I got my hair extensions at http://www.mypinkvanity.com

The colours of extensions I got were:

120 gram Beach Blond

120 gram Vanilla Latte

The dye I used:

Two boxes of L'Oreal Paris Excellence Creme F3 Golden Brown

FTC: The extensions were a gift from http://mypinkvanity.com. I am not being compensated for this video. These are my opinions :)

Hey everybody, so I just got a new set of lush locks, extensions and when they come in, I'm gon na explain to you the colors and everything, but when they come in, they don't match my hair and none of the colors match my hair, especially because my Hair is little lighted and highlighted and it's just a really hard color to match. So I always dye my hair myself. While I low light it myself, I don't dye it cuz like well, anyways I'll show you guys - and this is like a video kind of showing taking you step by step, telling you what I do to low-light my hair and to get a match. Basically, this. This is the piece that I did. This is the van I got two colors vanilla, latte and the beach blonde. The beach blonde is what usually, what I use too low light, but I just decided to get the vanilla latte this time just to see what it looks like okay. So this is the the darker shade, vanilla latte, that I just low lighted. So, as you can see, how's nice like low lights in it, it is kind of a little bit grease because I've put them argan oil in it, which argan oil is a lot greasy err than rock, and I like this, it does rinse out a little bit. So it will fade a bit I'll, just put it underneath just to show ya. I can see that okay, so obviously this is my natural hair up here and then this is the hair that I just dyed matches pretty flawlessly. So if you guys want to see how I low, like my extensions kind of the process and everything I thought I would just show you guys before I went ahead and did anything to them. I like to have a lot of hair, so I got to 220 grams of hair, so this one is vanilla latte, which is the darker one here, and this one is champagne blonde or Beach blonde. So this is the 613 right here, so I just put them right next to each other, so you can kind of compare this. One actually looks darker in my camera. I wish this color back to my hair because it is like a really pretty color, but it is still really really light for my hair and I'm just gon na compare this color for my to my hair. Just so you guys can get an idea. So these are the new clips that they have on and I'll show you guys what the old clips look like. These are the old clips right here and then these are the new ones and I've never been a fan of these this type before. But I think that I got like the bigger ones or something, because these ones are really really like up they're a lot smaller than the other ones. I'Ve tried - and I was really weary at first, because I was so used to these ones. These ones are actually more expensive, Dyanne put in my hair, and it actually is really tight on my head. These ones have like um little rubber things at the bottom here, but this one doesn't this one's just all metal, so this one is supposed to be better for you than these ones are and the stitching on these is a little bit different and still flat to Your head, this is the stitching on this one, and this was is the stitching on the new ones, and this one looks kind of dirty because I died in everything. But this is a nice set. I'Ve dyed to match my hair color and it looks kind of ashy, but it's not it's actually like a golden brown, and I, what I did is that I also did the roots of it too, so it looks more natural coming on my roots, instead of it Being white and then my low lights and I'm just gon na compare the colors. So this is the beach blonde. That'S like the lightest 6:13 color, and then this one is the vanilla latte. So, as you can see, the vanilla latte like would blend well with it, but it's still like a lot lighter. Then my hair is my old. My old wash wash locks extensions. I actually died. It was this color and then I dyed it to this to match. My hair color, so hopefully that's gon na work out with these two. These are a little bit darker, so I might use these at the bottom or of the bottom of my hair, but I'm still gon na do the same thing. So hopefully I can kind of show you guys, okay, so what I was gon na be using and what I use for my other for this set of extensions. I was like my beet Beach blonde hair. Is I'm gon na be using fahriye f3 golden brown and it looks like this and basically I got two things with it, because I have two sets of extensions. I don't know if we need both, but I got it just in case. So what I'm going to do? Oh just to let you know they came with extra clips as well, so just in case your break or whatever they came with two extra clips in each pack. So I'm going to start off by doing this. That, first - and this is the vanilla, latte, okay, you're gon na - need some little elastics. You can use bigger ones too, but the littler ones are better. These ones aren't necessarily meant for hair, but I'm just gon na start off with not so pre sewing them first or anything. Just just take them like this. I'M going to take my rat tail comb or end of a comb. This one has hair all in it or something pointy. It doesn't have to be a rat tail comb and I'm just going to start sectioning it so just take under your comb like this. So then you just take your cone separate it like this. So you have two little areas here, so this isn't my thinner side here. So this is I'm gon na keep blonde. In this I'm going to be dyeing brown, it's actually easier to have the top the top layers, as as the where you're low lighting, because the suits gon na be easier just elastic at the bottom bottom, because we're gon na be low. We'Re gon na be dyeing the the roots of the hair too, okay, so now what I have here is, if you can see me, I mean like scrub stuff. Obviously I don't to get my clothes dirty. I have separated them. This is the bleach blonde and then this is the darker color and then I'm just going to mix this together, because you don't you want to do all this first before you start mixing this because because then it oxidizes and it doesn't start to work after a While okay, so as you can see, I put like a gold rag down on my table, I don't have enough room in my bathroom to do this at all, so I have to do it on my kitchen counter. So, basically, you follow the instructions that come with gloves. Now it's usually really easy, like mix lay this over the side like that and then basically paint this part start from the root and then work your way down. The hair shaft so you're just gon na wan na massage it into where you where the clip is, and they should be sure not to touch this a lot. This part: that's in the elastic it all down, so I'm gon na leave that for about 30 minutes, that's what it says in it, and now I'm just gon na rinse it out. Okay! So don't look at these pot since I have a few of these conditioners and I love them. I use them on my hair, like if I don't usually use the whole thing of this. Just to put the condition through looks pretty good so far we're gon na. Let it sit for about five minutes. What you can do is you can look at your roots and or whatever your low light is and try to match it up to a box color. That'S what I do too so um. I found that this one, even though it looks really really dark. That'S gon na be like that's the color of my route on my route and my little light cuz. My Lola are like the same color, but if you just take this strand, you can see that this strand is like a like a darker Brown like a golden brown, so me using this as a as a low light work, though perfectly so, that's how I do It so I hope you guys enjoyed this little how-to and I'll talk to you guys later bye,

deselvie2008: Great tips, hun -- You've really got it down to a science. I'm amazed at what it takes to get those extensions looking as good & natural as your own hair.

