From Silky Straight To Kinky Straight | Boil Method

So these are 20 inches from the same pack of hair. I received them as a gift, but i have a straight wig, so i decided to make it kinky straight. So that's what today's video is going to be about. I'M going to convert this street here into kinky street. It came with three bundles in a closure, so these are the bundles and the closure. So i've converted one already to see if it will work. So we are going to be converting the closure and the other two remaining bundles, so stay tuned kindly subscribe. So basically, what you are going to be doing is to build cornrows on the closure or the frontal you have and then regular braids on the other. Bundles of hair, so i'm just going to go ahead and do my braid, my cornrow on my closure. I pinned it to the mannequin using some pins and then i'm braiding coral. So it's a three-part closure, so i ended up building full cornrows on the closure and because it's new here it hasn't been washed. Also, it's quite slippery, so my cornrows weren't that straight, but it doesn't really matter. All you need to make sure to do is to braid your cornrows as tight as possible and breathe till the very end of the head like to the smallest piece of hair. You have to make sure you continue braiding else. You have very straight ends, so you continue braiding until you get to the very end and as you can see, i braided i did a good job braiding to the very end, and these are my four cornrows and these are the ends of the cornrow and i'm Just going to go ahead and breathe the two remaining bundles, i just use a headband to secure them on my mannequin and i paint them. Then i start braiding so, depending on how big the the bundle is, you can do six seven or eight beads spare bundle. I did seven beads per bundle and i think it was okay for me we're going to make the braids not too big and not too small, so look yeah, so i'm just going to make them like so and you're going to braid till you get to the Very and if you don't you're, going to get straight ends - and you don't want that - you want the straight ends to be as short as possible, so make sure you're braiding till the very end. So i have all of them. Braided up and i'm just going to put them in boiling water for 15 minutes and just allow them to boil then after boiling i'm just going to leave them to air dry overnight. You know there is no way my mom was going to allow me to use a glass to boil my hair, so i had to use a coat pot and an old saucepan that i used to use in school. So i allowed to go for 15 minutes. So i'm just going to allow them to air dry like this. You can also unravel them and dry them first. So this is how it's looking after i unravel the braids, i'm just going to comb it out to make it look more fluffy and look more like a kinky straight hair. So in combing out, i used my detangling brush and you want to be as gentle as possible just to make sure your hair doesn't rip up much mine didn't and shed much. So that's a good thing for me, but just be sure that you are gentle on your hair. So that's basically it just try and comb it up as much as possible and then pat it open it up and comb it, because some parts of it i'd still be coiled up. I had this video sitting down from like literally ellie a guest, and i didn't know i haven't uploaded it, but i finally did. I saw other people using the boil method and they were boiling their hair for like one and a half hours but and 15 minutes was okay for me. So i'm still wondering this is all the amount of shedding i got from the entire two bundles and the closure. So i guess it's quite good here it doesn't shed much and it feels so soft to now.
