How To Retape Extensions With Single Tape - Ft Zala Hair Extensions

Hey guys, so my last retaping video was so popular I thought I'd show you how to do it using single tape, rather than doubled tape.

These extensions and tape are from an Australian hair extensions company called Zala Hair Extensions. They sent me a set of extensions and retaping equipment for review and everything I received was amazing quality.

Hope you enjoy the video! Any questions? Leave em below!

Comment below "Sticky Stuff" if you read this far!

Hey guys, I'm imagine my channels, so I've already done a retaping video before, but it had double tapes so thick tape. This is the thin one line tape. If you are to do this at home yourself and you, you know, you're going to be doing it over and over and over again, I'd probably recommend to get the double tape just so that it lasts a bit longer. So what we're going to do first is we're going to brush through the extensions makes it a bit easier later on we're pulling that part. I didn't sound too good, we're not going to pull them apart that you get what I mean, okay, so we'll move. The second one out of the way now what you're gon na do, is get your fingernail in the end here and carefully and slowly pull it open. Okay, the reason we brush it is so that, when we're pulling apart like this, there's no knots keeping them together and everything so because this is still sticky. I'M just gon na stick it on the edge of my board so that it doesn't go anywhere. And I don't get any fluff on it or anything like that, so because all this is still sticky. What you want to do is you want to start at the bottom and roll the stickiness up? It'S just like. If you, the more you roll it, the less sticky it becomes so you'll see it just all gathering into a big yucky ball at the top, and then you can remove it, and it comes off with your finger like that now it will still be a little Bit tacky in places, don't worry about that! That'S fine! Get rid of this roll it up into a ball will make it less sticky. Stick it up in the corner of your board so that it's out of the way - and you have one that's ready so because it's still got a little bit of tackiness in places. You can stick that and it'll barely hang on, but you can put it at the top of your board away from this one. Now we're just gon na do this one. Now we roll that up get rid of that again and you're just making a disgusting little pile of sticky stuff in the corner of your board. So with your tape, flick it up at the edge. You can do this a couple of different ways, but this is just the way that I find it to be easiest. Oh and it's stuck on a nail. This stuff is so temperamental, so I, when I was starting, I like to leave this first little bit. That'S just my grip section to get it started, and then I like to lay it gently. On top of the extension pick up the extension press it down a bit more now, roll out the tape a bit more grab. Your second extension place it directly. Next to the original one, just position it around a little bit and press it yeah. So you grab your miniscule scissors, these actually nail scissors, but it's so easy to work with, and you cut the yucky and stick that on the corner of your board, cut this and move that out of the way and there you go, you have it it's done. I like to leave them like this until I'm actually about to put them in my hair, because then you know which is paired with which, if you cut them in half, then they're just going to go into a big pile and you're not going to know, which Is which? And because I have my tapes all layered, I really like to keep them in their individual pair now I will cut them so that you can see how to do it just for the purpose of this video, so you just want to grab them, bend them back In half and you'll see an exposed, a little white bit of tape, carefully cut it like that smooth down the edges and the ends of both and they're done, ready to put in your hair again want to see it again. Let'S do it again, so there will be times where the the tape is a lot more difficult to open. You just need to remember to be very patient and slow, because I was really impatient the first I did it and I ended up pulling it apart too fast and the actual tape itself split in half and broke one of my extensions, so we're gon na put The secondary one stick it on the side of the board, we're going to just roll it and the owns free and clear. Now these are actually taped. I'Ve already retyped these before and put them back in my hair. So this is exactly what will happen after your second time, every taping. Basically, the first time is exactly the same as well. When you first order your extensions and then you take them out, you will find that the first tape is a little bit more difficult to get off, but it's manageable and we're all done. Thank you so much for watching guys, don't forget to Like comment and subscribe. If you do have the double tape, which is just quite thick compared to this one, then I will link below my last re taping, your hair extensions video, and you can check that out just so that you know an easier way to do it with double tape And yeah I'll see you next time, bye,
