How To Remove Tape In Hair Extensions At Home | Easy Hair Extension Removal | Glam Seamless Removal

Hi Beauties!

In today’s video I take out my Bellami pro tape in hair extensions at home! I know... I am no expert, but I thought it would a great first impression and a challenge for me to take on.

Here are the 2 products mentioned to have easy extension removal at home.

Bond remover:

I purchased the 2oz bottle and almost used it all. For reference I had 4 packs of bellami tape in extensions in my hair. So I would recommend this size if you have 4 or less packs of hair in your head and you plan on taking out your tapes only one time at home any more times or more hair would require you to purchase the 8oz bottle

Hair detox:

This really helped get all the glue residue out of my hair and has nourishing benefits also! I would recommend this add on. It is something that helped! I do hear that coconut oil can be used instead of this product but It was my first time taking out the hair so I wanted to try products that were meant for it.

I really honest with you guys, I'm kind of nervous to do this, so I do have my iced coffee. You can see there I'm so you will be up for a while, taking these all out, hey everyone, its Brittany and welcome to my channel, and today I will be showing you how I'm going to remove my tape and extensions at home if you've clicked on this Video I'm assuming it's the first time that you're taking mere extensions out at home, guess what I have a confession: it's mine as well, so we're gon na be going through this together. So I did purchase some a removal stuff from glammed seamless. It looked really easy. I watched their video which I'll go ahead and link their video down below, so you guys can kind of use that, as reference to I have all this stuff here, so I'll walk you through what we're gon na do, and hopefully it doesn't take forever. So we'll go ahead and go over the two items that glam seamless sells for removing your extensions. The first is the rapid release remover. So this is what we're gon na spray on. First she'll, really just get the tape out. You know, and then the second thing I thought was cool to get is the hair, detox scalp and boost removal treatment, so this is supposed to help out with getting the glue residue out of your hair. So hopefully this makes it really easy. Hey guys, I'm just interrupting this video really quick. I want to say one other thing that I did forget to mention that you will need besides the two products from glam seamless to remove the tapes. Is a comb like this because the actual tail end is great to get in between the tape and it really just helped with separating it? I didn't have one so you'll see in the next clip. It was a little more difficult. The first couple tapes for me to take out but believe me, you guys the more like the the more tapes that you take out the easier it gets so don't be discouraged and stick around and watch there's the video. Let'S try it so I already had. I went ahead and just separated my hair and we're gon na go ahead and focus on this one piece together: okay, so we're gon na call this our test piece gon na see how these products work with removing the hair. So what I'm doing is just taking the actual piece that I'm gon na remove, and I want to make sure that there's no hair on the bottom or the top. It'S just the piece and you could see how far the glue like the tape has moved down and kind of like the glue residue. That'S all on my hair. So hopefully all that stuff will come out. So let's go ahead. We'Re gon na take the rapid release. Remover and in the video she sprayed it twice on the top and twice on the bottom, and then it what is? It is kind of like um. The edges are kind of popping up on their own, but I'm gon na go ahead and take a comb and try to help get that okay, it's kind of stuck there you guys, okay hold on. I need help. I'M gon na go ahead and spray one more time and then this comb, the tail end, is not thin enough to get between the tape. So what I thought to use is one of these guys, the little hair clips. So, let's see if this can get in between there bingo all right, so we got that Wow all right. I got the top piece off ooh, so it looks like the bottom tape, so they sandwich the the hair, the tape ins. So it looks like the bottom: one has the tape on it. Ooh, okay or the tape is just stuck in my hair. Okay, I'm just getting frustrated. Oh finally, oh my god, you guys this is really hard. So look. There goes the tape, both sides. So the tape was actually stuck to my real hair and it wasn't on the actual fake hair. So that's why it took forever. Oh, my gosh, okay, the first time was pretty hard. Let'S try another one, alright, alright! So this one came out with the tape still stuck to still stuck to the hair, so right here, I'm actually spraying the detox. This is the oil based remover. That'S gon na really help get all of the tape and residue out of your hair. It is kind of greasy, so it does make it easier for the product build-up to kind of slip out and you can kind of comb it out with the comb. I just wan na keep throw this out there again, you guys, I am NOT a professional okay. I'M a regular girl, just like you at home, trying to get this stuff out of my head. We cannot leave our homes. I just want my hair to breathe, naturally for a little while, so hopefully I can do that. Alright, it looks like the first taping was. Probably the hardest, but I'm not giving up whoo girl all that product and build up. This is probably one of the grossest videos I am I'm ever doing so now, I'm going to take that hair detox, I'm gon na spray on all that product and residue of tape. You can see I'm starting to drip now the makeup is coming off. You guys so is this hair okay. That was good. Let'S do another one, maybe back here, I'm just gon na kind of massage the band and I can kind of feel where it's loose. I just bring some clips to help clip my hair. Well, I'm doing this. So it doesn't fold over in my face and if you keep pulling hard and you're having it feel like it's not loose enough, just spray more of the remover, I would say if you're doing this at home, like pop on a movie or something that way you Can pass the time and not get too crazy bored so with this one, it looks like the bottom piece didn't come out: the tape still on there really good. So I'm going to spray some more on the actual tape itself, so that should help loosen it and it did. I feel it I got right in between there and boom. But again this tape is still in there. So what I'm going to do, then, is I'm going to go ahead and take this the hair, detox and spray it right on the tape and kind of massage it in there he's my comic kind of kind of brush it to where it's lifting. I don't know. If you can see that the tape is actually lifting off of my hair there, we go get one and boom perfect. Now I have the residue of the tape. Still in here, I'm going to spray some more of the hair detox, really massage it in there and then take my comb and lightly brush it through you guys. You will lose some hair with this. Like that's the thing about tapings is you will lose a little bit of hair? You just want to be patient. I find the more patient you are with it. It was what I'm experiencing so far the less hair that you're gon na get coming out, because I'm telling you guys that first extension girl, I had some hair coming out, because I was trying to just rush and get it over with. But you can't do that. You got ta, be patient all right. This is a perfect example of all this, like buildup of tape and like residue and like product or whatever. I just sprayed the hair detox stuff, it's really oil-based and then we'll go ahead and just kind of brush it through. You guys we have come a long way. I got this whole half done so now we have just the rest of all of this hair. Wish me luck guys. I did it. Oh I took out all of that hair. You guys it took me two and a half hours. It took me two and a half hours. My hair, my sculpt, is super greasy from the. What does that stuff called detox which that really helps with getting like the residue and tape out? I did watch a little bit of Netflix while I was taking it all out, so I'm watching Outer Banks, I'm on the last episode and it's so good. You guys should definitely watch it, but there's hair everywhere. I have my hair here. I have some pieces from earlier. You guys. I can't believe I got all of this out. Look at all of this hair like Oh, oh, I need a neck massage. Now it's like a lot a lot. I will say if you just keep going it's gon na work out, I did have to go in my bathroom I'll show you guys. The lighting is not the greatest in here and they look so amazing, but I did use my cabinet mirror. Picking the hair out makes it so much easier if you have a mirror in the back of you, but oh my god, you guys, I cannot wait. I'M gon na go ahead and like wash this all up, I'm gon na wash my face wash my hair. Go to bed and then tomorrow I'm gon na go ahead and style it and I have not had my natural hair and it's so short and definitely needs a trim. I have not had my natural hair like this and like over a year, so let my scalp feels amazing. It was a lot of work, but this stuff did help and I would do it if I was in a pinch like right now we're all. In a pinch, we can't even go get our hair done, so it was really good.

