Hi guys welcome back to my Channel today I have a tape and hair extension video for you guys. I know that in my blog I was like oh yeah, like I got cheapens review coming soon, here's the review - I know some of you guys have been wondering and asking so I want to share it with you. These hair extensions are from a company called irresistible me. They did send these to me for a review. I was not paid. I was not sponsored. They just sent me these hair extensions to review, for you guys and give my honest opinion. So that's what I'm going to be doing. It'S kind of a mixed opinion review. It'S not the most positive, it's not all negative, but um yeah, I'm just going to jump right in so when you order the hair. This is what it gets shipped in. It'S just a little like Ziploc packaging. That says ears is so easy. These are the hair extensions. These are all the ones that have fallen out, we'll get to that later, um and then over. Here you have like a tester side, so you have to open this side first to see if the color matches for you, if you like the quality and etc. If you open this side and decide you don't like the folly or it's not a red color match for you. These are now non-returnable um. So that's just like a little tip, because if you like just get so excited you rip it open. You'Re, like oh, my god, it doesn't match. You can't set it back to get the look that I achieved. I'Ve had to use four packs of hair. The packs of hair run about $ 100 each, so they are kind of pricey. Let'S just want to keep in mind. These are 20 inch. Human hair extensions in the shade 1b, which is like an off black color, and my first impression of the hair, when I first laid out of the package was wow. This is amazing. It was soft. It was silky, it felt great, it was nice and thick, and I was super super excited so when you're the first to get on the package, it kind of looks like this. This is the one that is falling out already, but um. It looks like this. They come as like, singulars like this, and they have like a piece of white tape here and then what your stylist will do is she'll. Take a thin section of hair place it in between the two tapes and then press them together, and then you have your one tape in. I have some footage on like a stick in here, for you guys of me getting it done yeah. So, as I said, the quality when I first got the hair was, it was super soft. It was super silky. It was really really amazing. It was thick. I was like wow she's gon na be great. These are gon na, be the best hair extensions. I'Ve ever had, I had really really high hopes when I went to the site my hair stylist she's, like wow. His hair, is really really nice and super soft and super silky whatever she was really really happy issues with the quality of the hair. I think she even like gave a client of recommendation like another client, a recommendation for this hair, so I'm like perfect, but this is gon na be fabulous. These are amazing winner, so that was my first impression of the hair. Let'S fast-forward to the first time, I'm watching so with t-pins you're, not supposed to watch her hair for believe 48 to 72 hours, because that's how long it takes for the blue to kind of like cure and the bond the bully seal. So I listened to that very well. I did not wash my hair and I have super oily. Hair have very fine hair, so for me to go three days is not watching. My hair was kind of like a huge deal. I, like doused, my head in dry, shampoo, eMeter, so three days later after the 72 hours are up it's time to wash my hair and I'm nervous, I'm like I don't know like because there are all these individual pieces in in your head with your hair kind Of in-between, so you have to kind of like maneuver your fingers around the tape and swatch your hair. So I was like panicked. I was like all right. I'M gon na go to a blow-dry bar, I'm gon na. Have them shampoo, my hair for the first time. Maybe like show me how to do it and I can get a better handle on it, so I can do it at home. So I go to a blow-dry power shampoo, my hair she's blowing out my hair and the extensions start to slip out. I lost one right there in the chair three days later and that immediately set me into a panic. I was like my god like because you're all gon na start sleeping on my head whatever, and I if I had like gone like this, to feel some of the ones lower in my head mm-hmm. They were sticky and that's not good, because that means that the glue is kind of falling apart and breaking down, so I was like heck is going on, so that was that was three days after I had them in. But after that I went on vacation to the Jersey Shore, they've been in ocean water, they had been in chlorine and they seemed to be fine. I didn't have any more slippage, so that was fine. They still were sticky to the touch like in the back of my head and stuff, but it was nothing crazy in the end, so I'm gon na leave it there. Now I'm going to talk about the pros and cons in my opinion, so the pros to tape. Ins are that they're virtually undetectable, and I can run my hand on my head right now and I don't feel anything they're super super flap to the head, so they look very natural you're, not gon na feel and your partner's, not gon na feel them. If they're, like touching your head like this or anything, I know that when I had the partial sewin, it was kind of bulky right here and it was really hard to disguise, especially because I had thin hair. So with these it's really really natural-looking. You can't really see that in my hair, until my hair starts to get oily and started separating and things like that, another Pro is, I love to be able to just like wake up with my hair in my head. It'S super convenient if I have to get out the door or, if I just want to like wake up and fill in or whatever I can just wake up. Have my hair, my head and go, I don't have to like wash my hair blow-dry. My hair then clip in my extensions and style it. You know it's just nice to just have your hair in your head, which is kind of like a pro to any semi-permanent type of hair extension, but I mean to stay with a pro with these. The last I've been a pro I have is that the hair itself is a thick