Everybody today's video I'm going to be talking a little bit about my new hair extensions that I have they are by the brand Donna Bella and if you are new to my channel, you probably don't know that I have tried a ton of different brands and different Types of hair extensions - I'm not a huge fan of clippings, I think they feel really heavy and I don't like the idea of having to wake up earlier just to clip in some extra hair. I have tried fusion by a few different brands, including Donna Bella, and I think they're OK at times, but I don't like how PC they tend to lock. So tapings are definitely something that I always tend to go back to and these are the Dyna Bella tape and hair, and I am going to be showing you guys clips on what the hair looked like in the package and everything like that. But I'm not going to be showing you the application or removal process. I do have videos on that already that I will be leaving down below if you are interested in that this is just a quick video showing you guys, the Donna, Bella tape and hair extensions that I currently do have in my hair. So I have 25 complete sandwich wax so five packs of ten - and this is the most hair I've had with tip and extensions, and I do absolutely love it. I think it definitely looks a lot more full, and this is not all the hair that I have. I do like to keep some in the back just to blend in with my shorter layers. So obviously my hair, you can see is super short. It has hairspray and I so don't mind that, but you can see how short my natural hair is compared to the extensions or just like under here. This is my natural hair and the extensions are 12 inches. I'M going to be showing you guys the clips of what they look like in the package and what my hair looks like before. Here is my hair, without any extensions in it. Even when I do wear my hair. This short, I tend to put in a few extensions on the sides just to filled that out. I would say that I have a normal amount of hair that is fine textured, so the sides tend to look a little bit on the thin side. Here is what the extensions come in. You can see that I am clearly pretty happy that they finally came in the mail, and you can see here that I did get three different colors. I got two packs of the twelve 600. These are I highlighted version. I got two packs of the number 24, which is a light blonde and then one pack of number 12, which is a medium blonde, just to blend everything in better and on the back. It basically just tells you a little bit about the tape ins as well as Donna Bella's company, and this is what they look like when you first take them out of the package. They are nicely packaged in my opinion, and I do like that. The Donna Bella is more of a seamless look. I have tried different tape and hair extensions that just look like plastic at the top, so I am really a fan of how these are total. Like I said in three different colors, I went a little bit darker. This time, just because when you get such light hair extensions, it doesn't tend to blend so well when you have some dimension in your hair. So that is why I definitely wanted to have more than one color or even two. That is why I got the three packs just to really blend with my hair and my hair. Naturally, underneath this area is darker than the top of my hair. So that is why I did get some darker, and I really am glad that I did that this time around the last time I got fusions. They were too light for me. Then I had to go back in once they were applied and put in more highlights in my own hair. So this time I fly that I did go a little bit darker than I initially wanted, because I ended up blending perfectly. So you can see here in this next clip that before applying the light blonde to my hair, I did tone it with the GK hair purple shampoo. So I just did that really quickly for a few minutes, blow-dried it and then I went ahead and applied. So I'm gon na be showing you guys a clip of that as well as what they looked like after application. Just straight, I think, styled at all before I show you guys that I do want to mention when you first apply them and before you watch them, they don't tend to blend as well as most people but like, but after the first wash is when they really Do but a whole lot better, so I'm gon na be showing you guys those clips right now before applying hair extensions. I always recommend holding them up to your hair to make sure they blend or if they need to be colored or toned. You can see that it is more golden than my hair, and that is why I did use a toning shampoo. Only on the light blonde hair extensions - and here you can see on the Left - is after toning and then on. The right is the original color. Another tip I have when working with multiple colors is to lay them out on a table. Like I said before, my hair is darker on the bottom and then lighter on the top. So you can see that I did match some of those highlighted pieces with the medium blonde, but I do have some leftover highlighted pieces that I put together and I also have some of those highlighted pieces with the light blonde and then I doubled up some of The light blonde toward my face, this does not have to be your exact plan, but I do recommend doing this just so. You have an idea in your head where they are going, and I also do keep in mind where I do want to place them before application, and here is the hair after I have applied before I did a blending haircut. You can see that the color match up is pretty close to being exact, but it does need a good blending haircut. The blending haircut is the most important part of your extensions. Sometimes if the hair color does not match perfectly. If you give it a good blending. Haircut, you do not have to worry so much about seeing where your hair is and where the extensions to meet your hair, and here it is after I gave it a good blending haircut. You can see how short my natural hair is compared to the extensions. The main thing that I would recommend doing is not blunt cutting your extensions I like to do slide, cutting as well as point cutting, so you can see that it does blend in pretty nicely but, like I said before, after the first wash, that is when you Really do get a good blend to the extensions, and here is all of the hair that I have in my head and keep in mind that my natural hair is so short. So most of that is definitely the extensions. What I like about tape ins also, is that you can put them in ponytails. If you are more careful, I found what the fusions I had a lot of pieces falling out or being seen. So that is another reason why I think tapings are so great. You just have to be careful that you look before you actually put the ponytail in, so you cannot see any of the tapes and if your client is wanting to wear their hair up, make sure leave a 1-inch perimeter around your hairline so that the tape ants Are not being seen, this is basically what I have. If I don't style it right, then you can see my short hair versus extensions, which honestly right now shorter layers are coming back. Sir, like that modern, a mullet look is coming back and I've always been a fan of layers, no matter what my hair length is, but I do like to make sure that they are flooded, because I do not want my hair to look exactly like a mola. I'M just saying that I don't mind some layers and volume in my hair, so this is what I have I have had them in now for two weeks. I wanted to do this portion of the video to really get an idea of. If I was going to like this specific brand of tape and hair sections or not - and I will say that I do like them a lot - they have not tangled it on me and a lot of the other extensions I've tried do within a few washes. These have not tangled at all they're really easy to blow dry and style and wash, and they don't feel tank Lior stringy at all. So if I ever do want to put hair extensions in after having these in which they do last three to six months, like I said I've had them in for two weeks, I will more than likely be going with the Donna Bella, taping extensions, just because so Far, my experience has been really great. Here is the back with all of the hair back and I'm not quite sure how it's looking just because I did not look in the back necessarily, but you can see that it blends quite well. Like I said before, these are the 12 inch and I only blended the haircut. I didn't take any length off and these are the shortest that the tape ins come in and I think that's perfect for me. You can still braid with it put it in ponytails. Kurla everything like that, but it is not too too long or too much hair. So I think that is all I really want to say about these hair extensions. I have been really loving them so far and I'm more than likely going to be doing another update. I always go from short hair for about a month or so, and then I miss having extensions in so that is why I put them back in I'm really decisive and I think that's a great thing for hair extensions, because you can always take them out. If you don't want them anymore, that's right. I do love the tapings because you can take them out and then reapply them once you retake and with fusions. You can take them out and then rebound them, but it's just such a bigger process, because you have so many more in your hair and with this I only have to retake 50 total, which is not that bad at all. I hope this video was helpful for you guys, like I said I'll, be linking all of my tape and hair extensions videos that I have them down below if you are interested at seeing the application and taking them out and everything like that. So if you have any questions, comments concerns go ahead and leave those down below. In the comment section, I will be happy to help you guys out. If you are new to my channel welcome. I hope you stick around and subscribe and I hope to see in the next one bye, everybody

