Hello, everyone and welcome to my channel. My name is malika, and this channel is all about travel experiencing the world and tips for living abroad. As an expat, my first time moving abroad, i moved to italy by myself for school and ended up getting a fashion job in milan fast forward. Several years later, my husband and i just moved to beirut, lebanon. I can't wait to share more about that. Our move and our experience living here so please check out this channel and subscribe for more about expat life and living in beirut. My husband and i just had our destination wedding in france a few weeks ago, and it was incredible i'll, probably do a video all about our destination wedding planning journey, all the planning postponing covet drama everything we had to deal with on that journey, but today we're Talking about how i solved one very big, bridal problem, while living in lebanon and getting married in france, which was my hair, you guys know black women do not play about their hair in general, but especially not around our weddings. We got married in saint germain, a tiny village in the heart of french wine country, and it was just incredible, but i knew through the entire planning process my odds of finding a hairstyle, so i could do natural hair were non-existent and after moving to beirut, i Just really did not want to experiment with the hair styling scene, this close to the wedding, so i decided my best bet was to find a black salon in paris and get my weave installed a few days before the wedding. That way, the hard part would be done and i could just touch up the curls and do my own wedding updo on the actual big day. So i was researching on google and i messaged several black influencers in paris to ask them where they got their hair. Done and find out recommendations and ibe salon kept coming up, so i decided to go there. The owner, nicole pembrook, is actually a black american, so i thought i'd be in great hands in her salon. Keep watching for more about my salon, experience in paris and at the end of the video i'll talk about the cost, maintenance and differences. I noticed from french lawn versus black american salons darling. You send me, i know you darling, calling you send me, you send me calling you send you, you send me um uh, um, uh, um, uh, okay, so here's another update on this hair. This is freshly washed, like straight out of the shower um today's wednesday. So i do swimming on wednesdays. Usually i usually use me like twice a week, um always wednesday and then sometimes like sunday or like whatever, depending on my schedule. But this is the texture. I'M just gon na come in close up um freshly washed out of the shower. I just like a quick, wash um, some deep conditioning and then i put on these two products. This is the camille rose. Yeah camille rose, naturals, curl, milk, um, curl, love, moisture milk. So i just put like that on for moisture, and then this is some mousse. This is like the icy hair, polisher styling foam like the classic views and lawn brand beauty store brand um, and it's kind of scrunch that in and then just this is just how it looks so. Super cute super super natural um and you can see up here. I don't have time to like fix the closure, because we're going out for um drinks really quickly, so i'm going to just go with it wet kind of like bojob, whatever it's casual um and i'm just gon na, like i just took like this little tiny one. Little baby here and just like flopped it over because here you can see the closures like lifting, so i just put that down just to like hide it um, just because i don't have time to like gel it or anything um and i think that'll work like Really, naturally, it just looks like it has that kind of effortless like rolled out of bed yeah just got the showers finished swimming yeah. I just finished my workout and just came here kind of look, so that's we're going for. I think it works really. Well, i'm going to show you this again when it's dried um at the end of the video but yeah. I just wanted to show you guys that updated the hair texture and how i have been maintaining it, and then this is what i look like in the morning with dry hair. I just like put it in two little buns. While it was damp and then here we go natural, curl pattern um, this is the closure which i laid down. Just with like a little bit of my adhesive hairspray um, i was going to show you, but i put it away. I don't know where i put it, but yeah, so it looks pretty good. It looks natural. I think i love it. The bushy vibes it's just like great, so i just obsessed over this hair texture um. I don't even really straighten it. A lot like i just did for the wedding um, because it was easier like when traveling and doing my updo and all that but yeah. This is basically it so, as you can see they killed it. I also love the attention they gave my own natural hair, the shampoo steam treatment and trim to keep my hair healthy under the protective style. The braids were not tight at all. They respected my edges and i love the way they installed the closure without all the extra that we do at home. So there was no bold hold, there's no excessive baby hairs, no bleaching, like none of that stuff, that we do that. We think, makes our closures and funnels look more natural, but it really just looks like you're trying to hide your lace. All they used was a firm hold hairspray, which i've actually never seen before, but i'll put a photo of it on the screen and a link in the description box. If i can find one um as far as the cost, they charged 300 euros for the complete service, which was the trim, the wash the steam treatment, the like styling everything all in like there was no nickel and diming. There was no excess charges. No, like last minute additions on the bill: just 300 euro totally fat rate, and so far it's held up really perfectly no crusts, no flakes no weird stuff. So i'm super happy with the service. I'M really not sure how i'm gon na match my natural hair while living in lebanon, but i may just make a quarterly trip to paris to get my weave installed done there. So thank you so much for watching. If you like this video go ahead and give it a thumbs up and save it or share it, if you're into your friends or planning a trip to paris and maybe to get your hair done along the way um and, like i said this - is a new Channel i'm an american expert living here in beirut. HollywoodCole: ...you might as well buy some good quality wigs . For the price of flying to another country and paying for an appointment, that money can go towards a quality lace wig and you'll be able to properly wash your hair underneath. There are some good "black female owned" wig spots in London...and some in Paris as well. no more stress ;-)

viva mi patri mr: So beautifull !!!
