, leave-in molecular repair, hair mask so there's the front of the packaging i'm gon na rotate it so you guys can see here are the ingredients and stuff, and here is how it's supposed to work. Okay, so it says 10 years of bioscience research, one breakthrough peptide patented k18 is not just a temporary fix. It'S the first product to utilize biometrics, to reconnect keratin chains once broken by bleach, color and chemical services, resulting in soft, smooth, strong hair with a bounce that feels like new the more damage, the hair, the more dramatic the results, [ __ ], we're gon na have Some dramatic-ass results today because you guys know my hair is gummy. It is so damaged. It has been through hell, so we're about to see one hell of a transformation today, all right. So let me read the instructions. It says. Usage shampoo do not condition towel dry, thoroughly begin with one pump, k18 mask and add more as needed, depending on length, thickness and condition work evenly into hair from ends to roots one pump at a time. Let sit for four minutes to activate: do not rinse out style, as usual use for the first four to six washes and then every three to four washes as needed cool. So i am going to go wash my hair, really quick, not use conditioner, and i will be right back so we can go ahead and dive into this mask. I am back, i washed my hair and i washed it with a clarifying shampoo from vanilla. I wanted to make sure to strip off any other product or any chemicals or anything i had on my hair. So that way this can do the best job it possibly can. So i just used a clarifying shampoo shampooed, my hair really really good and thoroughly. Now we are going to brush out my hair and try the product i'm going. To be honest, i don't have a lot of faith in the product. I'M sure it'll make my hair feel a little bit better, but i don't know like when products claim to like completely repair the damage you've done. I'M like you're losing me a little bit because i don't think that's possible. Like yeah, i can mask the damage and make your hair feel better, but as far as like fixing the hair, it seems a little sus to me. What do you guys think? I have not watched any other videos on people trying this, so i am not sure if it's going to work well, i've obviously seen like um ads and stuff where people say it works well, but those are ads. So my hair feels dry because obviously i just shampooed it using clarifying shampoo. I did not use any conditioner or anything like that, so my hair is feeling pretty dry. Okay, let's open up the product and see what we're working with this is biometric hair science and it heals hair in just four minutes. That'S what the inside of the packaging says 75 for this hair mask okay begin with one pump, add more as needed depending on length and thickness, and it says start from the bottom. I'M curious about the smell too. Okay ready! Oh that's one pump! That'S not very much, i'm gon na need way more than one did you see that that's like five dollars? I just shot on the [ __ ] floor right there, okay, we're gon na start with this amount. Let'S smell it! Hmm, it smells really good. It honestly smells amazing, i'm kind of starting, oh you guys hold up. I literally just put this on this little section right here and my hair feels incredible: i'm not no cat, i'm not joking! This hair right here - wow, yes, okay, i'm just gon na go in, because i really want this all over my hair. My hair feels so good. What the heck my mind is literally blown right now that wasn't even very much product at all. That was like two pumps, and this whole side of my head now feels very soft, very smooth. It smells so good like the comparison between these bangs right here. Like this front part of my hair and this side, i'm i'm a little speechless. Okay, we're gon na go in with okay, so that's one true pump once you get it going, i'm gon na go in with two pumps for this side of my head. Also, i'm gon na start with these front pieces because it's my actual hair this. This is insane this product does smell very familiar. I feel like when i worked in the salon. There was something that smelled similar to this, and i just can't remember what it is, but i do like the smell. It'S like a fresh. It just kind of smells like fresh and clean and really nice wow. I am really really impressed with how my hair feels i am going to blow dry my hair today. Normally i don't like to blow dry my hair, just because i already damage it. So many other ways i don't like to blow dry it, but i am going to do that today just to like really test this product. It says style as normal, so i am going to blow dry and use some hot tools on my hair. I just added a couple more pumps to my hand, and i am running it through here. I want to make sure i get my natural hair, because obviously i do have sewn extensions and i'm not really as worried about the health of my sew-ins as i am about my actual hair. This