Curly Single Strand Extensions (Micro Rings)

Hi guys welcome back to house of hair UK today, I'm going to be showing you an application of micro ring hair extensions, but this time on a client who's got curly hair. This is a really highly requested. Videos, you guys keep asking me: can you we're microwaving hair extensions when you've got curly hair and the answer is yes and I'm going to show you the application and talk over some of the maintenance tips for when you've got curly hair extensions? These are some of the tools that we're going to be using we're going to be using the section clips, the pliers, the latch hook, scissors and a rat tail comb. As you can see, this lady's hair was originally in bundles at house of hair. We customized color and we can make tips for your hair extensions. So if you have your own hair that you want to have turn into single strand, hair extensions just give us a call and send in your hair, and we can make that for you, I'm just going to show you quickly how I do my microwaving applications for Those of you haven't seen any of my other videos and seeing how I actually install the micro rings. I'Ve gone ahead and done all of the front of this clients hair. I like to start at the front, so you can get an idea of the volume and how many strands we will need and then I'll go in and start installing in the back. As you can see, I'm installing these hair extensions quite close to the scalp and there's a reason for this weave, curly hair. You do need to brush it more often so that your natural hair doesn't tangle up with the hair extensions, especially after you've washed. So you want to put the hair extensions quite close to the scalp, because all of the daily brushing will force them to slide down, but I've left enough space so that it's still flexible and she can tie her hair up in a hairband. So I've installed around 175 strands because this prize just wants a little bit of volume, she's more interested in having lengths. So I've put it about 175 strands and I'm just spraying it down with a little bit of water and conditioner. And then I go in and add some mousse just to help activate the curls so guys I've just got a couple of tips to help. You maintain your hair. Extensions first thing is: when you're washing it, you always want to make sure you're washing your hair. In a natural direction, not flipping it over your head and then washing it in the sink, you want to stand up in a shower and wash it. So it's going in a natural direction. The other thing is: do not put it in a hairband when it's still wet just blast the roots of your hair. With a hair dryer the ends they can still remain damp, but your roots, you want to make sure that they're dry once they're dry. You want to make sure that you are brushing your hair at least a few times a week from the roots where the micro Rings are all the way down to the end of your hair. So you want to get a soft brush or a tangle teezer. That will allow you to brush your hair and brush the beads without pulling on your natural hair. After filming this bit, we actually went in and added a couple more rows to the back of her hair, just to add some more volume, so she actually had around 190 strands in total.
