In this video I show how to use human hair crochet and how to work with the elastic bands to create an invisible part with the crochet hair that can be worn in multiple parts- a middle part or a side part or both. This is a great protective style for black women with or without natural hair.

SAGA Human Hair Crochet Braids Standard Type Super Curl

Hey guys, it's shown if you have seen my earlier video on crocheting here. I know a bunch of people with the comment section were like, if only they had a human hair crochet, because this looks like so wood, but they do, and so I'm testing it out in this video and seeing if it's actually legit. So the first thing I have to say about this here is the innovation of this. How it's designed so the way that they decided this here to avoid slippage was add on these little elastics, because human hair is very silky. So if you're trying to do the crochet knots, it's gon na be more prone to slipping so in order to combat this, but still be able to use human here, they added on these elastic bands which a regular crochet I just put the latch hook through my Braid and then attach the hair and then loop, the hair around my finger and pull it through and now, if you want to learn how to fully in depth, learn how to do your own crochet. I recommend watching my previous video, where I explain in more detail and show you the braiding pattern. I use all of that in slower motion and more thoroughly here. So it comes in two ways: it was one type. It comes with one continuous loop and then the other type. It comes with like two separate strands as I'm showing you right here, so I got both of them, so I could show you which one I liked a little bit more than the other. They both work. Pretty well here, I'm going to show you how I use the second loop. Similarly I'll put the latch with needle through my braid, and then you grab the hair, pull it through now. These both work pretty well for all around my head, but when it got time to do my know, leave out crochet method, I got a little worried about how how I was going to cover up the elastic, because obviously the elastic doesn't look like natural here. So after trying to era, I realize that the free here that I'm showing you right here doesn't really work for this method. At least I need to find a way to make it work, but with the other pack hair that comes with a continuous loop, I was able to still use my no leave out crochet method and do my invisible part. I do it the same as I have done it in all my previous videos. I only grabbed half of the hair to loop to pull through and then so that the other half can cover the rest of the knot and with my braiding pattern you can always do the invisible part in between anywhere along the front of your head. So you can do multiple parts for this M saw. I just did one side part, but you could just do it. You could do as many parts as you want in the middle on the other side. It'S up to you, so I continued to do the invisible part a lot through my head. The installation was very simple, especially with this elastic. I didn't have to worry about slipping because it literally does not slip at all okay, but so now, let's talk about the quality of this actual here, because I'm sure that's what you guys are all wondering. That'S what I was definitely wondering myself like is this legit human here, so first test was, of course, putting it up the flat iron and seeing if this would just melt off or hood actually straighten. So, as I straightening it, it's made multiple passes to get it straight, but nothing melted it. I did not smell any burning plastic so from that test. Yes, it was definitely real here. So next I wanted to see if it could curl as well. So I put it up to that test as well, and I curled it with my flat iron and the curls came out beautifully and then at this point I was starting to get super excited because it streams it curls really really nicely so next I was like: Okay, it can do all of this, but will it actually revert back to its original texture? So that's, I think it's the oldest mint tax, like okay. I like this wavy curly texture, but if I straighten it, will it go back or is this original texture fake? So I went to my bathroom and put my hair in my hair with water came back and as you can see, the curl texture came back and I feel like it. Even it looked even more natural after obviously guys I was so impressed that it just did everything that virgin normal human hair would do. This is beauty supply store here, so I don't expect to last as long as virgin here, but in the meantime, especially this first day looks exactly act exactly like version here, so I got. I was sent this hair from Sam's Beauty, I'll put a link down below to where you can buy it. I just really wanted to come out and show you guys this hair. I hope you enjoyed this video. Thank you guys so much for watching and supporting me with all these videos. I really do enjoy making them for you guys. Thank you for supporting me I'll, see you in the next one

Sherry Philson: I've used the Saga human hair crochet same hair 5 times. I absolutely love it!!!!

Kylie Shepard: Ik y’all aren’t sitting here complaining that 30 dollar HUMAN hair is expensive... I-

Natasha Pruitt: Love the hair! I have the curly hair and colored it. Can wet it and it bounce back in a kinky curl. No complaints here!

