My First Time Getting Tape In Hair Extensions!!!

Hey y'all welcome back to my channel so today i'm very excited because i'm getting tape in hair extensions for the very first time i have researched them. I have watched, countless youtube videos and i am just sold so i'm just going to prepare my hair by washing it with some baby. Shampoo baby shampoo has no parabens, no sulfates and no dye. It'S like the cleanest shampoo that you can use and i need my hair super clean. So here i am, i washed my hair. This is my natural curly, thick wild hair. It'S all cleaned! I did not use any conditioner. Only baby shampoo. I cannot have any product in my hair while i'm getting my tape ins, so i'm just going to brush my hair and just go to sleep. Let it dry overnight and then i'll be straightening it, and i am not allowed to use any of my hair care products, no leave-in conditioner. This is the leave-in conditioner that i use. This is the spray leave-in conditioner that i use and unfortunately i cannot use anything in my hair. It has to be at like its most natural state with no products, and i just threw my hair up this morning because i went to breakfast with my husband. I'M just going to take down my hair, get give it a brush and then start to straighten it, and my hair gets more wild as i brush it. It gets bigger. It gets thicker, it's just some wild hair. I had an undercut. So that's why my cut is so funny right now my hair just grew out so funny i'm not allowed to use any serums, any heat protectant, no, nothing! I have to straighten my hair um, just like that with no product in it. So, like i was saying i did have an undercut for a year. It was my favorite haircut ever it was so easy i loved it. I did have to cut my hair every two weeks i had to shave my undercut and i had a full undercut. Like half my head, um from my like ears, down probably a little bit above my ears down, was all shaved. I had a zero for a full year. I loved it. I just loved how to style it and things like that um. Actually, it was not to my ears, it was above my ears. It was like my crown like a little bit of you know under my crown area, so it was a full undercut, but it looked so good. I always got compliments on it, but i finally decided to um grow it out. So now it's growing so funny do y'all see like it's shorter. On top it's longer on bottom, it's just growing so funny! So that's what made me want to get my tape. Ins um because i want longer hair without having to keep waiting for my hair to do what i wanted to do. So that's why i decided on tape, ins - and these are the extensions that i got from amazon. I got two of each size, as i'm gon na show you. I got two 20s two sixteens and two fourteens um, but next time i will be getting some 18s because you can see obviously now that i'm doing the voiceover. I already have my extensions in so you can see the gap between the 16 and the 20., so i will definitely be getting some 18s for the next um installment in my hair, but i did get these from amazon. They were like highly rated um. I watched, like, i said, countless amounts of youtube videos and these were the extensions that a lot of youtubers were using. So i went with those, but i will be linking them in the description if you are interested in the type of hair that i got, and here i am with my tape and extensions, i really do love them. My hair is very thick, so my hair does feel extra thick and extra uh heavy. So i did expect that so, but you can see the color from my real hair to the tape and extensions. It'S a shade or two lighter. So i really need to fix that, but, as you can see, she went pretty high up with my tape ins due to my hair being so short and they are pulling a little bit. But she did state that that's what i could expect from them and within a few days when my hair starts to grow, they'll become looser and not pull so much so here they are. Here are my extensions. I feel like she blended them, really well big difference from no extensions to extensions. I mean these are 20 inch. The longest one is 20 inches. So big difference for me, as you can see, they're along my hairline and they are, they do feel tight like they feel tight. They are pulling a little bit, but i can't wait for those next few days like she stated that they'll feel just a little bit more better, but i do really do like them, and here it is. I'M gon na show you that i can put my hair up um, but let me turn around so you can see the gap as you can see the gap between the 16s and the 20s. I need some 18s in there because there's definitely a gap between the two sizes and then you can see the color of my hair and then the color of the extensions is there's a shade difference. I'M told by some people that it looks like like an ombre effect, but then i'm told that you can tell the difference, so we shall see i'm going to dye it um just to make it blend a little bit more better, but, as you can see, i Can put my hair in a ponytail which i love because i'm in a ponytail monday, through friday, most of my days, you can see my extensions along my hairline, but i will be hiding those um, but i understand why she had to go up that high because Of my short hair, so i completely understand, but if i smooth over my hair a little bit, you can't even see them. So it's all good, but, as you can see, i can't put my hair in a ponytail. Oh oh, and this is very soft hair quality. I'M happy with my purchase and i'm glad that i tried this out and i got my extensions. Finally, thank you so much for watching it's been a long day.