Samantha Brown: You’ve gotta go through and spray each one then go back through and take them out so it gives time for the solvent remover to sit on the extensions and loosen them up so it’s easier to remove.

Hello: You just convinced me not to get tape-ins.

Michelle Peffer: I appreciate your honest real-time video of what its like to remove tape-in's. I'm about to take mine out for the first time tonight. You kept it real and this will help me lots. Thanks for sharing xoxoxo

OMAMHTHRSMYD Matrix Maga: I love that you all go to the hair salon, you give so much money to put on the hair extensions, and then you think about the $50 you're gonna pay to remove the hair extensions right. What can I say?

Fatima Hernandez: This was so helpful! I just got tape in for the first time and it’s barely been 2 weeks. I want them off already do you have any advice? They’re itchy idk if I’m just not washing them right or what?

Anneliese: I got absolutely scammed with my tape ins. I paid about $330 for the hair itself which I expected, and initially about $80 for the install which I thought was reasonable. Then when I came in on my wedding day (literally a week and a half later) for my style they told me they undercharged me for the install and that I actually owed another couple HUNDRED DOLLARS just for the install. I didn’t have time to argue but they literally charged me $405 to install 3 bundles. They said they accidentally took the total install price and deducted the hair cost and that’s why the initial install charge was only about $80. I will never go to the salon for hair extensions ever again haha God only knows what they would charge me to take these out

shelby parker: i’m so not looking forward to taking mine out. i’m pretty sure my hair is matted at the top of the tape in, has that happened to you?

Dalia Rodriguez: Girllll thank you so much for this video! I’m taking out my extensions while I’m watching this video and I’m trying to be patient lol

SMB_: Thank you for this my friend installed them on me like a week ago but she did such a bad job it doesn’t blend with my short hair cut whatsoever

Handsomedevil3: Which lip combo are you wearing? Love the color

Elle Wilson: I came across this when looking for micro ring extension removal videos for my own extensions in lockdown...this stressed me out lol

Anahi Ortega: Omg! I really love your short hair better I have my extensions right now, I just had it last week but I just want to take them off... I got desperate it’s just that they are not for me.. this is my first time using extensions and I don’t like them!!!!! I have the ones with beads

pme.artist: ok this is great thanks for sharing... at least now i know what to expect when i take mine out... im not looking forward though!! :(

Traci T: Did you ever find a better remover. Just went through the same crap. My hair had so much glue left in it.

Kish1006: I used just pure argon oil. Let it sit.

4Locococo_ xo: You can also use conditioner love your videos

Adri Bella: 91% alcohol & hair oil you’re welcome

MARCELLA NA NOVA ZELANDIA: It is really funny but not at all. When I went to put the tape extensions, the owner was so lovely with me. She never said to me that I need to take out myself overnight so then she will put back next day. No funny at all. I am disappointed now. I don’t want to do this. And will cost me $150 to the professional out it back.

Hoorain khan: Not gonna get tap entention