Melinda Allison: You really are so helpful, you have answered all my questions about doing my own extentions. I was just wondering if you had a discount code to give your subs to buy these from lush locks? I feel so guilty spending this much money on my hair but my hair is sooooo thin I can't wait to try!!!!!!!! Thanks for the videos, love them all

guessxwhoxthisxis: great tips! and i think they match perfectly with your hair!

PrincessVictoriaM: Awesome =) I don't need to do this but if I did, this video is so detailed that I would have no problem doing it =)

Sugar Tits 🐯: this video is absolutely amazing because my hair is the identical color as yours and extensions are too blond but if i get the next color darker they will be too dark ... so u saved my life thank u soooooooooooooo much

K Gui: the vanilla latte looks very good and blends in with your hair colour.

Laura P: I wish I have gotten lush locks instead of foxylocks :( Did you take these apart too? And I just wanted to say that I love your videos and find all your hair tips really helpful.

Azul Azul: Video starts at 5:56

Priscilla Garcia: Thanks for the tips!!!!

Tracy Thomas: This was really good thanks!

Tina Ellen: Very informative.  I had wondered what the process would be to do this.

4Dailypeace: What is the shade of highlights you use in your hair? Such a nice shade on you! Thanks the tips.

Lindsee: Do you highlight your own hair as well? & lowlight it as well?

Maiz Rox: Hi, is the technique good with highlighting as well

5D Pixie: Did u use semi-permanent or permanent hair dye? I want to really try this

Merissa L: You are so talented of doing hair!!

HairGirl247: @katsegovia I don't recommend high lighting extensions. this will shorten their life substantially and damage the hair. If you were going to attempt it, I would suggest going to a stylist. Read my blogpost that is linked in the description above for more about colouring extensions.

TracyH: wow u make it match perfectly

Media 3 Group Interactive: Great little viddy, thanks! Subscribed. ;-)

HairGirl247: @amsantana86 you can't colour synthetic extensions and I don't recommend high lighting extensions but you can definitely colour them. I do it all the time.

Brittany Paige: Do you now which two colors the Vanilla Latte is a mix of? Is there 613 in them?

JSJ032: Lush locks extensions now, but a little bit ago you showed the pure extensions being installed... Why the change? Do you alternate? Too much maintenance for the pure extensions? Thank you!

HairGirl247: @lakegirl645 not at all. I am with morrocanoil 100%. It gives you enough moisture but never too oily. You have to be really careful with argan oil not to use too much or it gets greasy.

Nadia Mulligan: What did you use on your lips ???! It LOOKS SUperr Pretty

Alejandra Otero: where you buy your extensions?

Diana H: Did you buy the 20' ones?

HairGirl247: @northsideqirl I really dont recommend bleaching extensions. If you want more information about dying extensions etc..please see my blog post, it is in the description!

HairGirl247: @sjam2012 I know what you mean, most other oils are greasy. I think Morrocanoil is the brand of oil so unfortunately there is no cheaper Morrocanoil. I havent heard of a generic brand yet :(

HairGirl247: @intheairtonight1 aww thank you!

yinandyangbaby8: You are like a hair god.

HairGirl247: @awwwwwwify I use two sets so I kinda just sew them together and remove some clips.

J G: i want to see them on you! awesome!

Chelsy smith: can u show u put the one piece on the side in your hair

HairGirl247: @coffieshopisme you should definitely tell your concerns to Amy at mypinkvanity!

TheZgreene: The hair dye I use is from esalon.com It's the best hair dye to me

savannahbethable: I have short stawberry blonde hair and bleach blonde extensions, I can't seem to make them blend together. Any tips. My haircut kinda looks like a Beiber bowl.

coffieshopisme: the new ones the stitching i find comes apart

amsantana86: i thought that you couldn't color hair extensions... I'm sooo confused :S

danilishus: "don't look at these pots" LOL you're so funny.

rebecca jeko: I really want extensions. ive never had long hair cuz it takes too long to grow. and then it damaged so i have to cut it. but there very expensive is there any contest your having soon??

makeupbykandice: WHATS ON YOUR NAILS???

Lindsee: @veronika138 i agree!

Tracy Leicher: LOL @ "Don't look at these pots."

MooLounge: you COLOR hair... you don't DYE it :) jsyk

Iris Geven: I have your hair naturally

HairGirl247: @MooLounge potatoe pototto..lol I spell it colour too soo everybody has their own way.

HairGirl247: @awwwwwwify around 8 months

KHAlilxv: They look synthetic

Krystal: Did you know that when you bleach over certain box dyes, your hair begins to smoke? I'm a hairdresser and that boxed dye is soooooooo bad for your extensions and especially your real hair. I know the public isn't allowed to purchase professional products but try a place like Sally's to get a little better quality color line. Trust me, I've seen hair melt right off a head because of those store bought hair dyes. & PS, all the products from the store are counterfeit. Buy them from your hairdresser :) Good luck

Sophia B: You have camel toe in the video. But nice job anyway