also doesn't say to use with all of your normal hair care products, so i am not going to i'm just going to stick with this and that's it i'm not going to use any other hair products. I honestly feel like my hair is pretty saturated. I might do like one more pump after you get the pump going. There is actually quite a lot of product and i feel like this goes a long way like. I really do feel like it's distributing really nicely throughout my hair. I want to make sure i get my natural hair really good. I can't believe how good this made my hair feel. We'Ve got my hair, good, saturated and coated. I am going to brush through it one more time just to try and disperse the product evenly throughout. My hair, but it does feel a lot smoother a lot more silky. I'M excited to see what it looks like blow: dried and straightened. Okay, i'm going to go blow dry, my hair and straighten it and i'll be back to show you the finished result and we'll see if i feel a difference and if it looks smoother we'll see it feels really nice right now, but i'm still a little skeptic About blow drying it i feel like if you let your hair air dry, you would probably see the biggest result when i let my hair air dry, it feels a lot better than when i blow dry it, but we're really going to test the product today. So let me go style, my hair, and hopefully this makes my hair feel like a million bucks i'll be back okay, i am back. I blow dried, my hair and i straightened it. The only other product i used was a heat protectant. I didn't want to straighten my hair without using a heat protectant. I didn't know if there was one in the k18 product, so i just went ahead and used my normal heat protectant spray, just to make sure final thoughts. I do think it did something to my hair. It feels a lot softer and i do feel like my hair blow dried quicker than it normally does, and it definitely does feel super super soft and silky. I don't know if you guys will be able to tell on camera, but it does have like shine to it. It feels stronger. It feels healthier. I feel like you could tell. The product was working more when my hair was wet versus once it's blow dried and dry. I do feel like. I will be able to tell more if i just let my hair air dry blow drying. It is just so harsh on my hair and it always makes my hair like really frizzy and really poofy and stuff like that, and it takes all the moisture out. So i'm definitely gon na keep using this for the next four to six washes and then i'm just gon na. Let my hair air dry and see how it works, because i feel like if you just let your hair air dry, it would feel absolutely amazing and you'd probably be able to feel more of those benefits. The only problem is the price. It is really expensive and i just feel like there's no need to charge 75 for a container this small - i don't know in my mind, i feel like that's really really ridiculous - to charge that much money for 1.7 fluid ounces 75 for 1.5. Fluid ounces like that is a lot of money that is just so much money. If your hair is super, super super damaged and falling out, then i would say give it a try, but if your hair isn't super super damaged, i don't really feel like. 75 is worth it, but if your hair is severely damaged, like mine was maybe try it. If you have the extra money, you know, that's the only ketchup i have if this was like 25 i'd be like [, __ ] go get yourself some, because this is amazing but 75 dollars for 1.7. Fluid ounces rubs me the wrong way a little bit. You know what i'm saying it does work made. My hair feel better and i will definitely continue to use it. I guess, if you have the extra money, it is a good product to have. If you don't have the extra money, i would maybe try finding something similar, i'm sure they offer something relatively similar at sally beauty. If you guys have any suggestions for products similar to this but are cheaper, please leave them in the description down below. Not everybody can afford 75 for less than two fluid ounces of product for your hair, so i'm sure there's a lot of people out there. That cannot afford that. So if you do have a good dupe for this, please leave it in the comments down below and help everybody else out. I will definitely continue to use this and i will update you guys in future videos on how this works and if i felt a significant difference to my hair, i feel like my natural hair is where i will feel the biggest difference, because this has just been Through so much so, i'm excited to keep using this and let my hair air dry naturally and really see how it feels after that that is all for today's video. I hope you guys enjoyed it. Don'T forget to check out my instagram. The link to that is in the description down below i post way more of my everyday life on there give the video a thumbs up. If you enjoyed it, i love you guys so much and until next time guys stay weird goodbye, [ Applause, ], [ Applause, ], my

