Boho Goddess Braids On Natural Hair | Trying This Viral Hairstyle

Hey y'all welcome back to my channel. My name is deandra. If you're new, thank you so much for stopping by so y'all. Listen, they got me like they literally got me. I'Ve been seeing these goddess boho braids, all over my instagram and every time i see them. I'M just like okay, these are too cute, got ta, try them out, so we're gon na try them. I'Ve never done this before, and i've actually never even seen anybody do these with their natural hair. So i'm just so glad that this trend is another cute style that we can do with our natural hair. So hopefully it comes out really really cute, because i saw that it takes like a few hours so hopefully y'all. This is going to be a super cute style perfect for the summer, all that all that, so my hair is up in this little puff. This is like a twist out that i did last week and so we're just going to work with this all right. So i'm just taking my hair down, so i don't think that i'm going to do like hard parts. I don't know that makes sense, but i don't think i'm going to do like parts with like a comb for this style. I know some people did that, but i kind of just it to be more effortless um, and so i'm just going to probably part with my fingers, which is what i normally do anyway, i'm going to just do down the middle pretty much. I already have a middle part, just gon na just gon na fix it up a little bit and i might end up wearing it over to the side. But for now we're just gon na work with the middle and then i'm gon na just part from ear to ear all right. So now we just have our back section. I feel like. I don't want my braids to be like super small because it is going to take forever. My hair is so dense, but are you like that big yo? We are just figuring this out as we go along. I think maybe like that big will be fine. We'Re doing the line outside, i don't know if y'all can hear that, but we ain't got time to be stopping so we're going to keep going so the products that i'm going to be using is the bounce curl defining butter, and then i'm also going to go In with the uncle funky's daughter, curly magic, curl, stimulator, gel and spray it with some water all right, so i put the butter on there and now we're gon na go in with the gel. I always have to use a gel when i do styles, because it just helps my hair to last, and we definitely want this style to hold all right. So we got all of our product on there. Now we're going to start to braid we're gon na. Take a piece out hold it with my mouth all right and i'm just going to braid to about here and then we are going to twirl the ends. It'S going to make it a lot easier when i'm trying to take these down for one, but also it's just going to give that pretty curl at the bottom and then we're gon na go in and make sure that the curly pieces are nice and defined. So we're adding some more gel okay, so this is going to be cute, i'm already seeing i'm already seeing it i'm seeing it. Okay, y'all all right, one braid down all right y'all. So this is the last one in the back and i think it looks really really cute so far like it's giving. I love it, so i'm doing them relatively small. I don't know. I just feel like this style needs like small braids, just so that it'll have that full look. I feel like if you do big braids, it's probably not going to look as cute takes a while, but you know it's worth it because it looks so cute. So all right y'all, so this is looking super super cute. I really wanted the back to look nice and full, and i think i accomplished that so now we can move on to the front. So i'm still not going to do real parts, i'm just going to kind of do what i've been doing and just estimating how much hair i want in each section, i'm just going to add a little bit of this edge control, since we do want the front To be nice and neat, i'm gon na do my edges last, but just to make that part neat. So one important thing when you're doing this, is you really want to try to pay attention to the gaps? So you see how i did this braid and it has this gap right here, so i'm making sure that this section is on top of that gap, because you want this braid to cover that gap. So that's just one thing to keep in mind if you are going to do their parts like how i'm doing it, which is sporadically, i'm not doing like perfect boxes, but you do want to make sure you pay attention to those spaces. You see how that braid. Just spilled in that gap really really nicely that's what you want all right, y'all last section, and i will be back when i'm done all right. Y'All we finished they are so pretty. Oh, my gosh, i'm in love with them. They took like oh three hours. Four hours, something like that, but definitely worth it all right, so i'm just gon na let them fully dry and then i'll come back and do my edges and all that good stuff. Okay. So this is the next day and y'all do y'all see this. I was wondering how it was gon na do overnight, but it did so great. All i did was just put a ponytail holder on it and it's holding up really really well so hopefully these little loose pieces will hold up, but if not, i can always go back and add some gel throughout the week. If i need to but yeah. So i did my edges and i think i'm going to maybe add a few accessories. I think that's going to kind of like make the style a little bit, so i'm just going to add a few of these little charms. So i just added a few just to give a little hint of gold jewelry and i think it looks so pretty y'all. This might be my favorite protective style that i've done with, like all my natural hair. It has like that wash and go look, but yet you can still see the braids like it's just so cute, so i'm just going to show y'all what it looks like all right guys. So thank y'all so much for watching.