quality. Now there is a con that goes to that, but it is a pro that it's thick, because you don't really want, like straggly thin nasty hair as your tape ends. If you already are using extensions to kind of get rid of, maybe like a thinning hair problem or just not enough volume or not enough hair, you kinda want the hair to be thick and everything you ever wanted. Basically, Jill isn't my pros. Now, let's talk about my cons, the first column, which is kind of the biggest con to me, is that I can't curl this hair. This hair will not hold a curl it just frizz this out and gets unruly looking. It looks like Bed Head, it mats up in a tangle, so I've even gone so far as like sectioning out piece by piece. So every little extension like this I have curled individually and then sprayed with hairspray and nope the second I am done with my hair and I'm like okay, this is nice. It frizz out. Unbelievably it mattes up. It drops the curl, it just looks like Bed Head and not in a good way. So that's definitely a big con for me because I don't like work, my hair straight all the time I'll be the first one to say it. I don't love the way straight. Hair looks and myself that's just a thing that I've always had. I like volume in my hair, I like it to be bouncy. I like to have curls. So that's a huge con for me. Another con is that the hair is frizzy like frizzy frizzy and it's kind of weird to me because I'll shampoo and condition my hair in the shower, then I'll come out and leave. But it's a 10 miracle leave-in light and like the ends and the mid shot and my hair is still a tingly frizzy mess. So that's all I can say for the quality of the hair. It gets a thumbs down in my opinion, because I don't want hair that I can't curl. I can't style - and I can't look nice with unless it's straight and even still when it's straight I have to continuously brush like, I can feel a matte building up in the back. I have to continuously brush and make sure that's detangled and the last, and possibly the biggest con is that they slip out of my head. I have had multiple extensions, probably ten or so slip out of my head completely, so this entire side is filled with extensions that have fallen out of my head, which is kind of an oboe like you definitely don't want your extensions to slip on your head. I had these installed on August, 2nd and today September 5th, when I'm filming this, so it has been a month. They are supposed to laugh in here from six to eight weeks, so in no way have they held on to any type of longevity. They just kind of slip down to my hair and honestly, I'm ready to take them out at this point, because it's just not what I wanted. So there are like pros and cons to every type of hair extension, but you kind of just have to like figure out what's best for you. So, as far as like the slipping out goes, I don't know if that's like a quality issue or if that was maybe like a stylist mistake, I'm not sure. As I said, this is my first time with tape and I really don't know so. I can't really say, as far as like, maybe the glue is not strong or if maybe my stylist wasn't putting enough pressure. I really don't know, I'm just wanting to say that so a couple tips if you are debating I'm getting some t pins are you have to use sulfate free, shampoo and conditioner, and that is a huge tip. If you use a shampoo that has sulfates in it, it will eat the bond, it'll eat the glue, and your hair will just slip out of your head, so even quicker than maybe these well um. So it's definitely a tip. Also do not put any product on the bond again, the product will eat the glue and your hair will slip out your head now to wrap it up. What I recommend these particular hair extensions know. What I've experienced in the past month is a quality issue. As far as like the hair frizzing out and not being able to hold a curl, because I mean I'm no stranger to curling my hair, I curl my hair all the time. That'S basically the only way I wear my hair, it's either and some type of curl or some type of wave. So it's not my tools, it's not anything, I'm doing it's a quality issue when it comes to holding the curl um. So, as far as that goes, I don't think I'd recommend the hair, because I I mean who wants to just wear your hair one way, maybe you do but not me so as far as that goes, I wouldn't recommend the hair now what I recommend tape in Hair extensions as a whole - I don't know I'm going to give tape - is another shot, I'm actually going on September 13th to get my to get new T pins put in my head at a different salon with different hair um. I actually was watching melissa flores here in youtube, and she talked about her experience with t pins. She ordered her hair off of amazon and went to a salon in new jersey, which is only about an hour away for me. So I am gon na go that route. I'M gon na order, the same hair. She did and go to the same salon. She did because I had an amazing experience with t-pins and I wanted to see. Maybe if I can have an amazing experience as well or if it's something I'm doing or or what's going on like if my hair stood thin, I don't know so. I am gon na go to her stylist and use the same hair she did and see. If I can get the same result - and I will give you guys like an update, a vlog or something on how I liked it so that's kind of where I stand with tapings - it's I'm kind of torn down the middle. I don't love them, I don't hate them, I'm just kind of torn I'm kind of confused. I don't know if I just had a bad experience. I don't know if the hair is bad. I don't know like. I don't know if the glue with that, I don't know, I don't know so, that's all I have for you guys today. I will film an update video guys if you want like a full update yesterday like in another month or so after I get. The other team is installed to see. If I liked the experience to see if those held up, compare and contrast that kind of thing, let me know if you'd like to see that in the comment section down below but yeah, that's all I have for you guys today. I hope you enjoyed this video in some way. I hope it was helpful. I hope you're all having an amazing day an amazing week and I'll talk to you soon. Bye,

