Welcome back to my channel um, i have had the feeling lately like i just want to do something different with my hair, but i didn't know what so i had the bright idea of going on amazon and looking up tapen hair extensions. I just wanted to try something different, so i am going to be trying trying attempting this is not a how-to video. This is just me, recording myself trying this out for the first time ever, i'm not a professional. I have no idea what i'm doing. I have watched youtube videos to figure out what to do here, so i am gon na try. This out see how it goes. Tell you guys about the hair that i'm using and um just see what happens so wish me luck, i'm a little nervous but um. I think i'll be able to do it so we'll see the length of my hair currently. So my hair is pretty long, it's not like super long or anything like that, but it is on the longer side. I'Ve never bought hair extensions on amazon before, but i figured since i'm trying this out myself and i might completely fail. I don't want to spend loads and loads of money on hair extensions that i'm going to ruin or mess up on or something so i they were pretty affordable. Amazon, prime, you know pretty convenient, so i was looking up so many different brands and we're reading. So many reviews - and these were the ones that i came across - that i felt like i liked the most so they come in a cute little box like this. The brand is called um, more sue or more so i'm not sure the exact pronunciation on that. But that's what the box looks like and then inside the box you get your little tape ends. So this is what they look like. I'M gon na have to straighten them because they have this little kind of wonky wave to them now from the packaging. But that's fine um i feel like, like i said i think they're gon na match. I feel like my hair, might be slightly more ashy just like a little bit, and these are a little bit more warm to tone them a little bit so we'll see. I am not going to tone them right now, i'm just going to kind of wing it and try it out um. These are reusable, i think, to reuse. These. All you have to do is just replace um the tape which you can buy on amazon. For a few dollars as well, i said i don't know what i'm doing. This is my first time trying this out. I have watched youtube videos. There is one in particular that was really helpful that i can link down below um and yeah. I think i'm gon na sit on the floor to do this, so i'm gon na have to like bring you guys down with me, and i have a mirror in front of me and i have a little mirror that i'm gon na set up behind me. So i can kind of see the back of my head um. I have some clips. I have um a scrunchie in case. I need to put my hair up to like section it better than the clips. I have my straightener and i also got three boxes of um. These extensions before i forget the color that i got is um two slash two, seven slash six one, three, fifty grams - and this is the 22 inch extensions. I said if you want to see like a how-to video i'll link, the one that i'm going to be using below um, i'm just kind of taking you guys, along with me, through the process to see the before and after etc. So i will link that down below if you want to try it out yourself. Okay, the lighting right here is kind of terrible, but this is the best i can do. I am on the floor. I'Ve got my little set up. I have my video pulled up. This is a video i was talking about. I'M gon na follow her video. She um shows in her video that she sections her hair out from the top and then makes her way down, and it's like supposed to be a lot easier, as opposed to starting from the bottom and then going up your head. I don't really know i'm starting to get extremely nervous, but we'll see i also went and grabbed um a. I can't even see it. It just like disappears um a rat tail comb to make like sectioning my hair super easy, and then i just trimmed the ends of my hair. I can always go back and do a little bit more, but i just kind of made it more piecey, so um. I think it's okay and i think the color doesn't look bad. It just looks like a highlight and then also can we like look how good that blends i'm freaking out so and now i look like a crazy person, but i'm almost done. I am towards the bottom, and i know that if you like to wear your hair down or wear your hair up a lot, you should stop about two inches before you're at the bottom of like your hairline down here. So i'm almost there. I think after i have like this one and then one more to apply and that'll be the second um box. So i might open up the third box and just use like one or two out of there and then just use them on to do like one. More section of just like two sandwiches, so i think that's what i might end up doing, but i'm literally almost done so after i finish this. I will show you guys what it is. Looking like, it's been like two hours now, i'm finally finished i did it. I can't believe i did it. Do you like it yeah, it looks good, it looks exactly like your hair. Does it look like me yeah entirely, it's good yeah. Let'S see, let me see, does it look like it blends? Do you want to touch it? I'M scared, too, why where's the little things? That'S tape, they're tape ends. Oh i touched something. Have you noticed anything? Well, i knew you're doing hair as soon as you told me i was like. Oh, she wants to show me your hair. You just look like legs. Standing so i wanted to actually jump on here and give you guys a little bit of an update on the hair extensions and how i'm liking them, and everything also sorry about this, like weird glare, i don't know if this is gon na show up on the Video, i'm pretty sure it is, but there's like a weird glare on this video, because i have the tiniest scratch across the front camera on my phone, i'm using my phone to film this um, but i have the tiny scratch across the front camera every time i Use it now. I just have this weird, like fuzzy look like if there's a fingerprint on it or something and it's so annoying and it's just the tiniest scratch and i have a screen protector on it and everything but like it's cut out around the camera. So that's the only place on my phone, that's not protected, and it has a scratch on it. So so sorry about the quality is basically what i'm trying to say anyway. Um. Let me back up. This is what my hair looks like today. This is what it looks like all curled and everything i actually finally went through and decided to cut some of the extensions if you watched like my last. I think it's my last two videos. I didn't blend my hair into the extensions yet because i've just been at home for one i don't. I haven't really left the house and if i have my hair's, been up and like a bun, so not a big deal but um. I was trying to figure out how i wanted to blend them, because i didn't really want to cut the extensions because i feel like if i cut them whenever i go to put them back on. Unless i'm like, really careful and tedious about like the like taking them on and putting them back on in the exact same place, it's going to get all messed up. Do you know what i mean like because they're placed at different heights on my head? So