The natural look is most definitely like my most favorite look. I want everything to look like elongated so fast. You know what i mean like. I want people to look at my hair and be like hmm. Is that hers, like that's what i like hi guys so today, i'm going to be doing my take in takedown and reinstall. I'Ve had my tape in extensions for has it been like five or six weeks, so i think it's been around five weeks. So this is my sister's very first time doing taping extensions on my hair. I didn't really broadcast that that that can't talk. I didn't broadcast that information that much so no my hair is not relaxed, but it sure is dirty right now i wear my hair in a straight state, um, primarily 24 7.. I get my hair shampooed, preferably once a week, but lately it's been looking like two times. I mean every two weeks so most of the time it's weekly, but this is what one extension looks like after x amount of weeks of growth like five six weeks whenever you're removing tape and extensions you want to be very mindful on when you remove them. I guess i can say so. You see my sister here is just removing it like a book, and this is actually one of the first pieces that she sprayed so she sprayed all of my tape ins before she actually started to remove them. So when you do this, it allows my the heat of my head to kind of warm up the adhesive so that it can be a lot easier to remove. So you guys saw that the insula that the removal process - i'm sorry the removal process was super. Super easy really easy to come out of, even though this is her first time doing a removal. Okay. So as she removes the tapes from my hair, she places it on this little hair extension tool, rack thingymabobber, and then i take the hair from there. And then i take the tape off and then i put it back on there. So when you remove tapes, you have to put it back in order, because it's not like a weft and even when you do wefts like microlinks, you do have to put it back in order, but for tape, ins, it's kind of like a different process, because it's Way more pieces than micro links, so once it's all removed, your base is still going to be super duper sticky. So what i like to do is i like to just spray um leave-in conditioner spray, all on my roots, so i had her. Do that. I'M sorry! My voice keep going like in and out, and i don't know what's up, but here we are. I have to get this video out anyways, so she's spraying it on my face, especially on my perimeter, because it was super dry, um yeah. My my perimeter was super dry, so she got all that and then you just massage it in prepping. The hair is like one of the most important things you can do, especially as a hair stylist. So doing this is extremely vital to me, because it's gon na make sense in the end when the final product is here. So by this time i'm done with you know, untaping all the tape, so i just put it in a little bundle using small little rubber black rubber bands and then i'm going to be using olaplex 3 on my hair, and i told her to place it on My ends because i already have leave-in conditioner on my base, so i told her to just place it on my ends and then the remainder it can go on my base because my ends need it the most and yeah. I just sat like this for around 10 minutes, while i basically just ate a sandwich this. Oh, my goodness, this grilled cheese sandwich i found at costco and it has 17 grams of protein like can we get into it or no like please? So when i'm shampooing the extensions, i basically shampoo like regular hair, i do at least three shampoos and then i go on with my life. Sometimes i use conditioner. Sometimes i don't really just depending on the conditions of the extensions. So once i'm done with the shampoo, i just take it back to my extension rack and i start to apply the re-tape. So the retapes is basically like the last step to the extension reinstall prep, and this is what it looks like when it's all re-taped and we are finally literally at the last step, i'm so happy, and so now we're just going to go ahead and rinse. The treatment out and shampoo so after the blow dry, we actually got so tired that we decided to take a break. Have some food because we were all so hungry? Take a break have some food and we actually ended up taking like a three hour break and we came back at night time like as you can see. We look super tired, but determined hi. You guys you guys are literally catching me on a totally different day. So since my sister is beginner hairstylist, it just takes her a long time to finish my hair, especially because i'm picky don't get me wrong like we're sisters. So it's gon na take us longer to do extensions on each other because we just lollygag like all day but anyways. This is my hair. Like i said before, i'm 100 natural, i wear my hair and this straight stay around all the time. All the time and i'll show you guys, like different wrapping techniques in my next video, like these wrapping techniques, are things that i do when i'm like super duper tired, so am i low-key cut my hair too thin, so i'm gon na have to cut a couple Inches off, but that's okay, that's what happens when you're trying to layer your hair, trying to make it look as natural as possible on yourself, but yeah. I just wanted to quickly pop in and kind of just talk a little bit about my tape ends and just kind of show. You guys my hair a couple days after the insulation, because the footage that i had got was absolutely crazy. All my junk right here. It'S all these cardboard boxes because the garbage people come today and so we need to break them down, but um it's for it's! Oh my gosh. I totally forgot. I had to go to work. Oh all, right, bye,