TAM DOLL: That hair company really tried it! Wow I feel like they sent you synthetic hair because only synthetic hair acts like that

Annuh: I've never been into the idea of tape-in extensions. I feel like everyone I see who has them is always having to get them re-done. And the price seems pretty steep for that. I bought a $250 pair of clip-ins from Bellami last fall and I love them. I go in phases where I wear them a lot or not at all. I'm still not convinced on the tape-ins. Thanks for sharing though! I love your honesty!!

Stephanie Carollo: I love how straight hair looks on you! I wish my hair was way longer but hair extensions and my thick hair do not mix well!

clipinqueen: Great vid. I just wanted to note that I have been wearing tape in extensions (DIY) for over 10 years and sulfate shampoos have never affected them. In fact, I will often use a purifying shampoo (harsh with sulfates) to wash away residue once a week, then do a deep conditioning treatment on them. If you have good hair and a good install, the kind of shampoo and conditioner you use should not matter - JMO! Thanks.

Bee Critch: I've been a stylist for many years and I love tape ins for fine hair, but they must be installed properly! If the sections are too thick they will not bond correctly! Also, when you shower, only scrub the top of your head (above the extensions). Do not condition the scalp...just mid length to ends. Braid them at night to keep them from frizzing out or getting loose. If yours had a problem curling, they must have been a synthetic mix (so many brands claim to use 100% human hair...they lie)! Or they were hyper chemically treated to be shiny and soft and now won't hold a style. Try HOT HEADS brand. They are fantastic. You won't have a problem styling them and they are a stylist only brand. So yeah, I think this is partially stylist error, partially shitty hair (even though it felt nice, if it won't style for you...what's the point?!) and partially poor maintenance (no fault of your own if you were not set up well) I hope you have a better experience in the future:) wishing you the best!!

