Tape Ins On Short Hair Ft Curls Queen

Okay, my babies, so I'm back today to show you guys this installation for these tapings that I got from Carl's Queen. This is a sponsored video. I did a center part straight. I tried to put my hair up in you know: half up half down. I also did a high button test as well to kind of see how it would all work. That'S me with a side part like my natural hair right now is short, so I'm really shocked that I was able to execute this hairstyle. I'M just so excited to show you guys, so, let's get into it so first things. First, I've got about four bundles that were sent to me from Carl's Queen. It'S recommended that you use two, especially if your hair is quite long anyway and you're, just like just adding it for extra fullness too. I got like Yaki hair bundles um, just so it can match my natural hair, so with the taping bundles, I also got a package of items. I was gon na help with this process, so a taping comb. I also got a brush just to kind of brush through the bundles. I got a silk Bonnet extra tape and sectioning clips too. I believe, there's also a note in the order too, and that's pretty much it now. As I said, it's recommended that you use two bundles to install your hair, but I ended up using four just because I didn't want like the install to look in and just especially because my hair is short as well. I just I just needed, like extra hair, so that I could like cover all the tapes. I actually got Lillian to help me install the tapes in initially I'll, actually list link down below a tutorial that I watched that helped me kind of figure out how to actually do the installation for the tapes. But, as you guys can see, my hair is actually really really short. I relaxed my hair earlier on in the year and around the summer I cut my hair extra short and I wanted to do like the Nia Long like nice look and it just didn't execute. I'M actually going to cut it again because I want to go like I want to do blonde and gold anyways. This is not important, but I was actually so shocked that the tape worked with my short hair. So if you have short, hair and you're like kind of concerned whether this work for you trust me babes, this is gon na work for you. So, as you can see, Lillian is here just like installing the tape. So what we did was we parted each section, and then we just like got a section. We straightened my natural hair minding my hair was relaxed as well, but my hair is so thick like relaxer. Just doesn't even like get it as smooth as I want it. Sometimes, no actually not thick. It'S curly like it's super super curly like it's really kinky. So sometimes I can't get my hair like dead dead straight, but it's fine mind you. My hair was like two inches shorter than this since the summer like. To be honest, I don't really care about lump, because I know that on my birthday, I'm going to chop my hair off again start again on my natural hair Journey because, like I relax my hair and it's not that I regret it, but I just I just Missed my Kinky Curls here we are just like doing a little tape test. I was just trying to like see how we can get everything covered. Our lives that we're gon na need to add extra tape later on. But, to be honest, this guy's, like we were just like trying to follow a tutorial, I think when it comes to tapings, especially if you've got short hair and especially if you want to put your hair up in one. Sometimes I think it's like super important put. The tapes in in a way that the tapes are going to fit comfortably in your head, putting them in so that when you are doing like different hairstyles and stuff, the tapes are being concealed and stuff. We left quite a bit of extra hair around the perimeter of my head, just so that when I want to do like a high up, ponytail or half up, half down or something like the tapes are being somewhat concealed. Sorry Nils is doing her best to like put the tapes in for me and, as you can see, she's just like partnering my hair and laying down the tapes and stuff like that. I'M so sorry, if it's not super super clear and she's in the way, that's so annoying, but I feel, like you guys, can kind of make out what is going on here. So we're just putting the tapes in - and here I am around the front, as you can see like guys, look how short my hair is. Okay, so I'm actually annoyed that the 90s hairstyle didn't even work called me guys, because I wanted to debut it, and I wanted you guys to be so proud of me that, like I'm doing something different, I don't know my head is just too big. I just can't do short hair, as you can see. We kind of parted my hair to kind of figure out how the tapes are going to lay, especially if my hair is going to be parted, because that's how I'm gon na that's how I'm gon na wear the hair, like my hair, most of the time anyway, Like middle part and stuff, so Lillian's just trying her best to kind of like put the tapes in for me and make everything work process took like two or three hours. It was so so long so anyways. Eventually I start to