Alberta Middleton: Thanks for the video. I'm going to try this hair. I wanted to put in weave hair but that's too much for me. I love crochet because I can treat my scalp. This would be perfect for me.

Sincerely Shante: Love this! I recently learned how to crochet on my own, so I'm definitely gonna have to try human hair. Ive never had sew ins and i will never get them because whatever style I do, I need to be able to access my scalp and hair whenever I want, period. Not tryna have my hair hid away for months without being able to reach my scalp and end up with molded hair . Thanks for the video! ❤️

Nikki D: Hi Seun. Thanks for sharing. Quick question, how many packs of natural hair did you use for that style and which length? Thanks

Boo Bie: She used 5 packs so the cheapest I found was 39.99 a pack soooo 200.00. I'll do a lace front.

Angel Leigh: Thank You! I wondered if the tree method- pulling one section through the loop instead of both- would work to camouflage the anchor braids. (5:05 - 5:06) Thank you, you have saved me time, money and frustration.

Bushy Bashy: I really like how the texture looks!! I think I would try that hair!! Loving your video's so creative, an helpful!!

Greater is He: Excellent video u covered all the bases I needed. Thank You!

N A Y A : Oh my goodness. This could be a real winner for me because I get allergic reactions to synthetic hair. Thanks so much for exploring this option and sharing!

Brownie8986: This was quite informative! Thx for the upload. I'm one of those people who 1) doesn't wear weaves but 2) works out a lot [yoga, hiking, swimming, Krav maga, rowing etc.] so this is a happy medium for me *especially* when travelling abroad. It did make me wonder how the hair would've looked on you had you given the whole thing some really nice loose curls but just the one you did was promising and once it reverted on camera I was curious. It is human so I expected it to cost more than typical synthetic packs so that's fine by me. I look forward to enjoying the versatility!! ☺

Punky ReggaeParty: I would be worried about having this elastic on my roots. Elastic dries my hair out and I am in a dry climate. Nice results though.

Tita Linda: This girl is a magician to be able to do all alone a most complicated and tiresome job......

ButtahscotchKisses: I was so glad I found out that there is human hair for crochet. I think I'll just get a pack for making a ponytail band. Thanks for the heads up!

TnM Gaming: Nice video Seun. Finally human hair crochets. I would really like to try them.

K D: Okay so i remembered why i never do crechet any more! i tried the "braidless method.. and when i was taking it out i cut out a chunk of my hair in the front! yikes. I had the sense to use a net for the back part and it was easier! PROTIP *use a weaving or netted cap to crochet the hair.. like a crochet wig, then sew THAT onto your braids* So much easier to take off and you wont cut your hair trying to get tiny crochet strands out of the front.

Monita McLaurin: Thank you for the tutorial; very informative and you did a great job on your style. It looks great. What texture hair did you use? I noticed the brand was Saga by Milky Way but I don't see the human hair pre-loop or elastic crochet braids in your Sam's Beauty inventory above. Please tell me the texture you used in your video. Thank you again!

fav dup: You're sooooooo!!!!! Good at this, WOW I can watch you all day, and you're very pleasant to watch. Thank you for all your teachings baby girl. God bless you

aariyannahthequeen: This was mad helpful cause I want curly crochet hair but I wanna straighten it and style it

Robyn Stephens: I wanna try this on myself! Looks good!

Gaylisa Hernandez: Great job showing the hair can get curled , pressed out and still go back to the original shape thanks for the demo of the invisible part with elastic bands, good to know before making the $$$ investment into human hair. How many packs should I get? Is it less or more than I . normally get with senthetic type.

Denise Wray: Excellent video, I just started doing crochet braids for myself, could you please let me know what type of Saga hair you used for this video? Thank you.

Ashanti Bee: Im so glad you did a review on this, saga/ shake n go is pretty good hair usually.. it's not hair that's going to last for thousands of years at a time but it does the job, 35 a pack is good.

