Hey youtube today: we're gon na be doing a tape and extensions tutorial. Okay, let's start with the unboxing, I got these off of Amazon they're called full shine. Extension taping, that's exactly where you have the right into Amazon, I'll, go ahead and put that down below. So you guys can see that and type that in if you want, I wasn't sure how many boxes I needed, but for ended up being really good for my hair, I thought I was gon na order way too many, but it was a good amount and I Had a good amount left over I've been doing my hair for a very long time, and I've always done the glue ends and they're really messy these compared to the gluon. Extensions are packaged a lot nicer. Okay, when you order a box of a hair extension tape. Ins, it comes with pieces of 20, but that doesn't mean that you're gon na have 20 pieces, so to say, you're gon na actually have only 10 hair sandwiches and I'll show you guys what that means here in a little bit. That white part is this sticky part you remove that white part and you lay it flat on your head. If I walk up to that, you guys right now, I'm taking out all the pieces of hair and I like to lay them out before I actually get started on my own hair. Let'S look at the packaging real quick. The first one says human hair, fully saleable weightless, comfortable, quick, install and DIY. I'Ve got these 18 inches because that's how long I wanted my hair, my hair is usually above my shoulders. I was ready for a big change and I loved it. These also come with like a little instruction handbook, which is really neat. I love it. I'Ve never seen any of the packaging cometh like a little book, which was really handy. Okay. Earlier I was saying you have 20 pieces, but that means you have 10 sandwiches. So let me show you what that means: they're very thin, if they're only by themselves. So what you're gon na do is you're gon na put one on your hair you're gon na leave a little bit of your own in between one and then kind of take the other one on top and that's gon na make one full extension. So when you're ordering hair for your head, if you have thick hair, I have a lot of hair, look a lot of hair and it's thick, I ordered four boxes and it was the perfect amount. So the first thing I did was, I straighten my hair out. Just so, it would blend in with the extensions a little easier again. This is the sandwich one on top of the other. It is going to be slightly difficult if you do it on yourself, but is it possible? Absolutely? It just takes a lot of patience and a lot of Jesus okay. So the first thing we're going to do is section off the whole hair. Get a hair tie girl tie that hair back okay, okay, very important is the one finger rule, you're gon na make sure you have one finger from every single side, it's about one inch from the bottom and from every side. Why is this important? Because if you put your hair up, if you style it, you will not be able to see the hair extension. The tape in part, because your natural hair is covering it okay, so with the first one. Now that it's set with your one-inch rule from all sides get your second one ready, you're gon na slip that extension up get enough of your own hair, but not too much so that both tapes kind of hold together see it's barely enough. But it's good enough and then you're gon na place the other extension right. On top of that other sticky part, I'm gon na show you very easy. It is a lot easier than it looks once you have placed it on there, you're just gon na kind of squeeze them both together and you're done. Your first extension is set before I put you guys in fast mode when you go from the bottom up. You'Re gon na put one set to one sandwich, as you continue to go up. Your hair line extends when it comes to the right moment. You'Re gon na add two extensions. I might. I probably could have put two on that bottom one, but I like to kind of start low and then whatever is left over. I fill in the gaps with my hair extensions. If that makes any sense, it does right. Okay, so with the next one, on top you're gon na lay enough of your own hair to cover the hair extension and then you're gon na do one more layer and that's where your next hair extension is gon na go so in between tapings you're leaving enough Of your own hair to cover it and then you're setting your whole foundation for your next step. Something else I have to mention that's very important. Is you don't want to go too high in hairline, because if you style it from the top you'll be able to see it when you're kind of like swishing your hair back, so just leave enough room when you get to the top? If you part it in the middle, if you parted sideways, leave enough room so that your hair extensions don't show. I part my hair on the side and that's where I kind of went a little high on the side. Same rule applies, for the other side of your head, tie everything back and work from the bottom up following the side rules; okay, so when you're done with both of the sides, this is what I like to do you going to do what works for you, but This is what works for me. I tie the hair back the part I need to work on still while I braid the front the areas that I am done with. I don't like to put them in ponytails, because I don't like those dents in my hair, but if that works for you, if that is best, go ahead and do that this is the part that everyone freaks out with is the back believe it or not. It'S the same rules that apply with the sides you're just kind of trusting yourself. If you have someone to help you great, if not you can do it, don't freak out. I do it on my own. So can you so measure the same thing? One inch you can come and fill those gaps in later measure the sides one inch you have to have enough hair on the bottom. So if you saw that I actually left a bigger chunk on my backs, and I did on my sides - and that is because, if I want to put my hair up in a bun, I have a lot of hair to cover. The bottom extension leave a lot and then leave enough for your extension and just apply the bottom you're gon na start off with two extensions and as you go up on the head, it'll be three four and five and I'll. Let you guys know what happens when you get to the crown of your head here we go if you're like me, you could use all the help you can get. I found this picture on the internet and this is a really good guy that you can follow. You shouldn't go all the way up to your clown, but I do only because I know how to style my hair, but if you're starting off this is how far you should go. Okay, so this is pretty accurate to that photo. But my hair is really short. So if I stop there, my hair would not look good. It would look super choppy. It is not recommended because at the crown of your head, that's where most people get like that pillow head, if you see like I have that dent right there, but I like to push my limits and I just really self-conscious about it. I'Ve teased the hair there and you can't ever see the tape in I push it to the max and go all the way to the top. It'S enough room for one. That'S what I do not recommend it for the best results. But you know that's just what I do so it's up to you guys totally up to you when you're done, you can go through your hair and if it's choppy anywhere go ahead and add an extra sandwich do what you got to do, but otherwise you're done You'Re ready to curl it wash it style, it feel your best look your best. I hope you guys liked my video. I hope it helps if you guys want to see Indian future comment below otherwise like subscribe, follow, see you guys later. Thank you so much for watching. I had a lot of fun.

