Hair care is a very important step in maintaining and treating our hair especially if you wear hair extensions (weave) like me. I wanted to share with you the items that I use and the steps I go through to make sure that I take care of my actual hair and my hair extensions. I am very active so I tend to sweat a lot in especially in my hair, which leaves it oily, dirty and itchy so every week I like to give hair a deep treatment to bring life back to my hair. In this video, I show you step by step the process I take to wash my hair and the products I use. Through trial and error, I perfected a hair care treatment system that has really worked wonders for me and I hope it does the same for you. I hope y'all find this video is very helpful and gives you another option to treating your hair at the salon. Let me if you try it out!

Hey guys, today's video is going to be on haircare. I get a lot of questions on how I take care of my hair underneath the weave and how I actually take care of the weave. So I decided to show you guys my process, because I was getting ready to wash my hair today. So I figured why not just film it and you guys can see my process and you guys can see what it is that I do to take care of the hair and actually take care of the roots of my hair and my scalp and how to keep It treated - I am very active, so the hair underneath the weave get sweaty gets dirty gets disgusting, it's smelly, so all of that it just makes it a bad experience for your actual hair underneath the weave, because it's not getting any sunlight and it's not getting any Of the nutrients, because it is trapped in a sense underneath the extensions. So I just wanted to show you what I use to take care of my scalp. What I use to take care of my actual hair and then what I use to actually take care of. The weed to make it nice and shiny and beautiful so there's in the dead and dry. I get a lot of compliments on the actual hair looking amazing, so I just wanted to share with you guys what it is that I do to keep the hair. Looking great so if you want to see the products that I use and the process that I go through to take care of the hair then keep watching so begin. You want to brush out any map that you may have in your hair. Then taking this clip, you want to be able to pin your hair back and work in different sections to apply the treatment that we're going to use to treat the scalp once we're done with that. We'Re going to take Carol's Daughter and sent her a mixer and we're going to use that and apply it all over our scalp starting at the base of our head. We want to make sure that we get the treatment all up in our hair. You want to make sure you continue from the bottom, all the way to the top going track-by-track and making sure that each section of your hair gets the treatment, because it's the most important step in this process. As I'm going along with the process, I like to touch the tracks and make sure they're giving the oils, as you can see here once I reach the top, I like to go around the edges to make sure they get the treatment as well. Then, when I get to the crown of my head I'd like to take a wide tooth comb and comb out any masks that I may have on the top of my head or any of the hairspray that I have left in there. And then I apply the elixir on top of my scalp making sure I go through every single portion of my natural hair, then taking a spray bottle filled with water, we're going to use that to dampen our hair. So what I like to do is work in sections and spray, each side of my hair making sure it gets nice and wet to prepare for the next step. Once the hair is wet, make sure you go back with a brush and brush out any knots. You may have before I wash my hair, I like to apply conditioner first to my hair and to the actual meat. So to begin, I like to take this damage repair mask and apply it to my actual hair and comb. It out making sure that I've gotten all the knots and tangles out. So when I wash it, it becomes easier for me to run my fingers and the comb through it. Moving on electrical between these two deep conditioning treatments, but for today I'm going to use the silk elements, mega control, conditioning treatment and I'm going to apply that all over my hair, making sure that I saturate the week. I try to put as much as possible in the extensions to make them nice and soft, and I don't know, then you want to pull your hair back after saturating. Every single portion of your head put it in a clip to get it ready to be under a shower cap. Once I'm done with all the preparation I like to let my hair sit in the shower cap for about an hour just about the elixir, can work on my scalp and that the deep treatment can work on the week, making it nice and soft and that my Stuff is nice and moisturized, and for an added bonus, I like to use dry shampoo in between my washes, just to help absorb the oil and the dirt and all the other nasty funk. That'S left behind in my hair, in between washes within the hour attic to give myself a facial. So if you guys want to see a nighttime routine video, let me know and as you can see, the time is up and it's time for me to wash my hair when I'm washing my hair, I like to use a pure, shampoo and conditioner. So I'm using this Garnier Fructis 2-1-1 pure clean, shampoo and conditioner just to wash out all of the products in my hair or some Zen towel drying. My hair I like to take this Garnier Fructis blow dry protector and the macadamia heating oil and mixing them together and applying them evenly throughout my hair, making sure that the product is distributed to both my actual hair and the weak. Then we begin the painstaking task of blow-drying our hair. This is the longest part of the process. It takes me about an hour to blow-dry my hair, so I like to use a brush to help me with the processor when blow-drying your hair, you want to make sure you work in sections and also you want to make sure that you blow-dry the tracks of The hair, you do not want it to be wet because that can lead to bacteria growing and that can also lead to more hair damage. So you want to just make sure that you drive every single portion of your head, including the hair, including the tracks. Your natural hair just make sure every portion of your head is dry once I'm done blow-drying my hair, I like to brush my hair again and making sure that I get rid of all the knots next taking care about our leave-in conditioner, which, by the way, smells Amazing you guys this thing makes your hair smell so good, and I could take this leave in conditioner and just spray it all over my hair and between my tracks, just to make sure that I had the leave-in conditioner every where and then I like to go Back with the blow dryer just to make sure that it has really set into my hair and in my scalp and once again, it's time to brush their hair and making sure everything is in place. As you can tell I like to brush my hair, because the biggest thing that I do not want is not entangled in my hair, then taking a small amount of the one-and-only argan oil, I'm going to distribute that evenly throughout my hair. After that, I'm going to start the braiding process and just put my hair into big French braids on both sides. So that way, when I wake up the next day, I have nice beautiful ways in my head and I will cut down on the time that I need to spend on doing my hair in the morning right after I'm done with braiding. My hair like to get this motions, semi wrapped lotion - and I apply this to my braids and to my edges - making sure that everything is nice insect. I like to start this process at night so that I can go to sleep with these braids and wake up. The next day, wake clean hair after I removed the braids. I like to apply this pre staining serum throughout my hair, and I like to use a small amount cause. You don't want to put too much product in your hair and that's basically it guys. My hair looks shiny, it looks, vibrant and looks healthy and I just use these hottest and I do this every week, and this is the results I get. I hope this video was very helpful and making sure that you guys get some nice beautiful hair that I have thank you guys so much for watching and for a list of other products and more detailed information about the stuff that I use today definitely check out. clrcam: One of the best tutorials on ANY subject ! Well done.

KikiStyles101: Hi love thank you for asking but I don't wear partial weave but the same steps will apply. The main focus of the hair care is to treat your scalp to help promote growth and stop the itchiness and how to treat the weave. In both cases it full sew in and partial, I would condition the hair first to get it nice and soft and then use shampoo. I hope this helps:).