Alicia Edmonds: Looks very nice on you ....if possible could you a 2 week review on it..

Danielle S.: I hear this hair sheds A LOT. Could you include an update vid. so we can see how well the hair does over time?? ✌❤️

Hope papcop foundation International: Wow great job you did

WrappedInEducation: Great video and thanks for sharing! I see a lot of comments on the price, but just like any other style, it's your choice. I think it's worth it, especially when you can straighten AND curl it! I wonder if you can reuse it!

IssaJ: Damn 60$ for that, but sale price 35.. Issa no from me lol. But it is beautiful hair love the loop idea

Joy: Can you use this to attach directly to the hair the same way you would doing Brasilian knot method? I prefer Brasilian knot method because the finish is better and access to scalp is key for me. And I usually use bundles and not weave Also, do you cut out the elastic when removing?

hyacinthdibley2: My other issue with this is that SCALP OIL WILL BREAKDOWN THE ELASTIC OVER TIME, so i'm afraid of 'strands' falling out without my knowledge. This may likely require weekly washing (usual washing regimen) to prevent oil buildup, but oiling scalp as usual will be a problem.

Sue kiwi: A updated video on the hair would be nice

Kayla Elaine: Genuine question: what’s the point of this? I know for myself the real thrill of crochet is the price. Usually $5 per pack, for 5 packs puts me at $25. But with this, doing some quick math 5 packs at $30 is $150, might as well get a sew in for that. I suppose someone who has allergic reactions to synthetic hair might benefit, but again, why not a sew in? Like I said not trying to be nasty, just curious. Hell, I might jump on the bandwagon myself if there’s an actual good reason.

Unbalanced Libra: Crochet hairstyle is meant to be a fast an inexpensive way to still slay without hurting your pockets n sitting for 5+ hours I say no matter of fact hell no I'll continue slay my cheap 3.99 a pack crochet hair..but it looks good on you

Lashawna Brady: @seun. Great vid. Comprehensive and timed perfectly. Yeah!!!!!!!

Belinda McDaniel: Your only mistake is going under the braid instead of through the braid.. gives a much smoother and polished finished

Paulina mega hair Dark: Que máximo amei e como fãs esta mecha este cabelo e humano? Parabéns amei o vídeo minha linda sucesso

Famoustiffvny: Gorgeous ❤️

slim jim: Love your full on test with heat curl n revert bac

Shivon Shiloh: The idea is great. i wish i could be the model for one of these places so someone would do m hair for FREE! and I just walk around as a human billboard for them lol. Any takers? But this is like many said too expensive for my taste. Just make my crochet look natural and last and I'm down!

Ni La: I used to think this hair was a severe waste of money because it was so expensive for crocheting and a sew in would cost essentially the same. Then I realized that this could be reused and for someone with scalp issues, this hair can see the water without going to pieces. So, I equate it to doing microbraids with human hair. If you’re willing to pay the price you’ll have more style versatility and your care routine would more closely mirror how you’d care for your own hair. You wouldn’t be wasting products on synthetic fiber. That said, I still like my inexpensive synthetic hair.

Lil J: Is there any after care routine for the curly hair? I’m gonna try half of my head with curls just similar to these and I wanna make sure I don’t miss any steps to keep them fresh for as long as possible

PrettyUs50Plus vlogger: I would like to try this hair

Sunny Amey: Beautiful

Naomie Armand: My freepart lace front was cheaper than all those crochets combined.

Baby OneMoreTime: Eres súper línda ☺️

LiLi M: I was waiting for this, I don’t like sew in bcz I can’t keep it longer than a week. it makes me itch so bad, want to wash my hair like I never washed it before. I think this is a better solution that I can do it myself frequently & I can take it off & wash my itchy scalp as I wish.

Plussize Baddies: Good job girl

GraceWorld beauty: Hey dear...am so glad I can see this...I learnt about you from your Mum in midland Texas...you’re doing a good job honey...keep it up

Ashley Mosby: Would've made a crochet lace part wig

Beth Hobbs: Does it shed?? That's my question. A BIG pet peeve for me!!

