How To Install Micro Loop Extensions | Kinky Straight Tutorial For Weave Leave Out

Ladies welcome to my channel, my name is Cheryl desire, so session is the the micro loop extensions from White wigs. I purchased these back in August um August September, so this is not a sponsored video. I found it through all my little YouTube searches and I said: okay, I'm gon na try it and I finally got a chance where I got tired of wearing wigs. So it's okay! Let me install some hair, so I actually got just one bundle of the micro loops and then I purchased three bundles of kinky straight hair from she's happy here, I'll link all um. I link both vendors below um, but my goal was to just use the micro Loops for my leave out because I didn't want to close your. I didn't want to glue in tracks, and you know when you do a sew-in weave, you can only go but so high. I mean for me when I do my sew ins I can go but so high and to actually blend my natural hair. I knew I wanted a different option: a new Option: the micro Loops are perfect. Okay, when I tell you it's super super easy to install, make sure y'all stay tuned to the end of this video, so you can watch the tutorial once you see how easy it is. You are going to be sold. Okay, um all you're going to need. Is your comb, your brush whatever and make sure you have a pliers or you can get the pliers from Michaels or Walmart and you'll see the type of pliers I'm talking about when I'm um, when you watch the tutorial, but they're super easy to install um with One bundle you get about four: I think it was even four or five of these and I only use about one and a half. So I have these for another um install, so they come in with these little plastic loops and then they come with the little black beads. So when you insert your hair through the clear plastic Loop and when you pull this, it slides your hair through this little circle here. So it's kind of like crocheting like if you're a crochet girl - and you know I have some crochet videos on this channel. Then you are going to love this okay and of course I got the kinky straight texture, and then I mashed it with some kinky straight bundles, the bundles and the loops is not an exact match, but they're good enough um it took me. I had to do a lot with this install because I had to wash my hair. I had to braid my hair, so you'll see it all in tutorial, but I think all together it took about three hours, probably or more. It wasn't no more than four hours and that's with me just taking my time, listen to my music and luxury and uh, it's so easy to install now I sold in the hair in the back. If you're, not a girl who can sew, you can get a full head of these, because I believe anybody can store these um, I think to have a full head. You might need three to four bundles of these, but um I'll research that and put it in the description, but I only bought one because I only wanted for my leave out, because I did not want to do this in my entire head. I did not want to spend as much time it's super easy and it's super fast, but I have thick hair and one thing that I noticed also when I was looping them. You can only take a small piece of hair, and even when I was taking little pieces of hair, my hair was still kind of like girl. It was struggling a little bit, so my tip is to if you have thick hair like me, start to loop at the bottom of your hair, where it's a little thinner, because if you try to do it from the top and you have thick hair and I Press my hair out first mind drew and yeah, so I wouldn't want to do this on a full-headed, my hair. But if you don't have thick hair, you will love this whole install because if you can like have updos, it's very versatile and you can't really see them like right here. You can see um my micro Loops, but you can really like cover them up and it's nothing and they make the loops pretty thick, where it's not like little tiny pieces of hair. So you feel, like you, need, like 5 000 pieces of these in one spot. These are pretty thick, they give you nice amount of hair for each Loop, so it still gave my leave out a nice fullness. Ladies bye, so I totally underestimated the way I stored this hair when I previously dyed it, so I had to re-wash it blow dry. It out before installing it usually for my sew ins. I do a basic straight back braided set, and this is just me braiding, my hair, taking my time trying to do it as tight as I can, because I'm not a super tight braider, and I just want this to pretty much last for about two to three Weeks um, when I start my sewing in my tracks, I'll start at the very bottom, and I don't do it super tight and I start to press it out before I get to the top because it just helps with the overall process um. So this is the amount of hair that I love at the top of my hair out to actually install the micro Loops. So it's a very small portion of the hair. That'S out and I blow dried it and press it out first. So here are the micro loops and how they come. You will see like the little clear plastic Loop and then it's a black bead. The black bead is used to pull your hair through it. So you want to section off small pieces of hair and here's where I demonstrated foreign while you pull that bead down - and this is me just clamping it down with the pliers it has to have that like flat nose. Look so it's a little easier and you can move faster that way now with kinky straight hair, you have to manipulate it. I'M I love kinky straight texture, but it doesn't really hold a curl that well and you have to do a lot of manipulation just to give it body so you'll see in this video of me curling it you know doing a curl set. You know what do you call these? The um pin curls like just to give it a good body, because kinky straight is very, very like resistant to curls um, and this is the finishing look. It'S just a very soft natural look. I was just going for something that looked like it actually could be my hair and I just needed a little curl, just a nice little softness a little femininity um. Just just the look that I wanted to go for right now, so the micro Loops were perfect for me to get that leave out, look without having to glue any tracks or wear a closure, and my hair gets to breathe. So I'm really feeling this. This is definitely my new go-to for leave out is micro Lube. So if you're looking to do a sew-in, you can either even do glue in a bag. You can do a quick weave in the back and then do the micro Loops at top. Whatever is easier for you, both ways will work, and this is the look that I created with my new hair, just a simple two piece and a little jacket and a handbag, and this is just what we're doing right now. I do a whole series series on you know fashion for women over 30, so this is just what we're giving just nice polish simple, looks, Simplicity, sleighs or street chic is like all these different looks that I love coming up with.