Michelle Hopkins: Yesss, a follow-up is DEF needed!!! As soon as you showed the "after" when it was blowdried, I noticed the shine RIGHT away! $75 is ridiculously expensive!!! I love how that turned out. Still loving the hair colour!!!❤❤

Derpina: I’m coming up to my 6th wash with this, can’t believe how much better condition my hair is, if you’re undecided on dropping the cash on this, this is your sign, buy it you won’t regret it!

Aimée van Dijk: I'd love to see a follow up on the mid to long term results of this treatment. Thank you for your great, honest review

Hellur Goodbur: Hey Aislinn, I have a cool video idea. I'm obsessed with the northern lights so I googled 'northern lights hair' and there were a bunch of amazing colours. Maybe you could try that style of hair one day. Love you!

whamakesubeautiful: that orange is fading so beautifully!

BeckyBooBish: The orange from the last video looked so nice! But the color after you washed it is extremely beautiful. The yellow with a slight orange color looks so good one you! And I agree 100% with you $75 is a but thank you for testing and giving your opinion

Alex Ravella: DUDe, I bought this stuff from y hairdresser and it is LIFE. My hair was destroyed from me bleaching it myself and this stuff has saved my hair. All my friends want it now. Expensive but SO worth it. You can get it cheaper if you have a license.

Ashley Cherry: L’anza healing treatment! It’s about half the price of what you used - and you can get a travel size for around $15 or less to try it out before you purchase the full size.

Megan Cooley: That makeup is fantastic! I love how honest you are about this product and its price point - thank you!

Kirby Louise: Hey Aisling, fellow heavily processed hair girl from Australia I’ve been using K18 in my hair for close to 6 months now, I was a model for the product when it was released here in Australia. The rep recommends adding a spray of water to the product and lather up before putting on your hair you shouldn’t need anymore then 2 pumps with your extensions I’m still on my first bottle also! I still use heat protection afterwards but that’s it my hairs back to growing like crazy

Ashley Whitlow: The best hack people don’t know about this product is after you apply and wait the 4 min, you use your normal hair mask/conditioner. It adds the moisture. Heavenly!

Alison Hughes: You cracked me up! Did u see that! That’s like five dollars I’ve just chucked on the fuxkin floor love it aislinn xxxx

kitty Cruz: I love how the orange fade like a honey blonde hair

drink z coffee: Kerastase has an overnight repair that works wonders. It's kinda pricey but well worth it. One or two pumps on my thick curly hair and in the morning it's soft and much more manageable. Great for 2nd or 3rd day hair.

CashAveory: I can really recommend Shu Uemura, essence absolue oil! I don’t know if it’s available in the US but have a look if you can order it online. It’s the best thing I’ve tried and I’ve tried EVERYTHING

Ant: I'm so obsessed with this color on you . I no you are more of a rainbow girl but this suits you as well

Jessica: you can get smaller sizes of this! i’m thinking about trying it ☺️

Kendal Carver: Could you possibly do a hair update video on the K18 to get a full review and what you think please

KellyJelly9976: Hmm I'll stick with Aphogee products at Sally's. 2 step protein treatment, keratin restructuring spray, 2 min keratin treatment, or texture treatment. They're all good.

Sarah Thomas: Yyeessss so glad you did this! K 18 has been catching my eye but I just can't justify $75. I would love a follow up vid :) ❤ love the color!! The fade out is gorgeous

Rose M: Your hair looks gorgeous and shiny. Altogether I think you used 7 pumps. Do you think you needed that many? At that rate and for the price, you’ll use it up quickly.

Bridgette Chapman: So im actually more curious about the shampoo you used to get your hair to fade that much in one wash! Would you say it strips faster than head n shoulders?

lacy anderson: Currently trying to get splat original formula out of my hair to do split dye. I'm definitely going to get this because my hair is going to be rough after this.

Lisa Edwards: I'd love to see you use the full olaplex system Beautiful as always ❤

Lilly R: That orange looks so nice!

j m: How the hell are you washing your hair and not even remotely fucking up your make-up? That's talent right there! <3

Ana Aguilar: I literally went and bought this after the video was over. They have afterpay Can't wait to try it out!!

Nikki M: Aw man it costs like $95 in Australia fml I love that you don’t have to rinse it out!

Ylva Nilsson: Just some advice, you are using a bit too much i believe. They have charts that help you determine how many pumps are needed for your hair length and I think for you they recommend like 3-4. It's not supposed to be over saturated works better in small amounts. Try it if you'd like! I loved the video, i think your hair looked amazing!

NikoNiko Nii: I’d like to see you try the fanola bond connector sealing cream - it comes in a bottle and in a tub (the tub is 1000ml and is currently $35 on Amazon - super sad bc when I bought it it was like 60. The tub lasts a long time - it’s been almost a year and I’m still not halfway through.) it’s an in shower treatment and really helped my hair when it was falling out bc of over-processing (my fault), so it would be really cool to see you try it!

Sofija Ljubic: Hi, I used Aussie 3 minute miracle deep conditioner it had similar results it made my 3 year bleached hair silky and so soft, and it is not expensive I think it was $9 for 8oz. It is more like conditioner, you have to wash it off but I really recommend it!