if i just start chopping away - and i don't put them back in that in the exact order - it's going to look really awful, so i don't want to ruin them. I plan to reuse um the extensions as much as i can, because, after having extensions, i can never like i'm never going back to not wearing them. I still have some pieces where you can see like pretty obviously like this is my hair, obviously, but i'm not really bothered it pretty much stays in like place. I curl everything together, so it's not super noticeable decided to do actually was. I got this little thinning comb. I think it's called a thinning comb. It just like uh is a comb that has like a little razor on each side, so i normally trim my hair and i just do like one cut like straight across and just have it very blunt and um. Obviously, blunt and hair is not going to blend in with the extension, so i just decided to like find like the ends of my real hair, because i go. I trim them every month anyway. So it's not like. Oh my gosh, i'm cutting my hair um. I just found like the ends, and i would just take each end that i noticed was really looking very out of place and not blending much, and i would just probably for like two inches up or so just really thin it out, and so it kind of Comes to like a very thin point at the bottom of my hair, and so just doing that i feel, like kind of just allowed the hair to kind of blend in more seamlessly. Like i said, you can still see some like little pieces, but i'm not really concerned. I don't care that much it's just. I mean i really don't leave the house that much and when i do um i have my hair in a bun. Otherwise my hair is curled, for you know anything else. Videos pictures normally and i don't think it looks bad. So i'm not really concerned. There are some like little pieces like i said, but i'm not worried about it. I do also have like some overgrown um bangs in the front and by overgrown i mean super overgrown um, so they're pretty long so for this i literally took like the front extensions and i um kind of shortened these pieces, so i'm gon na have to just Be careful with like the two front, piece, extensions and just like separate those because those ones i did cut some of the length um and they're, probably like two inches shorter from the rest of the extensions just to blend them in with, like my very short bangs. So are very short compared to the rest of my hair. So that's what i did and i feel like it, um kind of helps to look a little bit more natural um, my natural hair anyway, from like bleaching and stuff like i have natural layers, which is pretty much just like breakage um from bleaching, my hair, the Last few years, so i have like layers in my hair, so anyway yeah um, so i also did go ahead and tone my extensions um when i was like watching all the videos and everything pretty much everything i saw said not to tone them once they're on Your head, but i got sent this product. This is not like sponsored they're, not asking me to mention this, but they did send this to me in like a pr package um a month or two ago, and i decided to try it out, and this is the vanilla, no yellow incredible foam conditioner. So it's not like a purple shampoo, it's a conditioner and it comes out literally like what can i put i'll just put it on my palette, my highlight palette, so it literally comes out like so cool um, and because it's like a mousse foam, i feel like It'S really easy to get into all your hair, to um tone your extensions, if you already have them on so what i did is i got in the shower. I wet all my hair down. I brought my brush my hair brush, which i always use a wet brush, totally recommend for regular hair or extensions, but i brought my hair brush in the shower combed. Everything down did my normal, like shampoo, conditioner everything, and then i really combed through everything, and i took the um mousse and just worked it through like the mid to ends of my hair and then i took the brush and brushed it through just to make sure I got everything and there wasn't any like weird splotches of purple or anything in my hair, and i feel like it worked amazingly. This stuff worked amazing with using it in the shower and like combing it through your hair. I also did it after shampooing and conditioning because i didn't want to like shampoo and go in straight with this and have like my hair, be stripped of all of like the oils and everything and want to like soak up any conditioner. So i condition it with a regular conditioner first and then i went ahead and added this, but here is what the extensions are. Looking like now um, you probably can't tell because my horrible camera quality, but they are super shiny, they're, very smooth. They hold curl very well, i'm able to curl them. I am able to tone them with purple conditioner. I have straightened them. I have oh also for the very ends of the extensions you can see. They kind of look a little thin on the very end. I took my little like razor comb and just thinned out the ends and point cut them a little bit to make them look a little more natural because they were a little bit blunt. When i first put them in, but after kind of thinning them out, they just i feel like they look more like natural hair, as my son, so um yeah. This is so this is my hair. I'M so impressed definitely recommend amazon extensions from this brand, like so impressed in the price, so good, so good, so i'll have them linked below. If you want to try it out as well as everything i have used and yeah make sure, just if you do try it out yourself just watch as many videos as you can just to make sure that you have a good like clear understanding of what you're Doing before you do it also, in the very beginning i forgot to mention like the first day um, i did have a headache like the day after installing them, and it was like a headache for the entire day, just because my scalp wasn't used to the weight Of the extensions, but after that, like first day um, i was fine and i have been fine. They, actually, i wasn't expecting it because i, like i said i've never had extensions before, but the tapes are actually super flexible and pretty comfortable, like i wasn't thinking that you could like literally bend them and stuff, but they bend they're flexible um. Let me put my hair up really quick to show you. This is what my hair looks like in a ponytail or like. If i were to have it in a ponytail. Obviously it would look a little bit better, but just to show you i have like tapes. All along here i have tapes all along here and then even some over here and as long as you're, like mindful of like, where they are and where your hair is covering them. When you put your hair up, they don't really show at all, and this is totally comfortable. I have worn my hair out in ponytails buns, like i said, and you can't even tell so. That is all thank you guys so much for watching. Also, like i said, let me know if you want to see like another, updated um, hair extension tape in hair extension, video in the future, so yeah. Thank you guys so much for watching, and i will see you in the next one: bye, [ Applause, ], [ Applause, ],
