Take one action: that's a wrap. What'S up my babies, welcome back to another video. My name is kay, and this is crown baller. We'Re gon na have right into this video as y'all can see from the look on my face. Your girl is super excited. I got some hair from icy beauty, hair or i see princess whichever one they decide to give on the bag. Okay, so i'm showing you guys the contents of the package that i received and i was very impressed by that little card um, my bundles came a little card came and then these thick long lashes came for the kid all right. So now i'm showing you guys, the actual bundles. I got four bundles of um kinky curly hair. This is my first time trying this texture, so i'm very, very, very excited so before i put it in we're, definitely going to prep and wash this hair. The curl pattern that came with this hair was just a little bit too tight for me. So i'm going to do a definite, wash and condition before i put it in i'm using my two favorite shampoos and conditioners at the time, the strength and shine fructis, garnier, fructis and then um lv tall extraordinary oil. These are like my go-to. I use the fructis honestly for the smell because i love the way it smells, but the extraordinary oil by elvital is absolutely divine like it definitely gives moisture to hair it's for dry hair. So i like to use it to put moisture into the hair. So right here, i'm showing you guys how i'm washing it, how i like to rinse the bundle with water put the shampoo on i put both shampoos on and then i use my brush to kind of comb. The hair out comb, the shampoo into the hair and then once i feel like it's like fully combed through, i give it a nice rinse. This part is pretty like tedious and it's quite long honestly, because you just have to continue to rinse and make sure all the shampoo is out of the hair. But you know this is the price that we're paying for these amazing curls that we're gon na see afterwards. So once i like rinse out all the bubbles, there's no more bubbles in the in the sink once i'm rinsing, i add the conditioner of both of the brands and then i'm just gon na once i like finger comb it through and detangle it. I'M just gon na sit it to the side and i'm gon na follow these same steps with each bundle and then once i'm done, i let them deep condition for like a few hours to the side, but i did want to make sure i showed you guys. The amount of shedding that i got initially when i wash these bundles. I think that that's very important so now we're going to move on to actual hair prep honey because, okay, it's looking real crusty and dusty and thirsty yeah, it's yeah, let's get ourselves together. So i went ahead and did a little co-wash deep, conditioned situation um in the shower, and now i'm gon na go in with a few products to moisturize my hair and prep it for this sew-in. So i'm using this apogee pro vitamin leave-in conditioner and it's going to help you know get some moisture back into my hair like this is my water type of a situation i'm doing the loc method, so i'm doing a leave in an oil and a cream. So this is what i i decided to use for my leave-in next with the oil i'm going to use some coconut oil and honey child, i'm giving myself a scalp massage, because it's important okay and as you can tell from the look on my face, i enjoyed It all right next for the cream, i'm just going to use some of quench by aunt jackie, it's my favorite favorite favorite, leave-in conditioner of all time, if y'all don't know about it, get hip to it, because it's lit you're anywho. So i'm putting that all over. My head and then i kind of go back in and kind of, want to like grease my edges and the ends of my hair with the black jamaican, castor oil. I kind of just do that because it's i just love the castor oil and i never not put it in my head. So now i'm going to start like the parting process and i'm parting, the perimeter um of where i want it to be left out now. Y'All see that i'm parting out just the front of my hair right in the clip where i braided my whole head. I changed my mind. I decided that i wanted to do a sew-in that actually had a part rather than the flip over sew-in, which in another video we'll talk about how it was a mistake from the jump, but for now we'll just go with it. So the perimeter of my edges and then those two middle braids, is how i decided to braid my hair and then the rest of my hair is kind of like braided to the side and to the back so right here, i'm just gon na pin not pin. I'M just gon na sew. These two tail ends of the braid up, so that um they're out of the way - and we can just start sewing on everything. This is pretty self-explanatory. But if you don't know how to sew, i'm just looping underneath the braid i'm pulling it through and then i'm looping, my needle through the loop of the thread. If that makes sense, so i'm going to continue this to kind of keep it um sturdy. And you know tucked away and then we're gon na get into the sewing portion of this. But so let me just tell you about my braid pattern. I initially whenever i do a sew in with curly hair. I love to do the flip over method iv. Slip-Over method, saturday, walk-ins flip-over method. Those are my go-to youtubers. I love the flip over method, but this time i was looking on youtube. It'S always youtube man. I was looking on youtube and i definitely was just like i seen a bunch of curly sew-ins that actually had a part and i wanted to try it so um. I went ahead and tried it, but it was a mistake, like i said, because right now, i'm taking my hair down but um. So this is the first bundle i'm starting with the shortest bundle. I got four bundles of 24, 22, 20 and 18., so this would be the 18 inch bundle that i'm putting in first with curly hair. You want to put in the shortest bundle first at the bottom and then work your way into length so that you don't have a choppy looking curly hair type of a situation. So that's what we're doing here and i'm putting the tracks, i'm doubling them so that i can get more hair on now, some of y'all, probably like girl. This is kinky curly hair. Why do you want that much hair on, but i like big, full lioness hair. So some people don't like it, but i'm not though some people, i love big hair. Honestly, my video wouldn't be complete unless one of my roommates interrupted in some type of way, like i'm, not sure exactly what was happening in this. But it's just the norm at this point like they just refuse to. Let me be great and report videos by myself. They just have to make appearances at this point, i'm used to it and you should be used to it too, and then she realizes that her hair isn't done so then she leaves, but that this is my first bundle sewn in and it was pretty. Actually, it came up pretty hot wow. She came back with her hairbrush. I am absolutely dead. It'S getting out of control, honestly, it's getting out of control, but this was my first bundle that i sewed in and it came up pretty high on my head y'all. I know i have a small lemon head. Okay, so i don't