Mandi Toon: I have always wanted to try copper with my brown eyes I love the colour X

Elida: The amount of times Joico K Pak has saved my hair

Jennifer Graetz: Hah, I was literally thinking. OMG that was 5bugs she just lost when it dropped on the floor. Right before you said it.

spider liker: Yay now I have something to watch while my hair processes! The contacts look gorgeous on you.

Neko :3: Could you try out keraphlex ? It's like a dupe for Olaplex

Zoe: Haven't even finished watching yet but had to take a second to say damn this makeup though! Your makeup is always amazing but something about this look is just wow! A little different and I love it.

Lethal Nova: This is a ridiculously freaking gorgeous hair color on you!!

Cassie Russell: You having a moment about the price is so me LMAO

ashley jinxx: your hair reminds me of a sunflower and it brightend my mood! the color really suits you as does all your hair colors!

Samantha Wrench: I'm loving the fade out of that orange. Beautiful like a sunflower xxx

Stephanie Gammon: Thats like 5$ that just shot on the floor my thought exactly lol

Shelby Roberson: I love your videos , especially when you don't follow the directions says use one pumps and continue to work in the tips and then Move up and you immediately start using more and start at the root . I love it

Linzzz: The color your hair is at the end of the video is like golden silk, just an amazing fadeout so far

CrownErie: I sometimes use Ion Reparative Leave In Spray. I found that it makes my hair feel really soft and looks so nice. I just do my normal shampoo & condition. then after i get out the shower, i spray it on my hair, and massage it in. x3

Sharki V: I can tell just by looking at your hair through your camera that it looks like the product helped a lot! That's insane

Edward Goldstein: Im curious to know how it compares to the Aphogee protein treatment. I use that and it works amazingly well.

Toni Allan: I am soooooo excited you have tried this! ♡ thank you Aislin!!

Chardai Everett: The fade out color is stunning! You look radiant ❤️

Meghan Walker: we use this at my salon and it's amazing!

Joey: You used way more than I do (I was scared about making it sticky, the instructions kind of warn against too much) and I’m wondering if I should use more. I suspect I may get a better result with more pumps. I also use the K-18 spray when I bleach my roots.

Lili Rubrecht: Literally looked for a review video from you on this product this morning and said oh wel ill try anyway

Elliebelliewatermellie: Sooooo I just recently fried my hair from an iron and I swear to god I needed this. Can’t wait to try ! Hit the link and added to cart Thank you !!!

StargazingDragon: Sally has a a product called Ion Repair renewing night creme. You put it on at night then style as normal. The ingredients are very similar. It's around $7 last time I checked. The one thing I don't care for about it is the consistency/texture of the product but it works

Christina DeKing: Did you buy this with your license? I’m a licensed hairstylist too so I’m curious to see how much it is for us.

JJ: I'm a junior hairdresser and we do k18 in my salon all the time! It really works but often makes hair feeling stiff

vickytime: Wow, you're spoiling us with all these uploads!

Stacey Leonard: Yessssssss Queen your hair looks alot better . Be safe and have a wonderful week love you guys

Christina Burgos: I can’t when it shot out at the floor you took the words out of my mouth!!

Angel Johnson: That orange looks so much prettier now versus when you first did it. I actually love it now!

Gabriella: The gold hair color after you finished shampooing looks amazing on you

Shaynayner: Price is a bit of a sticker shock but they added travel and trial sizes too, to see if its right for you. So I'll probably be grabbing one of those.

Agnieszka Spruś: I love the Fall look✨

Jennifer Holliday: I can attest to this stuff. It is LEGIT! I use the spray for pre services and the cream for after but it is amazing. I hope they come out with additional products. Olaplex is amazing but I am allergic to some of the ingredients so I can't use it

Marianne Scarfe: Sounds expensive but what I spend on conditioner, masks and hair treatments is probably more than this product!! I would scrape that squirt off the floor though

Maddie Bodendorf: leak the ingredients for this i always make a flax seed gel for after i bleach my roots and it makes my hair feel soooo much better

Dalena Mullins: Girl I’d be scraping that off the floor and using it!

Charlotte Thien: Your hair looks very silky. Something in the products helped a whole lot . By the way, are you for sure going to tattoo your face ? Not being critical, but you have such a gorgeous face and skin , as is

Shayyume: Okay but you with yellow hair is perfection <3 like... it's matching your chest tattoo!! and the brown eyes/lip combo <333 obsessed

bran: 4:42 when i watched that i instantly thought "that's atleast £5 thats gone on the floor"

L I V: That yellow is making me crave that buttercup yellow hair again, it's beaaaautiful.

