How To Install Tape-In Extensions | Nia Wigs Kinky Straight Hair

So today, as you guessed it, we have a tape, ins, video and i am using neo wigs tape in hair. This is in the kinky straight um, textured, hair and y'all y'all. Just gon na have to watch the video of me installing this, and then we will come back and i will share all the details with you. Also. So this is the packaging that the hair came in and when i say it was packaged to a tee like i was like how do i even get this out, but this is how the hair comes. The hair comes in little packs, so i have the 24 inch 22 inch in the 20 inch. It also comes with some extra tape, so once the tapes were off on your hair, you can apply some new tapes and you can get you another install out of it and you also get the hair barrel. Curl strip that keeps the hair out of the way. Comes with some shampoo and recommendations and a little book, and they give you a little satin bag that you can put your hair in and store it, and everything and y'all this hair is gorgeous. It feels gorgeous. It looks gorgeous. It is gorgeous all right, you guys, so my hair is freshly washed and flat ironed out. I did not use um that high of heat, like i didn't, go all the way up to 450 degrees. I think i used maybe about 380 um and then i had to go to the bathroom to get this perimeter because i could not see sitting here in front of this camera with y'all, so i had to go get that done in the bathroom. So right now, i'm just trying to section out the perimeter: well, not the perimeter, the top part that i want for my leave out section, seeing how much i'm going to leave out to blend it in with the tape ends alright. So now we are about to start applying the tape ends. You guys um and do not talk about my parting. I know it's probably all types of jacked up, but honestly, you cannot tell from this install um i've been wearing it. I'Ve been getting a lot of. Compliments on it and you can't tell that my pardon is all jacked up the way it is like i said: um you probably need to get a actual hair stylist to do this um. It will make it so much easier because it is hard to try to match these tapes up on your own without really looking for real but yeah. So now we're just adding the tape to the hair wow. So like now, you got to try to match the other piece up and sandwich it in between, so it is quite difficult, especially if you cannot see what you are doing. I kind of just had to feel for this like throughout the whole time that i was doing my hair and i don't like that, but we got it done either way. So that was my first tape. I was excited um, so now i'm just gon na. Let y'all watch the remainder of the video and um jam out to the music and everything like that so enjoy all right. You guys so i am all complete with my hair and now i'm about to try to comb this up and see if it passes the ponytail test, and i think it does y'all. This ponytail is looking good. I am loving it all right so now i am showing that i'm just flat ironing the hair um, that's basically what i did throughout my whole head. I wasn't going to show the whole process of me flat. Ironing, though, because y'all know how to flat iron some hair but look at how it just blends in so well, you guys um. I did cut a few layers to kind of frame my face a little bit but yeah. This is basically what the finished look looks like, and i am in love with it all right. You guys. So, as you saw this hair is super duper cute is so full you guys. So i received eight bundles, basically of hair, so i got the 24 inch. 22 inch and the 20 inch of the kinky straight, i did not use the 20 inch at all um, and so, like 40 tapes came with each length of hair um. I think i only have yeah. I have like six tapes left of the 22 inch. So you definitely get a lot of hair y'all. This hair is really really thick. I think, next time i install this hair, i'm going to use like exactly three bundles or maybe like two and a half, because this hair is super duper thick y'all. It'S giving me like the thickest ponytail ever like, oh my goodness, but i really really like it so far. Um the hair feels super duper soft. I love the way that it flat ironed out, as you can see, it's still like some texture to it. After it's flat iron but like it's still pretty straight and smooth it blends in really really well with my hair. So i'm excited to see how this hair is going to do after i like work out and stuff, because i know my hair is going to poof up so we're going to see if this hair can poof up in if it's going to match. Okay, so i might have to give y'all some updates on this hair. Also, when you do get this hair, it does kind of have like a little smell to it. So i did shampoo and condition this hair. When you are shampooing and conditioning your tapians, though, make sure not to get your tape wet, you do not want to get your tape wet. I would also highly suggest that you go to like actual stylist. Who knows how to do. The tape ends um yeah, this. This style is not for the week, it's not for the reary uh. If you think you can do it at home, i mean go for it, but i highly suggest you getting a stylist who knows what they are doing um and me personally. I have been taught how to do tapians. I am a hair stylist, so i know what i was doing, even though i kind of struggle doing my own hair. I can do this install on somebody else, that's in front of me, but it's kind of hard trying to match up the tape and stuff when you can't really see, but i think i did a pretty good job overall um. So y'all. Let me know in the comment section what y'all think of this install it look y'all. This just looks so natural besides it being super duper thick like i wish my hair was this thick. If my hair was so sick, y'all can tell me nothing for real for real but anyways, so also um, as you all saw in the beginning of the video, this um hair does come with the re tape, so you can reuse this hair over and over all. I did when i shampooed it shampoo it with cool water and use your shampoo and conditioner like regular and the hair. Like remains so soft. You guys, like i, ain't, getting no shedding or nothing no tangles, nothing y'all, and then i just let this hair air dry for a little bit and then i was trying to speed up the process a little bit, so i did put the blow dryer to it. Um and just kind of blow dried it out. I didn't like put the combs through and comb it or nothing like that, but you could use like a diffuser or something so it remained in his kinky straight texture like such after it was blow-dried out.
