Hi, i'm shaka starks and welcome to my channel. I am super excited for this video because i'm reviewing some hair and i love hair and i know hair okay, so i'm reviewing in d care today. You know i mean, i think it's obvious, i'm about to say some good stuff, because i'm real hyped, but i love when i find something bomb and i can tell y'all because you, if you don't know by now, your girl does not like to spend a lot Of her money out, okay, but i like to look good duh, so you know when i find something good, i'm i'm i'm hype about it. It is may almost june. I wore this hair four times, um, meaning i i took it out word again - took it out board again i do my own hair, so i don't you know i don't feel like. I need to keep it in super long because it's for free. So i i like to invest in really good hair so that i can use it for a long time. I know how to take care of my hair. I will say that i and i can give you some tips on how to take care of your weave, because, ladies, you don't need to be buying bundles every time you want to get your hair done. You shouldn't you really shouldn't and if you, if you have to those, are not the right bundles, three i'm wearing three bundles of 18 inch hair. So this is my fourth install. I had a side part. I had a middle part. Then i had, then i took a break and now i have a middle part again. It is definitely time to do it again, because i don't leave out a lot of hair. That'S another thing: i have a full sew in with a little bit of leave out at the top. That'S it my hair is pretty fine, so i do have to do my hair. If i want to leave a little bit of leave out, i have to do it pretty often because, as it grows out, you know you'll get that gap there. So that's the tea on that i'm wearing a sew-in with leave out and my edges. My little edges put my little bit of edges out. Okay, that's the seat. I got their remix body wave bundles. I got a bundle deal, so i got three bundles for 250., so i don't know, do the math, hmm? What'S the math? I don't know. Do the math - that's i'm not mad at that about this hair that you need to know you got to keep it clean. It'S not hair that, like you know, can will be, will have a lot of body and a lot of movement if it's weighed down. If it's dirty, so i wash this hair at least once every two weeks i tr, i really would prefer to do it once a week um. But i don't you know, i'm a mommy. I got a life. I work full time. Okay, so i do not have time all the time to wash them every week to wash my hair um, but i do hit it with some dry shampoo if i can in between, if i can't wash it and that's pretty much all i do, i do not Put products in this hair: this is a virgin indian hair version, i'm saying version because i got their remix line, which is a blend. It'S not their version version hair that one is a little pricier. So what i like about unique hair is they give you options? They have lots of, my lash is really getting stuck, they have different textures, they have different colors, they have wigs, they have clip bins, they have single bundles, they have bundle deals. Okay, i don't i mean i'm sure they have other stuff closures, they have closures and they have frontals. I did purchase a um closure for someone else and i made a wig, but i don't like closures or frontal so, and i don't really like to wear wigs. I just sewings are just my jam. I don't know i just a fresh so like a good sew-in like that's like a natural lace. So when i don't know i'm not i i was wearing like a u-part wigs for a little while, but it's not it's. It'S not it's, it's not! It don't hit like a sew-in. Does this hair does not tangle. It sheds a little bit like not like if i'm running my hands through it or i'm like shaking my head or talking, if i'm brushing it like over the sink like it, i will get like some. You know some little hairs, but it's it's this hair. I cannot say this hair sheds. I just don't want to say that it doesn't shed at all, because it's weave is on a what is it called it's on a weft, it's on a wet, it's gon na shed. It'S not in my even if my hair sheds, it is growing out of my scalp, so hair is gon na shed. This hair is in the natural, i'm gon na say like they're natural, i bought it in a natural dark, blackish color, but i did dye it. So it does, you can dye it. I use a box rinse, i don't know the brand, but i use a actually. I do know the brand. I think it was clairol. I don't know if you want, if you need, if you're interested comment and i'll i'll find out for you, so i did color it one time um. If i had to rate it on maintenance. I would say this: hair is easy maintenance. But again i can. I do my own hair, i take care of my hair. I know how to wash and condition it um. I know how to you know, make it last uh. So if you guys are interested in how to take care of your weave or make your bundles last for a minute, i can definitely do a video on that, because your girl got it down back okay, um. What else do you need to know about this hair? Y'All, it does hold a curl okay, so it comes in a wavy texture and i did trim it a little bit because over time, um over time, the the ends get a little. I don't know they're just not the same. So i just every time. I do an install i do cut. I do trim it, so it's probably looking a little shorter than 18 inches, but that's because i've trimmed it to make sure it's doing what it needs to do. Every time i put it in and because i trim it every time i kind of lose that curl in the end, so i don't curl my hair or wand curl it. I just take my flat iron and i literally just curl the ends like this wavy texture is the texture of the hair um. So i that's pretty much what i do. I wash my hair. I condition it um. I mostly most likely let it air dry. Unless i have somewhere to go, then i'll just blow dry it i will flat iron the back of my neck, because no matter what hair you have and you're moving your neck and doing all this, it's gon na get like bushy it's gon na get like. I don't know even your real hair if your hair is rubbing against your shoulders or your clothes like you, don't want that, so i do make sure that i'm giving the back of my hair a little more attention. I also you know, brushed the back of my hair. Let me show you i so like i said i got a bundle deal when i bought it in october they had a like big sale around, not big sale, but they had a sale around thanksgiving and i was like, let me hop on this, so i bought. I think i bought like two more bundles. This is what the bundle looks like. This is the wavy, the body wave. It smells so good. This is the remix body wave bundle, it's a little bent up because it's been in this bag since november and the bag has been in my closet, so it ain't really living his best life. But it's going to okay, it's going to live his best life so anyway i before i do my hair. I always wash and condition it anyway. So it's gon na this little bendy bent up curl. That'S that's not going to say i'm not going to worry about that, so this is