Attempting To Install Tape In Extensions In My Natural Hair On Tapered Short Hair| Amazon Hair

Hello, hey guys, welcome back to my channel candy's hair diary and today guys we are going to be doing a little something different. We are going to be playing with tape in extensions all right guys, so i have never ever ever used tape and extensions and um i've always wanted to try them out. Um i've only done the braidless sew in done it that way for a flat install. So i already know how that comes out, but i've never had a chance to really play with tape and extensions. So i was searching on good old, amazon and um. I was trying to figure out because did i want to pay an arm and a leg for some extensions that i did not like or that did not work out or you know what else could happen um? So i just went the cheaper route just to see. Um, if i do like the way that type in extensions look on my hair, then i will, you know, actually go and do more research and get the more expensive hair. But i also wanted to find some hair that i did not have to personally color, because i just didn't feel like bleaching any um of the hair um, and they said you can also make your own taping extensions as well. But i did not feel like going through that either so went on amazon and i found this company sunny's hair um, and so i only bought one um one pack um, because, as you guys can see, i have a taper cut. I didn't know how much i would need, but i did see that they said other people that have used this hair said that the extensions were thick all the way through, so i did buy one, and i was trying to figure out. The only hard thing is because my hair is so many different blends, i'm trying to figure out which one it goes for me. So it comes in that pack, and this is what it looks like guys. So, as you can see, it's a bit more ashier than my hair, so i can actually tone it with these. You can only darken, you cannot lighten, which is totally fine, so i could just tone it with a warmer blonde that will kind of take some of the ash out, but, as y'all can see, i'm kind of ashy up in the middle and i'm actually. I have an ash your tone of blood like in the back, so as you can see all the way from top to bottom, it's thick right. It'S the same thickness all the way through, and i would have gotten one more pack of this guys, but in this color they only have one bundle left, and this is a 14 inch. So i didn't want to start off with anything too long, because i didn't know if i would like it. However, like i said this is just experimental for now um, and so i was like hmm that one bundle probably is not gon na be enough. So then i decided to go back and try another company. I forgot which one this one is so i have to put it in the description bar, but it came in this packaging now. This is also a 14 inch as well, but guys when i open this, i was not too impressed. Look at it guys. This is a 14 inch, so, as you can see, it's a little bit more warmer right more warmer, so i was like i'm gon na mix the two tones together, but it says this is a 14 inch now i know i get it it's wavy, but when I pulled it through it's not thick. All the way through, like the tip is pretty, i feel, like the tips are kind of thin and i don't know how how well that's gon na mix with this. So it looks like two different colors, but i'm gon na layer them, so you can get a little bit different variation of color um. I should just tone this, but i don't feel like it kind of don't feel like it. So i don't know we'll see. So i'm gon na layer layer each section of this and i'm gon na straighten this out and see how it looks together, um. If i like it, then i'm just going to order um another bundle of this, because it's just way thicker this not so much um yeah, i probably won't ever probably won't want water from them again. This is this is thin. This is feels thin. It'S it's not enough um, so i'll go back to sunny sunny is way thicker um so, but i'm still see how they look see what they look like together and yeah. So, first and foremost, what first and foremost i'm gon na go ahead and wash deep condition. My hair blow dry and straighten it, and then i'm going to come back and show you guys how i want to install it all right so see you guys in a few all right guys. So i'm back, i have washed and straightened my hair and so yeah. Let'S get into it, i mean i found like i've always had these and they're like little clamp things to clamp the tape. So finally, um opened one of the things with the safe extensions, so this is. This is actually what one looks like and it's gon na sandwich onto another one. The tape part actually looks pretty good, so i'll. Take it sandwich my hair in between put another piece on top clamp it together, and then it also says tap it with your flat iron. So we're going to see how that goes, um and guys. I did straighten out the other one a little bit and i can tell that this had some fibers in it that were not human, but you see this probably kind of goes a little bit better with my hair um, it looks like it has like it. Wasn'T human hair fibers because when i went to go straighten it it burned inside the hair, so i definitely won't be getting this again. I do like the color. The color does kind of match much better than the ash color, but as far as quality wise, it's off the rip like without me, actually putting it in i'm gon na, say no, and you can see how thin it is. You see how thin it is compared compared to this huge difference right then at the bottom thick at the bottom yeah. So there's that so i'm go ahead and start, and here we go so so so so so so so so so do so all right guys. So i am back with the final product um, yes, so um! Well, let me do a 360. okay. So now we got that out the way guys. So let me give you the real deal about this taping extension. Okay. So this is my first attempt. First of all, um will i do this again, i'm going to say yes but um. I will do it when my hair grows out um, because it's definitely hard like. I can't put this up in a ponytail like i thought i was going to be able to yeah no with the taper cut, it's very hard, as y'all can see, y'all see where the tape taping extensions is. You can tell where the tapes are. So it's like super hard to for me to put in a ponytail um with this type of cut. If i have longer hair or hair full of hair like hair around here, then i'll be able to hot tape and extensions better. So it's definitely tricky um. On a taper cut or shortcut like this, i would only for the most part wear this down or into a low a little ponytail. It works cute like that um. It also works cute with a headband around it. I trust i wanted to put our back a cute little headband on it or something it also works like that way. You can't see the tapes or anything um so yeah with this tape. I'Ve had this in now, for maybe like a few days um, i did run out of hair, so i did have to order another pack of hair and i did try a different company um, because i needed it asap um and, like i said the other company That i originally got the first pack from they did not have that color and i wanted a more of a warmer blend um to kind of mix in so with that said, um after i added the third bundle, it did do the trick um. I don't think i could add any more without the tapes showing - and i don't know if it's because i have like blonde hair versus black hair, it's a little easier to hide when your hair is darker versus um, like lighter um and also i have short hair. So i'm only working with a certain amount of space anyways um, like i said i will try this again and i will get like some better quality extensions. Now that i know that i do like it, it's fairly easy to install um. I did have to move some tapes around and oh also, the tapes that did come on these extensions, crap um. I have to. I think it's the it's. It'S probably that second batch um, which people said already in the reviews that the tape was worth crap um. So i would have to find i'd, do some more research and find better holding tape, because i was able to peel it right on off with no problems. I peeled off the tape and re-did the tape adhesive on it and clamp it right back in. So i definitely have to find some better tape, um other than that this hair does sl. It holds a curl, but not really like a it, doesn't hold a heart curl but um at night. All i've been doing is pretty much doing one of these moves and putting it at a ponytail and going to sleep and then, when i wake up, i just been pretty much like breaking my fingers through it or whatnot um. So, like i said, i would not be able to put this in a ponytail which i wanted to, but again i know i'm only working with a small head of hair, i'm still a bald head, a little scary just kidding just just not no scaly wig. No just a little bowel head um, but other than that guys. I do like this hair. It does shed a little bit um, but it is soft. It'S soft um, it's not crunchy and it does as i can see. It does still, however, blend with my blonde. It'S like three different colors of blonde in here um, so yeah other than that. I'M trying to think of anything else. I said i was going to share with you guys and i feel like it is and if it is, if i i missed something just make sure you double check the description down below. So i can remember what i was trying to remember. I don't remember, and all of that yeah so other than that guys, like i said i used three packs. There was 20 pieces in each pack, i'm only working with the tapered cut hair. So i'm assuming, if you have more of a hair full of hair you're, going to need more than that um, so yeah, that's it!
