Honest Halo Couture Hair Extension Review | Review & How I Wear Them 2020

I get asked all the time about my halo hair extensions and I FINALLY filmed a video with my Honest Halo Couture Hair Extension Review. This video is in collaboration with my friend and hairstylist Emilee Amon who I purchased the Halo Couture hair from about four years ago. This is my second set of extensions from the Halo Couture brand extensions and I absolutely love them. I wear these halo extensions everyday and the hair lasts about two years. I also have Emilee trim them if they need a little refresh.

I'm currently wearing the 22 inch layered B 116 halo couture extension. I purchased these extensions with my own money and all opinions are my own.

Right now, Emilee is offering 15% off all Halo Extensions and can do video call appointments if you are interested: https://studiohaven.org/

Hello, everyone and welcome back to my channel. I hope you all are doing well. We are in it with this quarantine and I have been self quarantine for a while now, but I'm really excited about this video today, because it's in collaboration with my dear friend Emily and my hairstylist, we have worked together. Her and been friends went to the same high school. She does my hair. Now it's been probably 10 years, 8 years, pretty close to 10 years. It'S been a while, but this video has been a collaboration that we've had going for a while. We just never have done it, and it's about my extensions, the second love of my life, my halo, Couture extensions, and here they are and all their glory. Let me step back, so you can see so please make sure to subscribe to my channel and stay tuned for more information about my halo extensions and how I put them in my head. This is my natural hair. It'S actually pretty long, but something I want to tell you guys about is that using halo Couture. The last like three to four years, has allowed me to grow my hair out before halo, Couture extensions. I was using clippings or tape pins and they just like, did not work for my hair after using halo Couture now for years. This is the only hair extension I will use ever ever ever and I just really like the product and the quality of the hair. So I just want to show you really quick, the hair, so what it is is basically a really thin piece of string wire. I don't know what to call it, but it's very comfortable, and you can't even tell that they're in your hair, like with tape pins, they always kind of like bothered. My hair and kind of made me want to like itch, but these are not like this they're. Very comfortable, I believe that I have the 22 inch balayage extensions and they are the layered version and the color is B 116. I kind of changed the way that my balayage looks and no matter what these basically match. So I'm very very happy with the color and how to use it again, I'll kind of show you up close. So it's basically this, then you back it up so yeah. This is basically the hair and I'm just going to show you really quick. How I put it in because some people are like confused about how the string works, and it's really really simple. So to put these extensions in all you need is a rat tail comb which comes with the product, your extensions and a hair brush. Now I have not done anything to my hair. You can kind of see that it's not really style. I just blow-dried it today. This is what we have and the extensions I curled like five weeks ago, so these keep their curl. If you want kind of a loose wavy experience, if you want kind of a loose wavy, look, you don't have to curl this every day. So, for me it is just really quick super easy and it takes like five minutes to put them in my hair and there's just so much easier than clip-ins. I, like I said, I'm just amazed at how much I love a hair extension and how much I could possibly love it. So, to put it and I'm gon na get a little bit closer, you have your part here and you just put it at the tip of your part and push it down like this. So this is how it looks on your hair and I'm gon na back up a little bit, but you just take the end of your rat tail comb and just pull it through and through the back now I could do this in my sleep honestly. So this is probably pretty accurate at how long it takes me to do this. So in the front here, you can kind of see there's some hair. That needs to be more. Even all I do is I pull this down brush it through repart and go like that. So again, it's like super. Actually, you can't even see the string and it doesn't bother my hair and it's comfortable, which is like the key because, like I said tape, ins used to drive me crazy, but the next step is to just brush your hair and the extensions. So they blend in together. So when I brush I kind of brush the top first, so it's nice and smooth and even and then I brush the bottom just to blend the extension in with my real hair so yeah that is it like it's so comfortable. You can't even tell that I have it in and, like I said, I wear this every single day and people compliment me on my hair and I will pull it out in the store and show you my weave, because that's how much I love it something else. You can do from this step. You can take the time to curl this all together. If you want like a fuller, bouncy curl. Not so wavy like I were my hair everyday or you can put it up. Half-Up half-down there's so many different ways that you can wear it. You could still braid your hair, I've even worn it to the beach and braided my hair, so yeah, it's just been a really great purchase for me and it's allowed me to grow my hair out before when I got my extensions. The first time they were like my real hair was like up to here, and we had to cut and kind of blend to the piece in, but now my original hairpiece is as long as my hair is now, so I got a longer one just for a Little bit of extra length like if I pull this through my hair and at like right here, let me get it a little bit closer. So that's the end of the extensions and that's my real hair, so it just adds fullness and length. If you want more fullness in your hair, I have pretty thin hair. I'M getting a piece that your normal length may add a little bit more volume into your hair as well. So thank you so much for watching this video make sure that you contact Emily if you're interested in purchasing that more. If you have more questions for her like I said, these have been a game changer for me, and I hope you guys are all staying safe and healthy during this weird time and you're quarantined by
