Dying My Hair & Extensions | Barefoot Blonde Hair

Hey guys welcome back to my channel sometime last year, I purchased some Barefoot blonde hair extensions from amber Phillips website. I have been following her Instagram for a really long time. I had constantly seen how she did her hair and how she put in her extensions and absolutely was obsessed with her still AM so I decided to order some on my own just to get them a try when I got them in the mail. I was not disappointed at all, I absolutely loved them. It came in a super cute box. Since then the box has kind of gotten beat up, but this is what it looked like so right there you can see the Barefoot blonde hair logo right there. It'S like this green color and then, when you open it up, it has her little logo right there with the white heart and the extensions are in side. So when I got these, I had platinum blonde hair. I kind of miss my blonde hair somedays. Sometimes I don't. Some people told me that I didn't look good with blonde hair and I look better with brown and to be honest, I do think that in the end, I do look better my skin tone, just it, it looks better with brown hair. Also, I feel, like it pops my eyes a little bit more, so I'm gon na go ahead and pull these out and show you what they look like. I haven't brushed them or anything it's been a while since I've gotten them out, but they smell so good. These are 100 % real human hair. It comes with a bunch of different size wefts. So there's one like this. This is what the back of it looks like it has these clips that are like pretty sturdy and secure they just like clip right into your hair. Then there's two of these sized ones right here and then it comes with four small clip on these are the four little wefts that go in and he's any place that you can kind of fit them, and then it comes with. I think this is the largest one. It has four clips. I believe this one is like 6 inches, 6 to 8 inches, I'm not quite sure, but the same with the clips on the back. They all look exactly the same very sturdy and nice klipsch. So what I'm going to do - and I have been wanting to do this for a while - so I'm kind of excited - I am do as you can see like my roots - are starting to come out. My original hair color is more of a dirty blonde. So right now they are kind of like over growing on my hair and I need to dye my hair, so I thought it would be really cool, since I'm trying to get my hair a break from the keratin tip extensions, I thought it'd be really cool. If I tried to dye these now, it's gon na be kind of tricky because of this material in the back, I have no idea how it's gon na take. I have no idea. Obviously I don't think that the clips are gon na die at all. So I don't really know how it's gon na turn out. In the end, the color I'm going to be using today is this Clairol natural instincts, and this isn't the color I think you're gon na like so I got a black Brown. I really want it to be dark. I don't quite want it to be black. When I was a teenager, I did black hair and, although I do kind of want to go to that extent again, but maybe not right now, I kind of want to try out it's a little bit darker of a color to see how it looks and to See if I'm ready to take that leap into the all-black hair color process and I'm going to go ahead and show you how I'm going to die these bare foot, hair extensions? Okay, so I just finished rinsing out my hair. It does look quite a bit darker. It almost looks on the black side, which I really like. Actually it's still a little wet so once it dries I'm sure to lighten up a little bit. I did get like some stuff all over me. So try to be careful. If you do this, the assumptions are looking really really good. I think they're actually ready to rinse out, so I'm gon na go ahead and do that really fast and then I'll be right back, okay guys. So my hair is completely now dry and the extensions are also almost dry, there's still a tad bit away, but I'm just going to go ahead and brush them out and straighten them to see how well they fit in my hair. So let me show you like a close-up of one of the West's here, so this part did actually turn a different color. So that's really good. It was blonde before and now it's brown. This is the back side. That clips, of course, did not turn a different color, but, as you can see, the fabric here, that's holding up, the hair definitely did, which is exactly what we wanted. So you can tell it, took the color like pretty pretty well, there are a couple spots like in there in there that you can tell that is still a little bit blonde, so I might have to go over them again and dye them with another box. These took two boxes of color. Like that's a lot, I mean this is a lot of hair, so I guess I should have expected it and, like I said, it's gon na probably need another coat just to get like those fine little pieces of hair like right. In here just to get those really really dark, but overall it looks pretty good and it looks like the exact same color as my hair. So let's go ahead. Brush these out, give them a straighten and let's, let's put them in and see how they look ha. I finally finished the extensions and now I'm going to go ahead and go in and straighten my own hair. So now that my hair is straightened, you can really really tell that it's so much darker than it was before, and I absolutely love it. It'S not quite black black, but it definitely is more on the blackish side. I'M a really really obsessed with this. I really like it. Oh okay, so here are all of my extensions that are completely straighten and now completely dry. You can tell that they are definitely the same color as my hair, which I'm so excited about. I'M gon na go ahead and put these on off-camera just because I don't have a mirror or anything, and I can't I have to sit at the back of my head. So I'm going to go ahead and put them in and then I will show you the end results, okay guys. So this is what they look like now that they are all in. I also went ahead and changed my shirt just because my shirt was like really dark and against my hair, you couldn't really see it, so this is what it looks like. So these are very very long. These are 22 inches and I did leave a few of the single ones out, just because I wanted to show you how I clip them in so. Basically, I just literally oh, my goodness, the clip to this one actually died. So that's pretty cool. So literally I just flip it open and it pops up like that and then so you can kind of see where my hair ends right here see how it's kind of choppy right there. So we're gon na add this like underneath. So I'm just gon na lift up my hair right here, take the extension and pop it right there and snap there you go so see now you can tell like it hides it better. It hides the choppiness more we'll do another one like back here cuz! You can kind of see right there where it ends so we'll take another one. Do the same thing we're gon na pop it open to where it's open like that we're going to lift the hair. You want to get like right on the edge like right where the root is so we're gon na, take it plop it we're gon na snap it and there you go just like that. These are really really nice. I'M gon na kind of do a close-up. I even have two more left, but I don't think that I really need them right now. Maybe I'll go back in after the video and kind of put them in where I think I need them, but I wanted to show you guys a close-up, so you cannot tell at all that I am wearing extensions, even all the way around my head. How cool is that, but I suck I am in love with this color and I'm so happy that I can have long hair again when I want, and I don't have to damage my hair with the carrots and tip extension like I said these are the Barefoot Blonde hair extensions - I definitely definitely recommend them, even after dyeing them straightening them with that he brushing them drying them with a hair dryer. These are still so silky smooth this entire set cost me I'd, say I think it was like 215 220. I can't remember the exact price, but it definitely was. I'M gon na try to find them online and then I will post it up here. If I can so not really excited, because I want to go, do my makeup to match this hair, I absolutely so. What do you guys think? I like being able to have short hair on a day where I feel a little bit more sassy and then long hair on a day that I feel a little bit more sophisticated.
