Hi guys welcome to my channel if you're new here my name is jazzy and if you're returning viewer thanks for tuning in for today's video in this video, i want to come and share with you guys some details on the current protective hairstyle i have installed. I know in my last video i uploaded i've seen a lot of comments, a lot of questions and i did get a few dms on instagram wondering what i have going on with my hair right now. So if you guys are interested make sure you stay tuned, but before i go ahead and jump right in if you're not already subscribed to my channel, please go ahead and hit that subscribe button right down there. It would really warm my heart to have one more subscriber and while you're at it go ahead and hit that notification bell. So every time i upload a video, you won't miss out on any of my content, all right without further ado. Let'S just go ahead and jump right into this video, so i know you guys are wondering: what's going on with your hair, is it an install? Do you have a sew-in like girl, give us the t and in this video that's exactly what i'm going to do. So no you guys i'm not wearing a wig. I haven't wore wigs in like a year now and really for the past 12 months. I'Ve been rocking with tape and extensions, and if you guys are familiar with my content, then you guys know: i've tried blonde tape and extensions previously, and i've also tried some ombre extensions as well on my channel before and this time. I wanted to try black tape and extensions, because, just like the blonde, i was pretty curious to see how my hair would blend without me having to color it and, as you guys can tell it doesn't. Even look like any brown hair is visible at all, which was exactly what i wanted and i'm so happy with the way that the color turned out. Because again, i wasn't really interested in dyeing my hair, but i did want jet black hair for the summer, so that kind of like leads me to what really made me, want to get tape in extensions. So when this brand reached out to me the company is called sasana and i'm pretty sure i pronounced it wrong, but this is what their packaging looks like sasana, hair and i picked up three boxes. I have two boxes and 20 inches and one box and a 22 inch and the extensions are 100 human hair. So they blended really well with my hair, and i wanted to come on here and share with you guys the installation process, because every time i come on here and do a review with you guys from tape and extensions. I do want to share, or i like, to share the installation process, so the first video i did show you guys how i installed them. The second one. I just told you guys and now i'm here to share with you guys i tried a new method from the previous times and the method that i tried this last time. I, like a lot better, so i installed these on wet hair, so i washed my hair, then i deconditioned it and i rinsed the conditioner out before i could even blow dry my hair. I installed these. So that's what i mean when i sat install them to wet hair. So once i got done rinsing my deep conditioner out, i just went ahead and sectioned my hair off into two sections, and then i made some sections and in those sub sections i would section like minor minor sections off and i would blow dry it till. It was like 85 dry, but not damp, and then i would install the tape in extension, and i found that worked a lot better, because when i was doing it that way like styling as i go, i found that the hair just stuck to it more than It would have if my hair was straightened already, so when i applied the tape it's previously to straight hair, i noticed that i was having a bit of a problem, but when my hair was freshly dry, freshly cleaned and i installed them - i noticed the grip, like The grip was a lot better, so that was another thing i wanted to mention to you guys just try to install them like right once your hair is clean before you even have time to like let it sit another thing i wanted to mention to you guys, Which kind of goes hand in hand with the last thing i shared is the humidity. So this is not a good style to like install during the summer time again, i've only had this style like during the spring and fall. So this is my first time having tape and extensions during the summer time, and it was not a fun experience at all. Now, of course, i love how versatile it was. That'S why i like taping extensions, because i can put my hair up in a ponytail. I can wear my hair in the high bun, a low bun. I can have two pigtails two braids. I can do like so much. I can wrap my hair, so i love the versatility that comes with the tape and extensions, but i didn't like how humid the hair got when it was summer time and i stepped outside so like when i would walk outside it didn't matter what time of the Day like the hair would just immediately get hot and my hair would sweat and because my hair would sweat - and it was sandwiched in between the two hair wefts - it was almost like. It was just a mess, and so that was something that i wanted to mention to you guys. If you're going to do this style, make sure you're keeping in consideration like the weather, because when i was going anywhere like my hair, would get really frizzy and not only my hair, but my hair and the extensions. And that was something else i want to mention to you guys as well too. So these extensions, the quality of the hair, is pretty good for the most part, but once the hair gets dirty like once the hair gets dirty. You have to wash the hair over, because, if you don't it just gets stiff, it feels like shed hair. It feels like just stiff, and i just don't like that at all. Another thing i wanted to share with you guys is: the hair, doesn't really hold a curl either. So i just freshly washed my hair for this video and i only blow-dried it, and then i threw some curls in here, and this is the best it could do. Like literally, this is the best, and that is something else that i wanted to mention to you guys so like throughout the whole summer it was, i was sweating and the taping extensions were coming out, so it wasn't like i was brushing my hair super hard and The tape and extensions were coming out, it was almost like, i would be outside for a long period of time and i'll be sweating and then like. I would move my hair and one would come out or just like the wind would blow the wrong way, and i would notice that it would be coming out. Another reason why i wanted to come on here and make this video for you guys is because, like my hair literally has to come out of them now, i'm going to insert a picture if you guys can't see but like i have a lot of new growth And what happens is my hair is so fine. So when my new growth comes, the curl will, like literally redirect the pattern that the tape and extension is laying down. So, instead of like the tape and extension like flat to my scalp, it'll start to curl with my natural hair, texture and my hair gets tangled and it like gets really twisted at the roots and because i have a sensitive scalp. I can feel when it's happening and it's happening everywhere. So that's something else i wanted to mention to you guys also. I did wash my hair like six times while i had these installed and like the first two times that i washed my hair. It wasn't really difficult. Everything was pretty normal but like after week, three to like. Currently, when i would wash my hair, i noticed it was a lot difficult to get my new growth dry and to get my roots straight. So that's something else to consider. If you're going to have this protective style, just know that the first two to three weeks is going to be like the most easier days for your hair and then, after that, it gets more like new growth is everywhere, and it just becomes like a lot to Deal with - and i think that's pretty much the reason why i'm going to go ahead and take them down is because it is becoming a lot to deal with. Now i have to focus on my new growth and also making sure that i get my new rug dry, but also that i don't melt the tape, the adhesive tape, that's on the tape and extension. So they don't come out so yeah. That'S pretty much everything that i had to share with you guys about the brand i did like the hair, except for the fact when the hair gets dirty when it gets wet when it gets like sweaty humid like you have to wash it or it just will Not look good, it will not cooperate, but other than that you guys i really did enjoy this experience, i'm so happy. I kept the tape in extensions in a little longer to give you guys a more thorough, in-depth review than the reviews. I'Ve, given you guys in the past, so i'm pretty sure this will help someone if you have natural, hair and you're thinking about a straight like protective hairstyle. This is definitely a good alternative, but also this would be something for someone to consider if you want to go to like a prom and don't necessarily want to sit in a chair for three to four hours to get a sewing installation, because it's so versatile, you Can do so many different hairstyles and it still does last like the same amount of time, if not longer, so that pretty much wraps up this video, you guys, i will have a coupon code down in the description box, so check that out below if you're interested In trying out sassiana's hair - and i did want to mention to you guys - they do have an amazon shop. So if you have amazon, prime, you can get them in two days, which is what i did or you can shop them on their website, which again i'll have all the information down in the description box below make sure you guys check it out on your way Out and i'll catch you guys in my next video