take over because I was like Lillian. Why are you taking so long? But then I couldn't I've got bad eyesight. I got bad eyesight, so I had to get her to like put the tapes in for me because I couldn't actually see the underneath. It was taking too long for me, and so I would just straighten up the hair and then like I'll, just kind of like guide her on how I want everything to kind of lay, and here you can see, I'm like testing how the tapes would cover on My head and I was like really impressed like the hair itself, matched my natural hair. A lot I mean you can still see how short my hair is and stuff, but it Blended out pretty pretty well, and here I am just testing out like how my edges are gon na look and stuff, and just like testing, like you know, testing out the Blendability and stuff, so here I am, I go close up on the like kind of close to my part, but not like on my part kind of thing and then, like you know, I'm just pressing them in um. You definitely have to like press the tapes down harder. I wasn't pressing them hard enough here. I am just trying to clean up my part. Okay - and you know you can see the difference with my hair right now, but I think I do a decent job of like blending it in later on, I'm just trying to like hot curl, my natural hair. Here'S when I was like oh my gosh like I could actually make this work, even if it was like just using a headband and just like slicking it down. I would absolutely do that, so I used a bill got to be sprayed because I feel like when I use gel and stuff it thins out. My hair makes it like watery and stuff, and so it makes like tracks and clip um tapings like hard to like blend in so after using some got to be. I felt like okay, like this could actually work like it's actually Blended in okay and it's not clockable like it's not like it's, not crazy. Clockable, like I mean if you're like a hair, stylist, of course you're gon na be able to see, but you know also, if you're a hater, but most people won't even clock that, and this is why agenda today, I'm starting to consider dating white men because white Men, I don't think they'll be able to clock, I'm I I'm convinced I am convinced, and that was a joke. That was a joke. That was a joke, anyways um. So here I am after styling it and like installing it. I was like. Oh my gosh, like wow like this, actually looks pretty decent. I mean you can still see the lines of the tapes because I flattened down my hair too flat, but I do fix that. I do fix that so anyways. So here I am doing the middle part test. I was like okay, let me see if I can do a middle part as well, and let me see if I've got like flexibility in, like you know like doing different styles, and here I am boom. Look at that middle part, so I gave you guys the middle. This is the side part. Now sorry, I should say side part. So here is the side part. Oh, my gosh, that's not bad, not bad, okay, not bad, and then I try to do um half up pop down because you guys know. I love a half that half up half down moment and I was like. Let me see if I can finesse it and see if, like I can, make it look decent, and I think I did look half up half down and usually when I wear her pop off down, it's curly anyways and it's a bit messy and a bit crazy. So it will look sleeker than this, but I just wanted to see okay and then, of course, the most important one bun look at that boom. Yes, it worked so now, I'm just thinking. Okay, let me see how things are gon na look curly, because I feel like with curlier hair, I'm able to finesse it a little bit more because, like when I curl my hair, I tease it out. I wave it out and I just make everything just look a little bit more free-flowing um. I I hate neat curls, like I feel like. If you've been following me for a while, you know I hate neat colors um. I haven't added any layers yet because I was like I just want to see if this could blend right. So I got my curling tongs out and I was like okay. Let me curl this see if it works for your girl, and I was just like taking my time. You know curling it and I'm not gon na lie. Let me tell you right now: the Yaki hair is the one. This Yaki hair is the one okay. It'S absolutely the one like it matched my hair perfectly. The color is the best because I wasn't even going to dye these bun candles and I was going to dye my natural hair, but I was like you know what let me just see if I can make the look look natural and I feel like it, looks Pretty natural, like I look like there's American Girls on the freaking relaxer box, like you know those girls that get their blowout like and they've got like mad long hair or whatever like from and they're always from America, anyways ciao. I did a high up test just to see kind of like okay. If I put a clip in how is that gon na look, you know because the clips are in the clips are back in right now and then I try to see okay, let me see if I could do a bun. This is after curling, my hair, and I was just so impressed like a low bun. Look at that. I love that I'm so happy so yeah guys.
