Hey YouTube: it's your girl Rachel, and this is a quick weave tutorial. This is the first time that I've ever done, one so bear with me, but I think it turned out perfect. Anyway, you see, I have sectioned off my hair in the middle, so I can have a middle part with leave out and also I decided to leave out my edges for a more realistic look and also to protect them right now. I am molding my hair with that good ole, old-school and pro gel, so I'm just molding it right now, I'm combing it straight back. This is pretty easy for me, because my hair is all ready short now. I am adding some wrapping paper just so I can sit under the dryer for about 20 minutes, so the mold can Harden now. I am putting on a generous amount of the protective shield and I'm just using one of those coloring brushes just so I can have an easier application and you want to be pretty generous with this, so you have a decent, protective layer on your hair, and this Is for not getting glue on your hair? It got a little messy, but it easily cleaned up. One more protective layer for myself is a stocking cap. This is optional. You don't have to use it on to the hair, so I am now gluing the tracks. I'Ve already measured. Basically, you just measure the piece and before you put the glue on, of course, and you cut it to your liking, and I decided to put two pieces like this: going all the way up to the leave out just so when the wind blows. My hair, it looks like it's all, blended, there's, no secret tracks showing or anything like that, and you will see that later on the video. So after I do the two tracks like that, I just go back and forth back and forth. If I cut and measure and add the glue all the way up until the end and it's fairly easy, it's kind of hard, some people think it's hard because you can't see the back of your head, but you just feel for it see where you laid the Last one you can always move it if it doesn't turn out the way you want it to be so now, I'm just closing up the gap and getting all the way. As close as I can to my leave out, I am all finished so now I am getting ready to blend my leave out into my extensions I like to add to glue tracks for blending purposes only it kind of just helps, because you can see clearly my Hair is not as long as the extension here, but I would like to create the illusion as if you cannot tell that this is not really my hair, so I just glue in two equally sized tracks on two opposite sides, as you can see here. Just for blending purposes of my leave out, so it can look much neater. So I am completely finished and I'm just going to show you how look how it blended easily. This really doesn't have to be a long process. But for me, because it was my first time doing doing it on myself and then, of course I was watching TV eating dinner and I would stop so. It took me a while, but this is basically the final look. This is the very next day and I'm getting ready for work, so I just flat iron, my hair, a little bit wear the scarf and the bonnet might have left a dent in my hair and that's pretty much it hey YouTube. Is your girl, Rachel and I'm coming by just to share with the final look of my hair if you're at this point, you have watched the entire tutorial, I tried to be as clear as possible, and hopefully this video isn't SuperDuper. So I decided to do my own quick weave. I just wanted to try it out see if I can do it on myself. I got some new hair from elite lense calm. I will definitely leave their information down below my review. Video will be coming up very soon and I'm wearing the Indian yaki straight hair. If you were interested, I have four bundles to 20 into 18. So right now, I'm just going to go over the products that I use, that you can pick up from your local beauty supply store and what are the purposes of the products that I you. First and foremost, my hair was freshly washed and it air dry a little bit, and I put coconut oil and some different, a few different oils that I normally put on my hair just so it could be more so. I molded my hair with an Pro pro style, gel and said under my dryer for about 20 minutes, so it hardened after that. I used the Robert Diamond bond protective shield and this is basically to protect your hair and scalp glue. Never touches your natural hair and you should put a pretty decent amount of this on is thick and it's sticky and it's supposed to come off with just water and shampoo and all that stuff. So when you take the unit off, it should all come off together and I decided of course this is not the same color I used in the video, but I decided to put a stocking cap on to also protect my hair from glue. Although blue and me I don't have a big issue with glue, because I know how get hair glue out of my hair without removing my own natural hair. But I also put a stocking cap that you saw in the big end to glue the tracks on. Of course, hair glue - very, very simple, so that's about it, so I just wanted you to see the end results you saw in the video where I left my leave out. So I have a middle part. With this install, I decided to leave my edges out so when the wind blows you like, oh you got some Indian hair and I'm just kidding when the wind blows BAM. You have no idea, you can't see where the cap is or anything like that yeah. So if you're wondering yeah, I do have gray hair and you can see that's basically where my hair stops and the extension here is there um. I think the blending that I did works very well. It looks very neat, so let me know what you think thumbs up for more tutorials. If you like tutorials, I will have some different curling options that I'm going to be doing very soon and, of course, my review on this Indian yaki stray hair from elite glimpse. Will be coming up soon and I just want to say thank you guys for watching and I'll check the guys out soon on my next video

Antoila80: Thank you for this tutorial! It is so well presented that I think I can do this on my own natural hair with my own natural/curly extensions. All I need to buy are the cap, glue and protector! You look beautiful. (PS: I also have a strand or two of long gray hair right up front, yet I'm only in my 30's! I'm the only one in my family/friends circle so seeing you rock it so proudly is very encouraging. Especially because you look really young. Thank you again!)

Natasha Majasi: This was a very helpful video, but I have a few questions if you don't mind. Did you put the cap on while the protective gel was still wet? or did you add another layer of the prostyle gel on top of it to keep it in tact? btw how long did it take you to install? TMKJG24: you go Rachel lol i love quick weave thinks its about time to get me one nice job for your first try

afrikahchick: For your first time, you did a great job. I was cringing at you using expensive hair for a quick weave. Lol but your hair looks gorgeous.  Good job. ☺

Arilya: Great job!  Love it!  I'm new to this.  How do you get the cap to stick to hair?  Especially in the u-shaped cut area?

Thea Woody: I like tge way it came out, looks really good, nice and flat. I wanted to do a quick weave use the molding method with the same products, but I used tht method on an invisible part first to try it out an when my head stared to itch, it was hard to scratch my head cause the area of the invisible part was very hard. If you have or had this experience , how did you manage it cause I like the method cause its quick an easy

Esha Lord: Lovvvvve it I have watched different videos for about 2hrs and yours was the best. I'm to do my hair now thank you! XoXo

Carol Shivers: The main reason I like this video, aside from your hairstyle, is the fact that you didn't spend a lot of time talking. I cannot stand that. Some people talk too much and I become uninterested very quickly. You were perfect.

Kemnede Wu: you did a great job !!!

Bianca Larkins: I love the way you did your tutorial

Melanie Brodie: Super helpful!

LaTasha H: This looks great! How did you get the cap to stay on after you cut it? Is it bonded to the protectant on your hair?

Alicia alston: Your video gave me so much life ! did you cut the stocking cap before or after you sat under the dryer? How does the cap stay after being cut?

Greedy Bedie’s: Idk why I'm obsessed with your gray streak! Lol I wish mine grew that way.

kersha beaver: Great job very pretty. I'm going to use your method of taking the first two tracks a long the hair linr. I have been trying to make own wigs. And they have epic fsiks. But I have been getting better. They just haven't been able to wear. The dog Is cute as well.

Lysandra Fleming: I like your quick weave tutorial you went straight into it these other ones be talking too damm much thanks you did a good job