Chanelle Quinones: Thanks for this honest review! I really appreciate that you said the negative aspects as well as positive.

Jessica Maitland: Bohyme hair is absolutely wonderful! A little more pricey I paid $405 for three packs of ten but I love love them no fallout no frizz and so easy to maintain. I wasn't a fan of hot heads either I tried before I switched to bohyme edit; I'm a certified hair stylist not just a random trying to recommend hair haha

FemaleNico: The hair color match is A1! Hey can you do a detailed room tour? Loving the background

Theresa: secure them with some heat from a flat iron after you sandwich them together lol xD ... they won't slip out from your hair.. don't know how good it is for your hair but it works for me.

Jasmine Ferguson: I feel you when I was little my hair was thick long curly hair but as I got older my hair is thin!... And I also wear extensions for a fuller look

sunnysmiles131: Maybe the stylist didn't have a lot of experience with tape ins ..we live and learn lol good luck with the next set pretty!

VoiceOverAudioJanet: Try Glam Seamless. Only wash your hair once a week and remember to deep condition the ends. Before using any heat tools I'd recommend Frizz Ease Heat Protection Serum (not near the roots of your hair). Tape ins last much longer if you don't dye them or put heat to them often. Braid them every single night, try to use a satin pillow if possible and make sure you're using the correct type of brush that is gentle on your hair. Never brush from the top, but always hold your extensions midway down and start at the bottom. It's recommended to brush 3 x daily. I use a wet brush for this but a wide tooth comb when hair is wet. Finally, don't let your wet hair just hang lose as it will tug on your extensions adding weight. Towel dry gently and thoroughly and let each side rest on each shoulder to air dry if possible.

Tracey Medd: I love the straight hair girl ! you look great :)

Amber ⭐️: Ugh tape ins seem like so much of a hassle. I just go with clip ins, then I can take them out whenever I want

♡prncessmichaela♡: I really like the straight hair on you! It looks really sleek!

Jen Koukos: Looking gorgeous. That rose color shirt was a great buy. I don't care much for extensions in general but I enjoyed watching your review on them.

Scarlett Fox: from what i saw the stylist picked up a little too much hair it needs to be minimal hair as possible. I've worn tapes for years and even tried this brand and it was fine xx

Norma Earnisse: I guess it depends on the Quality of the hair and I’m thinking the glue because for me I’ve had tape and this is my second time around and I’ve had mine for five weeks now and so far so good they’ve been holding on really good so I guess it depends on the quality of the hair and also the glue thank you so much for sharing.

brianaarnelle: Blowing out your hair with tape ins I’ve personally found is a horrible mistake you aren’t supposed to tug while the hair is wet. But it does sound like they are not using the best glue on the market! Make sure your using Sulfate and paraben free shampoo and conditioner I use a healthy sexy hair line it’s called “long sexy hair” ! Hope this helps anyone xo

sarah Mitchell: I'm so going to wait for the other hair review.. Not trying this brand! Thanks love !

Dora Chavez: Sorry they didn't work for you. Love watching you

thatdamnstarship: IM was the worst brand I've used. Them and Bellami. For the prices you pay they're effing horrid

mahogany redd: Already i think i know why they fell out.. I saw another vid on this an although she parted the hair in the same fashion she also after she taped in the very first tape in she REMOVED some on the hair so the secrion was even thiner so the tape would actually stick together. Ur stylist isnt leaven room for the tape to touch.get ur money back for the installation.!!!

Franceska's YouTube: Looking good as usual :) xoxoxo

Sarah S: My guess is it was the dry shampoo making them fall out so early ..my stylist says no Product or washing for 48 hours ..dry shampoo has alcohol

Melody Patterson: I wear Bombay tape ins....best hair i've ever used!!!

nolanllano: Well your stylist did a terrible job at applying them lol

Alina Flores: Did u try the another tape in extension yet? I wanna know how that went. xxoo

Just: Oh, I'm currently waiting for zala tape in extensions. I already heard, that some brands have good hair but bad tape and now I'm a little afraid. They are so expensive, I don't want to put too much work in them or constantly be worried that they fall out in public.