Janelle Brown: I just started doing my own tape ins. I'm so glad I found this video ❤️ Super helpful. Thank you so much for explaining so well. I do want to know how you got your hair so shiny and healthy?

Kao Eye: Your video on this is by far the best i've seen. Relateable, easy to follow and you look great! Putting my black tape ins in tomorrow. I've been doing my own dread extensions for a million yrs so this should be okay. Fingers crossed. <3

Erika Dagel: Thank you so much for your tutorial, I followed your instructions and My hair looks amazing, natural and so comfortable. Thank you so much.

Jessica Emilia: I really appreciate this video. It’s honestly one of the best I have seen! I don’t believe she mentioned it and I watched it at least three times while I was installing my own but it’s recommended that you wait minimum two days so 48 hours before you actually wash the hair; if you can wait three days. Other than that a fantastic video and I thank her.

Critter Lover: I've been struggling to put tape in extensions into my thinning hair, even with a pull-out mirror, till I found your video! All other demos I've found say to put the top weft in first. Well, you've proven them all wrong! I just put in a new weft YOUR way, and it went in perfectly, securely, and SO easily! Now I'm hoping to finish the rest of my head without having to redo too many along the way. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You Rock!

Gail Schnitzer: It looks beautiful... I finally got a good extension tape that holds... Some extension tapes are better than others... Your regular hair looks beautiful also, nice haircut too.

cvntfliction: This is the best tape in hair tutorial I’ve found!! I’m using this one to do mine when they come :) thank you!! Also how many sandwiches did you do all together???

Rhiannon McLean: I’ve been waiting so long to try tape ins because I didn’t think I could handle installing them. This video made me invest in some so I can do my own hair! Thank you!

Duchess: Perfection, I love the way you explained everything. A whole lot Jesus, I can only imagine. Hope I can do this.

Kayla Warner: I got the same kind in blonde and dyed it red to match my hair. Came out beautiful and was easy to instal. Thanks for the video!

Amanda Hensley: Thank you for showing the sides and and everything. So many people do the first two rows and say “repeat I. The rest of your head... like GIRL I NEED MORE

Sian Smith: Great tutorial. Easy to follow.

