Installing Tapeins On Relaxed Hair (Voiceover)

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, i'm janae nichols in case you are new, so in this video i will be doing a soap press and a taping install on my client. This will be her second tape and install using the same hair. So, yes, you can reuse tape ends. You just have to remove the old tape and put on the new tape for shampoo. I did use my olaplex clarifying shampoo and then i used the detangler by paul mitchell for my conditioner, so my client is relaxed. She is not natural, so while her hair is still wet, i did use my heat protectant. I will have it linked down below and i just sprayed that all over her hair and then i went in with my blow dryer i like to use the conair silver bird because it gets really hot and then i use my paddle brush from olivia garden. So it's very important with tape ins not to have any heavy oils in your hair. If you are going to use product or oils just make sure you keep it at the ends of the hair acting on the roots, because that could affect the tape adhesive and for my blow dryer setting, i do have it on high heat high speed. So on her edges, i am just using my bed head wax, stick love this stuff, use it on every single client, and then i used my little mini flat iron. To do her edges, i will be using the paul mitchell super skinny serum on her hair. Again, only at the ends nothing near her root and then i go ahead and flat iron. Her hair, i am using the t3 lucille one inch flat iron and i do have it on the highest setting, which i believe is 410. I will have a link for that down below and i also have a coupon code for 20 off so make sure you guys check that out, i'm just going through her hair and flat ironing it making sure i get her roots, really really good and just making Sure it's a nice smooth press, sometimes it made me wiser. Sometimes it made me colder. Sometimes it made me go bigger harder. My heart was frozen till i left the water, my wave of fire on top. This is her second install with these tape. Ins. The hair is from me um. I do have it for sale on my website, i'll leave it down below. Also, i do want to make it clear guys. I would not be doing this at home. I know it looks really easy, but there is just so many ways that it could go wrong and actually cause damage to your hair, to where you lose the follicle and it will not grow back. So i would definitely recommend going to a professional someone who knows what they're doing make sure you look at their work. You know, and just don't choose the first person that you see just make sure you study their work and feel comfortable going to them because, like i said this technique can really damage your hair. If it's done incorrectly, so yeah make sure they're certified in this. Are they you know taking a class? I would not go to someone who learned it off of youtube. Just being honest, i know i'm doing a video about it, but using a video and you doing it hands-on and actually learning is two totally different things. It'S not just about sticking the tape down, and you know having a little bit of hair in between texture matters, their lifestyle matters, the density matters like all of that matters, so you can't just watch a video and think you got a down pack, because that's where Things will go wrong and also guys, i'm trying to talk more in my hair videos, my still press videos, because you know normally. I just do my music and i rarely talk on my videos, but i feel, like you guys like when i talk on it, giving a little bit of information a little bit of education, so yeah, i'm going gon na try to talk more. My videos not gon na lie, some of them probably will just have music because i'll be trying to like knock these videos out to where i don't really have time to sit down and do a whole voiceover, but the times that i do have time. I will definitely do it for you guys so yeah, i'm just moving up the head. Applying the tape ends. Um a lot of people want to know how long these last me personally, i would not go over like 9 or 10 weeks. They may still be. You know in the hair strongly like you know, put together, but the thing about it is your hair is going to be so grown out at that point, that you're going to be able to see the tape. So i just would not go over like nine weeks. 10 weeks, but you know, everybody's different just depends on how you wear it, how you rock it, but i will say, as it does grow out, you could get damaged because of so much loose hair at the root that you could mistakenly like comb. It too hard or pull too hard to where it could cause damage, so i wouldn't keep it in super long. The good thing about tape ends, like i said you can't reuse the hair. So it's not like a waste of hair.
