All right, y'all, so y'all know i like to get straight to the point. Today i did a traditional sew-in on one of my oldest clients and i like to start in the back right in the corner, where the um, the braids meet um, just to fill in any gaps or spaces, so that the weave can really lay flat. And i normally don't cut my weft that many times until i get about here and when i get about here, i might cut the weft so that i can um have a really flat front when i pull it in the ponytail or pull it back. It will really lay flat um on the on the shorter side of the sew-in. I really like to um gradually take my tracks higher and higher until i get to the top point and i'm always sewing in a u-shape, because that's the direction that the head flows now that i'm finished with the sew-in i'm going to mold the um leave out And this is my favorite thing to do. I love nairobi, wrap foam, which i have the link in my description box. I love this wrap foam. I use it to do short haircuts and i use it to mold my edges and my leave out when i'm doing basic sew-ins, and i stick my client under the dryer and when i take them out i'll flat on it when it's completely dry. It works as a heat protectant and it really smooths any texture. It doesn't matter if you have 4c here it will smooth your hair into the um, the bundle. Now i don't be looking at people's phone, but this is the hairstyle that she chose as her inspiration photo now it's time to get the cutting. So i like to cut my bobs into a zero degree haircut, meaning all the way all the hair needs to be pressed against their shoulders, their skin and um. If you license, you know what a zero you should know, what a zero degree haircut is. But now i like to go in my razor comb and just cut it from the side and on the top i like to take a lot of the weight out, especially when it's a ball, because i really really want the hair to flow. So there's no real direction that i'm taking, except the fact that i want a little bit of layers, because the hair picture that she showed me the girl had like layers and the front was a little bit shorter and it looked really natural. So i'm going to give my client a lot of like short layers in the back and on the front, and i'm going to take a lot of weight out so that the hair can really float and it doesn't look bulky. It could look really natural. Now, before i curl any hairstyle, i like to press the hair out really really straight because it just stretches the hair to its max and also when the hair, the curls start to fall. It won't leave like dense or have like a weird curl pattern to it. So i like to start on a straight canvas and then i start my styling now that her hair is all straight. I'M just gon na clean up whatever um loose ends or clean up the haircut just so that um, if it's ever full straight it'll, have like a nice style to it. For this look, i'm just doing like loose big curls kind of to make it look like a washing set style, but i'm just keeping the curls really big and i'm not making them too small, because if this, the smaller i make the curl the bigger the hair, Will be - and i don't want it to look too big - i just want it to be like curly enough that you see a curl, but it's not like doing a lot. I love to rip the cape with my client. She loved the final look and i love the final look. It really depicted the hairstyle um if you like, more content like this just write down in the description box. Let me know what you want me to do. What you want to see um, if you want to see more of me in the salon or behind the scenes for the nairobi, rap foam, just click the link in the description box. Thanks for watching, see you next time.