Mrs. Mike: You need to flat iron them in so they stick to you hair.. or they do fall out

Hannah Dages: It's definitely not all human hair. These types of companies use hair from sewers, dead people, and brushes with dead hair. Than they chemically treat them and put a bunch of silicone on them. They overcharge that hair. It's best to get tape ins from a hair stylist where they can actually get ahold of amazing quality hair. It's not cheap but it's worth it. And luckily for me my friend let me use her license so I can order amazing quality extensions. Let me know if ya need some I gotcha lol.

Megan: Girl I'm living for that shirt

candy cardenas: Gabby I love you !!!!!

Alexis Stanford: I HATE tape ins. Bonded hair extensions are pricey but they look so natural & rarely fall out. I'll never do anything other than bonded extension again!

Lita Warner: It seems to me they were installed to thick maybe if your stylist would have used a thinner sections they would have stayed in . I have been doing hair for 20 years and I love tape ins .

Mocha: Your partial sew in wasnt applied correctly if it was bulky

Alonnie and Seth: Try Zala Hair Extensions, I used their tape ins for every six months for about a year and a half, they were so great!

Nicki Dee: Irresistible me hair quality is terrible!! I tried the clip ins.... giirrrlllll ‍♀️ check out my review on them

Adilenne Avery: Your stylist looks liked she was leaving wayyy to much hair in between the tape ins. Maybe that's why they fell out?

Alejandra Contreras: Hermosa ❤️

Adriana Abeyta: As a cosmotologist honestly I never recommend tape or glue in extensions no matter how much I can tell you how to care for them or wash them its just not sanitary period it harder to keep you scalp clean I recommend the clip in atleast you can take them off and there are technique to make them look natural you can still wear your hair up Ive had clients who come back losing hair or mold growing... your hair just needs to breath...if you can handle the care go for it but I dont recommend it...yes it can make me money but I try to be as honest I rather you spend money on clip ins which I can teach someone how to take care of them and how to make them last and making sure you get good quality extensions you pay so much to have to always fill them back in or having to buy more my extentions have lasted me 8 months to a year I have 3 sets I have some to wear my hair scrunchy or curly...I have some for straight hair and I have a set to use for curling my hair so I dont wear em out and use the right product from cosmo prof I never use drug store products...

mahogany redd: If the hair was good quality id say hot glue clips on them??

Pey Peach: did the lady who installed your extension seal them with a flat iron at the top if she didnt take a flat iron on low heat and clamp it down a few seconds

Jasmine: Do they tangle super bad ?? And thick from Bottom to top? ALSO do they shed a lot ..?

GWEN WILSON: Bitch you so pretty!!!!! <3 subbed.

Bella: my tapeins last 12 weeks I use bombay hair

Phoenix Dawson: My hair used to be this long then I it it really short

Julie Vargas: then it was the person who installed them.

gabbies makeup & mascara: Lol shirt tag in the back in mirror

Sarah Saunders: I hate tape ins they never worked for me. My hair is too fine I think.

Susan Abderhalden: try wavy hair

NaturalsRock-com: lol, went kinda hard on the freebies

Mimi: Your hair stylist clearly did a terrible job also the hair could not be a good quality hair. I apply tape in on myself, they last for 6-8 weeks and even then they never fall out it’s just time to reapply as the hair is growing and they no longer sit close to the scalp.

mm ss ss mm: You look just like peprica from the movie cabin fever part 2

kandice:

Michelle: Ummm... I LIKE YOU

Edvard ikke munch: you sound like trisha paytas

Glam Seamless: Their quality is NOT good! Try GLAM SEAMLESS tape ins - salon quality hair!!!