what it this is what it looks like: okay, okay, it smells so good. So my main pros about this hair, my main pros about indie care. If i had to just run down the list, oh, i can't believe i forgot to say this. This company, this hair company, has a brick and mortar store that you can go into and buy the hair and touch the different textures and see the colors and see the wigs and see the frontals and see the closures, and i am here for that. Okay, like the fact that i can go into the store and like be like oh yeah, i like that. Oh i don't like that. I can put it up to my hair. I can feel it. I can see how big the bundles are. I'M not hoping and wishing and praying and and wishing on a star that my bundles look like how they say: they're gon na look on the website, i'm going into the store, i'm looking at it myself and i'm leaving with my bundles that day, i'm not waiting. I'M not tracking my package, i'm not waiting for you. Yes, i'm not waiting for amazon, it's just in my hands the fact that they have a store - and i know i'm guessing this up - but that's that's a game changer for me. It'S a game changer for me. In the store, it's not far from my house, it's like it's it's the store for me. Okay, so i live in silver spring maryland. The stores in silver spring maryland, like god, just like suck god in my friend, told me about their hair. I then went to their website. I then looked at the location. I was already gon na order, then seeing that they had a location in silver spring maryland where i live. I went to the store like the next day and i had my bundles. I i swear. I think i was installing them that night, that's how impressed that was. So it's a store for me. Okay, the customer service in the store was amazing. This is not a sponsored video. I wish it was sponsored because i'm wearing your hair and i'm spending my money and i love it and i put other people on like people and now i'm putting you you all on um. This is not a sponsored video and look how hype i am getting paid. I actually paid them, but anyways customer service in the store was bomb. I wish i could remember the um person that helped me's name um is probably in my email because they email you. Your receipt, which is also really nice, so i know exactly how much i paid and when i bought it and i have to like wait, customer service was bomb. I told her what i wanted. She walked me through different options. She also even recommended someone to. I asked her like: do you have? Do you, you know, have a a referral list or someone in the area that does sewage, because at that time i was, you know, being a little lazy and i really didn't want to do it. I ended up doing it anyway because i just can't part with my money, but she she was like yeah. Give me your email. She got back to me gave me a list of people gave me a list of salons. She was amazing um, so it's the store. It'S the customer service, it's the price. Okay, the price is reasonable. You can do your research, these hair companies be trying it and you don't be getting what they say you supposed to get okay, so the price is reasonable. The hair lasts. This is my going on. My seventh month, i bought this hair in october. It'S almost june. Okay, so the hair lasts. It doesn't shed another plus, they always have discount codes. Like i get emails and i'm always seeing like you know, uses discount code 20 off free bundle like they got. They got deals um anything else, but if you have more questions on this hair, you can ask me in the comments. Your girl is it's this hair. For me it's in deep or me um, there is the only con okay, i can't just i got ta, keep it real. The only con is these bundles are so small, so i used to use another company and i used to swear by them too, and i will say their hair was hit or miss. Sometimes sometimes they were not consistent. I'Ve bought hair from this company once for my twice for myself and once for someone else in all three times they were consistent. Um went in the store, twice, ordered once all right consistency. They don't know who i am they you know they didn't know. I was gon na. Do this review good hair, the only pro the only con is. These bundles are small guys. So i was that's what i was about to say. I used to use a company i used to use indian hair.net and i could do my whole hair with two bundles. With this hair, like three bun and i have a small head, okay, my head - is, it might look big, but my hair, i don't have a lot of hair on my head, my i have a small head. I can sometimes get away with two bundles. This was, i use every stitch of hair on the third bundle. So you, if you have a larger head, you might need four, four bundles or five bundles. If you're getting a longer length, definitely get yourself one or two extra bundles that, fortunately, for me my head is small. I'M not gon na need more than three um, but yeah. The bundles are small, i'm not gon na um. Oh, i remember what i was gon na say hold that thought. So i'm not gon na unravel this because i'm not ready to, but if i stretch this out it's it's not long, it's not long, so the bundles are small. That is the only con. Okay, we're gon na circle back. So what i was gon na say is back to the customer service. They have their return policy is like that. Okay. So as long as your bundles still have this plastic thing on it, you can return. It um, i think in 30 days. So if you buy the hair, you don't end up using it. You buy four bundles and you only need three. You can return that one bundle most companies, you can't return hair and because you can go into the store, it's not getting lost in the mail depending on where you live. If there's a location by you there there are several locations. I don't quote me. I only know mine because that's all that matters to me, but i will i'll list it in the description box below and i will of course link their website, so you can see if there's a location near you but yeah. So if you want to return it, you can walk right in the store. You have your receipt, they probably emailed it to you. I don't want this. Can i have my coin back in you get your money back. I thought i thought that was like. I was here for it. I was like all right because, honestly, like i said i thought i was only gon na - need two bundles, but i'm glad i got three because two two, no no two, your girl. Let me look two is not gon na. Do it so when she told me that when the woman told me that i could return it because i was like oh, i don't want to buy extra one. If i don't need it and she was just like well, you can return, you can return it. So i was like bet so that is all for this video. I just i mean i think, that's the t um this hair is about ready for a wash. I probably should have washed it before. I did this video, so you can see how it looks. Freshly washed, but but this is how it looks after not being washed for two weeks, so at least you can see that um, if you're interested in seeing how i do my hair with using indie care.