Mary McIntyre FRAS: This looks amazing! I recently started using the Revolution Plex range which is much more affordable and I find that makes a big difference to how my hair looks and feels. I buy the pack of four products which contain an bond building pre-treatment, shampoo, condition and styling cream. You don't need much of any of them and my hair loves it. I think I paid £28 (UK money) for the four products but I've had them for ages and still only half gone. I think it's their "dupe" for Olaplex but I've never been able to afford that so I can't compare

Blake Sanders: Your hair is beautiful, I hope you make videos forever

e m: Just got out of a mental institution and just want to say thank you your YouTube videos are my solace

Vânia Lícia: You can apply k18 for like 20min, rinse it after and use a mask or a conditioner!! Your hair will feel and look amazing!!

Amanda Pointer: Im loving how that orange has faded. You rock it!

James W: I think the price is reflective of what’s in it I use a lip balm from dermalogica that’s £25 and there’s only 1.75ml. That has peptides in it too. Also this product you’re using comes in different sizes with different price points

crystal raffety: i use Garnier fructose moroccan sleek oil treatment on my hair and also on my daughter's bleached damaged hair and it has helped so so so much!!! and its like 6 bucks and a lil goes a long way

Maci G: you inspired me to dye my hair copper

Possa86: Almost spat my coffee out with the $5 worth of product sprayed out comment.

αndrσmєdα: THIS orange looks BOMB on you!!

no name: I love how you do ur makeup recently

Cali Meche: Question do you ever have hair breakage from doing your roots? I tried my best to keep from over lapping but some of my hair broke off

LexxDoThis: Have you ever tried Olaplex, like the entire system? I've heard that's pretty amazing stuff. If you haven't tried it, can you?!

Viva Petersdotter: I love that K18! I could marry my hairdresser for introducing me to it. Hope you love it also! ❤️‍❤️‍

evie yukihara: This sounds like olaplexs bond smoother which allows you to conditioner your hair (I can't imagine going without conditioner and only leave in conditioner.) So maybe just get that at least thats only $28 for idk like 4 Oz? Maybe 8 I don't remember

ashley duckworth: Wow seems like this is a great product

Morissa Duke: You really rock this yellow hair lol. Your makeup and skin tone are just *chef's kiss*

fadingstarlight: You can buy 2 smaller sizes of K18. The travel size is 5ml and it's like 12$.

alice.in.wonderwall: Love from Italy

cassidy: This product cost $135 in New Zealand! So much!

Em Jacobs Tattoo: $5 of product shoots across the room made me lol

Kelly: I looooove these contacts on you

Allison Mcgee: If you have your cosmetology license you can register and get the bigger size for only $50

MeechnPeaches: They claim they are the first ones with this technology but it sounds a hell of a lot like olaplex to me. I definitely believe products that have the technology to repair the bonds in your hair, like olaplex does, actually do work. My hair is proof of that. 2 years ago I had a double process bleach to remove the mahogany brown color I'd been dyeing my hair for years and it super compromised my hair. My hair felt crunchy near the top of my head, which I just thought was hair spray from being styled, I spritzed it with water and when the hair got wet it just wiggled up on its own, was so strange seeing my hair wiggle up like a worm, turns out that crunchy feeling was all the fried ends of my new shorter hairs growing in. So I immediately did an olaplex treatment and left it on overnight. When my hair was wet it felt super gummy and looked like ramen noodles. After about 4 or 5 olaplex treatments over the next couple of weeks and lots of deep conditioning, my hair finally felt normal again. It totally saved my hair. So I definitely believe they can work, but I just can't see spending 75 dollars on such a small amount of product, nope nope nope. I'll stick with Olaplex.

Litenen: This keep pooping up on my fb and I have been sooo on the fence with it. That price is insane and I just don't wanna splurge on something that may not work.

leslieann: Wow your hair looks so much smoother and shinier but that price tag

Jay Jewell: Honestly $75 is WILD for such a small amount. You can get a gallon of olaplex for cheaper I usually use olaplex bond repair and leave in treatment (along with my other hair care products) and the difference in my hair is amazing

Susiie Escobedo: Your neck tattoos are beautiful