pixelscanon: Great video!! Did you apply these yourself to your own head? I love Tape-Ins but I have no idea how to get them neatly in my own head but better on others. Also, You showed us 3 packs of hair, you used 5 though?  Are you a stylist? I like how you explain things!! XOXO

Jo A.: thanks for sharing!!! looks good girl!!

Rhea Marie: I’m currently growing out a pick, and am desperate for some length. How long is your hair pre extensions. Just so I have an idea on whether or not I need to wait a bit longer to grow my hair. Thanks !

Annie Marino: I have the 22" in my head right now, and the first time I washed my hair they started falling out. Any idea why this happens? I stopped mid shower and got out to salvage what I could then dried my hair and put in the pieces that fell out and they restock just fine, but now I'm concerned if I try to fully wash my hair I will lose all 40 pieces that are in my head. HELP!

Manda Garcia: Do these extensions have any body to them? I use Capelli//Qualitalia keratin bonds and they usually have a little bit of wave to them. Which usually gives my board-straight hair some volume and texture. Considering giving these a try.

Elizabeth Kennedy: Hi I was wondering about how high of a ponytail you are able to get with the tape ins? I cheer so I like the variety of being able to do low mid or high ponies and was just curious if a high (that means crown area for me) pony is a no go with tapes! Thanks in advance

Denise Gonzales: Oh I'm not sure if you covered this in the video but how long does it stay in your hair and last before having to go in to salon and have it re taped ?

Ashley Kate: If I want a v cut shape and I have hair that is past the shoulder length closer to the boob. Should I get two packets of 22” and then have my stylist blend it in? And how is the quality on the extensions and how long do they last please

Michele Dangora: Have you worn these in the pool/ocean? I am wondering if the effects from salt/chlorine greatly decrease the wear time.

Denise Gonzales: How many packs do u think I need i have thick hair down to the bra strap on my back and it's kind of like a V shape cut .... I'm doing it for length and not thickness so I was thinking 3 packs ??

Romeo and Char: How many pieces did you say you used? I have a growing out pixie cut its longer now but I only bought 40 pieces, is that enough?

Mrs Ortiz2100: What color extensions do you have on?

JoyBunny24: How many packs do you actually need?

Shae Roundy: Trying to figure out how many sets do I need, I have a pixie cut and the woman who will do my extensions is going to do a long Aline on me so trying to figure that out

Daniella Quiroz: Do you still recommend these ?

jessica bolarinho: how long did they last on you

GWEN WILSON: Worse haier I ever bought thin as hell n cheap ?!!!

Chelsea Mcwilliams: how many package to get? there are 10 in package so for short hair how many?i had a bob hair cut but grown a some
