Hey guys welcome back to my channel if you're new to my channel, my name is Sidora and I'm here to make you more self-sufficient, because life is easier when you can do it yourself, so I'm gon na show you how to do crochet braids. This is the rubberband technique, so the first thing I'm gon na do is I'm gon na apply my hair growth oil onto my scalp. Rub it in real good. If you need information about that, I left that in the description box below this, oil is 100 %. All-Natural and organic it's made with Ayurvedic herbs and this helped grow back my hairline and edges. Now, I'm gon na start installing there. I left all the information on this here in the description box. So after you have your hair, sectioned off and rubberband. The first thing you want to do is slide the crochet needle through the rubber bands hook the hair onto the needle pull it through. Take your end and the ends of the crochet here and pull it through that loop. Let'S try this again in slow motion. First thing you do is take the crochet needle slide it through the rubber bands or under the rubber band hook the hair onto the crochet needle pull it through open up that loop and pull both your hair strands and the ends of the crochet hair through and Tighten and that's, it is very simple, extremely simple, so pros and cons of doing this method, obviously, is the very first one. If you don't know how to do cornrows, this will be an alternative. The cons number one, you have less control when it comes to doing the rubberband method, because the hair tends to move around and it doesn't really stay where you want it to stay. Another con is that you have leave out, so your hair is gon na have to somehow blend with the crochet hair okay. So this is the technique that I used around the perimeter of my hair and also by the part, it's the same as that technique. As doing regular crochet, but instead you're gon na just pull your real hair and one of the pieces of the crochet ends through the loop. So instead of pulling to do the loop you'll just pull one and that's going to give this effect right here. It'S still kind of see the rubberband, so you're gon na have to play with that in order for it to look real natural and again, this is the con, if you're, using the rubber band method. But if you use kinkier here, this doesn't happen because it's stiffer so I did one side now, I'm working on the other side, I am crocheting pieces around the rubber band as well, so not only through the rubber band but around it as well, and then I'm Gon na style it. This is the final look, some things to know. If you're interested in purchasing the hair make sure you don't run your fingers through it too much, because that's when it's gon na get really mad at and frizzy. I left all the information in the description box. Okay, baby he's got a head out real, quick meaning that my friends are having they kind of just want to discuss the purchase that they got going on so hopefully hopefully, hopefully I hope he back within an hour because they stay lying to me. So I'm about to meet a few friends, you know take a little break from recording. You meet a couple of friends. They literally dragged me out because I was not down to going on. I honestly wanted to stay home, but I'm not gon na stay. Long, she's gon na be a 1 2 3 in my face and go home yeah like a nice day, long cuz. I got things to do today, 1 hour max. That'S it got work to do you got work to do it's call responsibility. It'S called handling your business. One drink, go home, we're going to Madrid party, but already succeeding one hour max. That'S it one drink go home, got work to do that, work to do!

LuLu Blan: Beautiful install! I noticed that you put the brand in the description box (Kima Braid). However, what curl did you use specifically? Also, I definitely started getting my herbs/powders ready for that oil, I love the video you did on that as well. Thank You!

mstcherie13: Looks absolutely beautiful and so cheap wow. Great tutorial :)

Daiana Jardim: Ficou maravilhoso, faço desse jeitinho tbm e fica perfeito, achei uma das melhores técnicas, ainda mais que meu cabelo é super curto. Então não aparece as borrachinhas. Adorei

MyWay: I love it. Thanks.

Beware the Lily of the Valley: Something I've seen in other videos is to essentially do "rosebud" bantu knots in order to hide all of your hair in the rubber band ("rosebuds" for short hair). This way, you should be able to keep the style longer as you won't have any of your own hair sticking out and being manipulated by the weather :)

I am all natural with curly wavy hair and want a protective style like this. I was nervous on what kind of hair , as there is so many of them out there, but some have a wig look to them and I want more of a natural look. Please advise me on what is best far as natural and I will do my best to match up on purchasing the hair. I am getting this done in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the video. I absolutely love it.

Candiblue: Hair on point

Duda Motta: Ameiiiiii

M. Nikkie: No lie.. This was amazing to watch.

Jalyssa Roberts: I legit thought this was going to be a tut strictly on the crochet hairstyle. When you finished a little past halfway thru...I was like what else is there left to talk about? Koriander Yander: Braiding is such an important technique to learn being African, or African descent, seeing as almost all of our hairstyles require braiding. Even if you want to throw on a wig, you still need to know how to cornrow, which I don't know how to do. It's just something that as a black woman, you need to know how to do, and I feel less black for not knowing how to braid.

Danniella Woods: Too cute!

Tee Bellamy: This looks BOMB . But I wonder what it'll look like with natural hair like still kinky , would it tangle more? I NEED to try this

Tiffany: Girl that hair is pretty it looks like some bundles

Tia Sargent: Yes ma'am u slayyyed hunny!

Tracie S: New subbie, love the hair and the additional footage at the end was tooo funny! "I got work to do"

kesha hudson: I thought this was no leave out but still nicely done

Janell Davis: I just found your channel love your ideas and girl I'm a new subbie......

Jessica Jenkins: So pretty

Gods Love 💕: Do u put the needle directly through the rubber band itself or under it. I want to try this method but confused a little ❤️

Lorna Brazzleton*Bey: Queen u Slayed! I luv it! Mèsi N Bless U 4da Vid Tutorial

Bobbie Thornton: I love this video..I automatically pressed subscribe

🌤Yourfairweatherfriend🏂: Lol, funny you have shown this style with a crochet needle to attach the hair. I just wrapped and sewn on mini hair bundles, around my mini plaits (no hair left out), using the sleek ponytail technique. I have had no tangling and I can run my fingers in my hair many times a day. It last for 4 weeks before I did a protein treatment.

Michelle Johnson: Looks very nice. My concern would be taking it out.
