Hi guys welcome back to my Channel today I'll be showing you guys how to turn teeth extensions into clip-in extensions so about over a year ago I got tape extensions fitted into my hair and they look really great. I actually love them, but just the maintenance of it was a bit too much for me, so I never actually got them put back in once. I took them out and they've just kind of been sitting in my drawer for a little while, and I didn't have to throw it away because very expensive hair and it's good quality hair. And I also didn't have the motivation to go to the house on and get it fitted every month. So I've been doing a lot of research and I decided that I can finally turn my tapes into clippings. So if you want to know how I did that just stay tuned yeah, so a while back, I actually experimented with some of the strands of my hair extensions, so just ignore different colors. But the first thing that you want to do remove the old tape from your hair extensions. If you haven't already done so, and then I like to use the bit, I just pulled off to earth like a tacky thing to remove any extra dirt. This step is optional, but I think it depends how sticky you want the band to be and you'll see why in the next step, then you just want to stick on your extensions to a very thin ribbon. You can get the ribbon in the color that will match the shade of your hair, but this is just what I had laying around and I thought why not cuz. She want me to see it anyway. So before when I said that stuff was optional, it's cuz, even though you've removed old tape, it will still be a little bit sticky, so it could technically stick onto ribbon, but I don't know how secure it would be. So that's why I opted for the tape. I'M doing a three band width or three extensions, wide extension weft, so I'm just taking three down on one side and flipping it over and doing the same on the other side for the second there you want to stick it a little bit higher than the first Layer, but I would stick it in between as opposed to right on top, because this will really help with covering any gaps in the extension just doing the same on the other side now for these gaps on the end, if you are doing a two-layer left, then I would cut one half and stick it in that little corner there, but as I'm doing, every layer left, I'm just gon na put my third layer on top and cover that bit. That'S missing kind of like laying bricks. You don't want to lay the brakes directly into each other. You want to do it slowly off to each other, so that it's secure. If that makes sense, I like to make sure both sides are equal, just to get a more uniform feel and look so then I simply sold on some accession clips using the regular method than you would with a regular left. I will add a link down below, as you can see, my sewing is not the neatest, but you can follow the tutorial in the description box here you can see the difference between a tool AOF and a three-layer left. I put it up against the sunlight, so you can see how thick each one is and always lead along with three layers is slightly. They get a new one with two layers: here's one with five hair extensions and three layers. This will be my main headpiece, where I'll put across the middle of the back head. The weft band area is quite thin and you can sew extensions on. It is a little bit trickier than sewing regular extensions, because you have to go through all the layers of tape, but I'd highly recommend saying it as it was seal the extension skevur and not leave any gaps like the one in this one. I enjoyed my sessions. Blue to match my current hair and fitted them into my head, I know you're all wondering what it looks like, so I've got some like gold bobby pins in because it's poufy, like from the back I'll, also insert some before and after pictures. They can see what my hair looks like without extensions and how they compare with the extensions. Thank you guys thanks so much for watching.