Dani Styles: @seun how many packs did you use?

Nicole R: Can you show when you uninstall the hair? How many packs did you use?

Rooted Locs: Human hair also burns differently- you could also do a strand burn test

Amyia Williams: Can you please do an update on this video about how it lasted plzz❤️

ISHTAR: I don’t want elastic rubbing on my natural hair, im afraid of breakage.

Kinyatta: Seun... You are soooooooo loved!!!

Jaja Rene: Beautiful, I'm so happy to see human hair crochets!! Finally! How many packs did you use?

Savvi Creationz: How do you take it down and still be able to keep this human hair for additional crochets?

Chin926: Great video! Was the curl a little looser when the hair dried?

Dalena08: Do you think this hair be installed and braided or twisted?

Just Debby: LOVE IT! but it's too expensive I'm good might as well just do a sew in or a wig

Anna: you saved my life i go to the bahamas on friday and need too put something in today!!!

Tiffany Broomes: I was typically to do the bodywave crochet hair last night to my friend head but the hair was to soft and it did not have the rubber on it so I took the hair out because I dnt like like how it looked

Dae Davis: what inch is this ? & in the video is that the whole 5 bags or you installed the rest afterwards?

RG RK King: I'm looking for that human hair look, good on my skin, but the price is to much for me, don't get me wrong it's beautiful, on you, but i think i better stick with a wig. Thanks for the video.

Bume.e: Seun! I tried this half-way with synthetic but I just couldn't get the part line to blend well with part.. Wish you are in NY, my parting needs help! Are you based in Lagos?

Corey Greene-Lambotte: @Seun Okimi - how many packs did you use for your head?

DeeDee Walker: How many packs did you use?

Michalovesanime: I'd do weave over my whole head a nd do the invisible part crochet for a more natural look without leave out...good video

ladynefertitibk: Very pretty. How many packs did you use? And could you do updates on it.

Raven C: Did you get all of the hair in one length? Or did you get different ones for layers

Rhonda Harden: How many packs did you use in this video?

Panda Goddess: How many packs of hair do you use?

Cieara Coffin: Can you dye it?

Genesia Griffin: How many bags did you use ?

Eleni BOULOTTE: Merci

baby pink: It's funny how she squinting her eyes and grinding her teeth like she actually combing her hair lolol cute

Patrice D'Evans: Thanks so much! You have such a sweet smile. God bless you.

Nadzl118 Wilson: Thank you for sharing this video am going to order the hair

B Nada: Looks good.Might give it a try

HanBunzzz D: I love your attitude!! You are so sweet

gemini.: Tbh i would forget its human and think its synthetic and end up throwing it away

The Boxed One: I want to see you braid ur hair in box braids and a hair style side way braids trying to learn how to do my hair and figure out how

Nina Terzieva: Do you think this style can be done on a caucasion person ? Do you think it will show ? Thanks xxx

Alexb27cs: Does it dye? I want to use it to make permanent locks and others charge way too much for the same look

Nubia Pokam: What length was this hair?

Frankiee: Is it bleachable ???

IAM BLACKBEAUTY: DID YOU HAVE TO CUT OUT THE INVISBLE PART??..JUST WONDERING?

DANDRAJ 2356: Can you reuse it?

According 2 Garfield: Would you do a video on taking out your weave? I just took. Mine out myself. Of course more to be desired than my day today lol uggg I had it in. 11.5 months...and I had a huge matt ..but oh well cost less.

Mony E: How long does this hair lasts

Winsome Place: Lovely as usual..could you reuse the hair though

Oliver Been: They only have black. I would pay for it if it came in other colors

Anna Amos: How many bags of the human hair crochets it takes for a head

Kaylee Guzman: How many packages did you use?

Likedbymany: Sedu is a great flat iron

Stacia G: It looks like synthetic hair

Angel Ngilosi: very nice hairstyle

C H: I like the thought of this I just think the braiding foundation was too big& loose with the elastic you can really see the braids spacing .It looked old soon as it was finished because of this.maybe with some leave out this would look better.