know how i'm gon na fit all of these bundles in my head, but somehow we gon na make a way um. So i am putting in the second bundle and mind you again. These are still double it. I don't begin to single weft until i get close to the top of my head just so that i can fit a lot of this hair in my head, and these wefts and bundles were pretty like it was pretty full. So i was very um pleased by having like how much hair was on the bundle itself. I was very pleased by that. So i see hair. Definitely if you haven't checked out this company, i did not get sponsored in this video at all, but this hair company has not done me any wrong now. This is my first time trying this hair texture, so i'm gon na. Definitely let you guys know how it is, but just the overall logistics of it, the shipping, the price, the amount of hair that comes on the wefts like. I have never been done wrong by icy beauty hair. I definitely am a fan of this company, so if you guys have not checked it out, please do so the first time that i did this method. I used their deep curly hair and that hair literally lasted me a year and some change like i still have that wig and i absolutely love it. It'S still the same for when i got it out of the pack, and i absolutely love that hair so um. I kind of wanted to replace that wig with this hair, so um. This is like you know my first initial like thoughts, and you know um perception of this hair from me getting it. This is kinky curly hair, like i said before, so i've never really dealt with kinky curly hair. So i'm really really nervous honestly to put this in my head as a sew-in, but i just took a chance because i knew it would mesh well with my natural hair. Speaking of my natural hair, i wasn't really sure how it would blend color wise, because my hair color naturally is like almost like a 3 4 ish. It'S really sandy brown, like it's a light brown and this hair comes like super dark brown. So almost like 1b, not black but like 1b ish - definitely dark on the darker side. So that was one of the things that i was really nervous about. With this hair was making sure it blended. Well, with my color and i kind of finessed it y'all know, y'all know i'm a finesse either way. I finessed it definitely, but i definitely um for future installs, i'm gon na dye, my natural hair, because i think that it would just blend a lot easier and more seamlessly if i had my hair dodged. So, as i get to the front of this sew-in and i'm beginning to flip over the tracks in the front, especially, i want to make sure that it is super flat. Okay, i don't want to have any bulky like flips and i won't be able to seamlessly put it up or you know if i needed to so what i'm doing is i told you guys that i'm double wefting and sewing it in, but as i get to That front braid and i flip it over - i only sew down the single weft. So when i flip it, i kind of pull back one of the wefts and then i only lay down flat kind of at an angle, the actual one weft that is left and then i continued to sew both of the wefts after that. So i just wanted to make sure i clarified that, because a lot of people want to have that seamless, look in the front if they do want to put it up, or you know, half up half down a ponytail pineapple type of situation, whatever it will be. Seamless as long as you only sew that one weft down - and you want to kind of go at like when you flip the wefts over, you want to kind of flip them going upward like toward the middle of your head, not too much, especially depending on how Much hair you're sewing in for me i'm trying to fit in three four or four bundles in this head. So i want to make sure that i have enough space to fit all of those bundles in. But if you're sewing in just two or even three, you want to make sure that you're flipping, you know at a pretty like upward angle. I hope you guys understand me explaining that. I know it was kind of like confusing and i was talking in circles. So hopefully you explain - or i explained it correctly, but um i'm coming up on this second bundle. This is my second full bundle and i definitely won't be able to fit four bundles in for sure, okay, but um. I just wanted to kind of fast forward. This third bundle - this is kind of nearing the end, and i'm talking about i squeezed the entire, like i don't know how i did it, but i squeezed the third bundle in by the hair on my chinny chin, chin. Okay, so i'm literally just sewing around um. The very edge of my two leave out braids and i'm trying to make sure that everything at the top is sewn in very tight. So we don't have no mishaps, no confusion and no apologies. When it comes to, you know, making sure that it is flat and laid down and secure. Also, i did definitely want to let you guys know that this whole thought wow. I can't speak this entire third bundle. I definitely um only single wefted it around. I didn't have it double wefted um. I really wanted it to be very flat and seamless going around. So i didn't want to you know: have it double with it because i feel like sometimes it kind of can look bulky so um. I just wanted to. Let you guys know that so to seal off this sew-in, i go ahead and triple knot the ends and then cut off that little piece of excess um track, and then i kind of pull out the hair. That kind of was left undone, but this is what it looks like just freshly put in. I was in love with this. I'M not even gon na lie to y'all like just the bigness, the flowiness of it and all of that, but i did just want to show you guys the finished official look, and this is what she looks like all made up. I actually had just got out of my game, so um i did a twist out on this hair. I had it twisted up for the game and then i just took them out for this little outro. I just wanted to show you guys what it was looking like, though um fully in and with my hair, like you know, all pressed out or whatever, but i hope that you guys enjoyed this video make sure you give it a big thumbs up, comment down below And don't forget to hit that subscribe button? I love you guys so freaking much. I can't wait to see in the next one give me a kiss

Daveonarave: Sorry commenting on this so late but I think you did a superb job. Sew in not easy to do on your own hair so you deserve a lot of credit for giving it a go and succeeding! Haha trust your roommate to visit you when you had sew in needle clenched in your teeth so couldn't even communicate with her properly lol but I'm sure your roommates admire your talent :)

Ariminta: In your description box it says that u got 20.22,24 & 26 inch bundles. But in your video you said that u started sewing in the 18inch. So just wanted to double check, was it the 20inch inch u sew in first at the bottom or 18inch? It looks super nice tho, just wanted to know the length cause I’m the same height as u and I liked the length of your sew-in.

Nadirah Croom: So, with kinky hair, you install it from shortest pieces to longest?

Lynne McMonagle: I recommend you research fast hair growth shampoo to double hair growth.