Mike and Mom: Beautifully done!♥️

robeeenz: Your video really helped me!! Thank you! My hair looks bomb now thanks to you

Jade Wilson: Tapes around the hair line should be at an angle, especially around the front on the hair, to help it blend and to prevent added strain on finer hairs. And a lot of these were placed too close to the root, which is why they stuck out a little bit instead of lying flat, this can cause tension and often be painful. Still looks fab though ✌️

Kara here: You make it look so easy and it came out perfect! Is there a special way to wash your hair with the tape ins?Do they tangle easy or are they easy enough to comb when wet or dry?

Kalyn K: I really like your technique of putting the first extension on the top rather then the bottom. It seems easier, definitely going to try this. Just wish I could find tape that lasts and I dont lose extensions after every wash.

Lisandra Pereira: Did she really need that badass knife to open a box cause that was awesome lmao

Pingpong1233: Thank you so much it’s really help I will try to do it myself too. Less expensive:)

Oksana and Mark: I am going to be doing my wife’s hair you have been a great help. Fingers crossed

Athena Dresselhouse: O M Gee.... Just started looking into tape in's and YOU my dear have been the most realistic!!!! Love ur pink ring love ur nails love ur makeup... like WOE u are amazing and thank u for such a simple video!!!! Quick question tho... how long do they last u?

dcheyenne: I just followed your video and they turned out better than I actually expected! I might need a few more sandwiches but over all it looks good. Thanks

Luanne Brown: This was so helpful! Thank you .

Monica.: Great video!! Your hair looks gorgeous!

Lpg 8: Your own hair is gorgeous, I'm just trying to grown mine were yours naturally sits LOL!! I've tried this method, but it's hard to match the bottom and top tapes evenly together. If you don't get the part and align them right, you will experience pulling of hair strands. If your head is not too sensitive I guess this is OK, mine isn't.

Farah Dina: I would like to know how long this Extension will last to stay on the hair?

Extra Casas: I loved this tutorial, it is just what I was looking to put them at home ... how many packages did you need?

Lea Seberg Fladstad: Has anyone else started wearing extensions also just because you have also had problems having short and thin hair for a long time and not been able to get long and thick hair again which you don't have patience or not even have time to wait for some special reasons as me? How long can tape extensions be on hair before it had to be removed, can it be used again several times on hair, how long can tape extensions be on hair before it had to be removed, how long do I have to be without tape extensions on my hair before I can wear it again, how long can it last before it gets worn out, how many tape exensions do I need for short and thin hair when I want long and thick hair, how can I keep it on my hair without it falling off, does it feels natural like our own hair when we wear it, will tape attachment be invisible on short and thin hair, can it make hair worn, how to blow-dry my hair and tape extensions without it being worn if tape extensions have to be blow-dryed every time I wash both my hair and tape extensions and do tape extensions need any other products than just extra tape, remover and another shampoo and conditioner?

Bella Noche: Last but important question, can you do this after a glass of wine? or two- four?

Lea Seberg Fladstad: Can tape extensions easily cause hairloss even when I have only used it once and gently tore them off my hair instead of extensions remover?

paula rad: Pisicuța este dulcica! Felicitări te descurci singurica!

Amanda Hensley: Do you think I can do this in my growing out pixie cut

Chris Hall: My first time I started in the back & I have fine hair but a lot of it .. I have 2 packs of 20 inch zala I messed up I put to many in the back & not enough on the sides & top.. & I couldn’t see I had no clips to section. My grandson has destroyed them.. but there re taped & ready to go again.. I know what mistakes I made the first time.. wish me luck pray for me…

paula rad: Belisimoooooooooooooo!

Anamaria Flores: If you use a tail comb it’s easier and you get cleaner lines

CRAZY HORSE: Dose this ruin your own hair?

ANA B VLOGS ✌🏽: What brand are your hair extension

Isa Diaz: I enjoyed the tutorial, but your background music was way too loud

rosa lina: You have already beautiful black hair . .you dont need hair extensions .

Lea Seberg Fladstad: Can SugarBearHair Vitamins still fix my hair least after almost eight months even when I have only once tried tape extensions and gently tore them off my hair insted of extensions remover?
