What'S up guys welcome back to my channel? Firstly, I've got so many requests for this video and, secondly, what I was looking at getting taped hair extensions. I binge-watched these kind of videos. There was lots of questions that I had and I just wanted to see people's thoughts and opinions on them, so I'm making one for you guys. Okay, let's jump straight into the details. I got Zala hair extensions and I got the tape in extensions. I feel like the most popular hair. Extensions are clipping extensions and they obviously they have a little clip on them. You clip them into your hair and you can take them off whenever you want. Taping extensions are semi-permanent like you leave them in and they last for seven weeks, roughly seven to eight weeks so like I said, I got them from Zara hair extensions, which is like an online company. I liked it because, first of all, they got really good reviews over YouTube and, secondly, they are a Sydney based company and I live in Sydney. So I just like that it was local. Basically, I've got some leftover ones here. These are the taping extensions before getting extensions. I know nothing about taping extensions like I was such a noob. They come with a little adhesive strip here, so that's glue. They come in two sections like that. They grab a piece of your hair. So let's say they grab a piece here, they would have grab the top of your head. Obviously I grabbed a piece here they get the glue, stick it to your hair and they stick this to the other side. So it's like a little sandwich and they sandwich it in your hair. One thing that I found with all these dollar abuses: no one actually shows you their hair extension hair. So I'm going to do that for you, so they obviously do it under a few layers. So that if you wear your hair up or down or whatever you can't see them, so that's the tape, they're taped to the root of my hair, and these have been in for I'm gon na say like three weeks so, like I said, they're semi-permanent. So they can be removed. I think they just use like this weird anti adhesive thing like an oil and they just slide out and then, if you want to keep them in, you have to get them moved up every 7 to 8 weeks. So I'll talk about the extensions that I chose the size, the color and what I think about them. I was tossing up between the 22 inch and the 24 inch. I ended up getting the 26 inch, which is super long like this is the 26 inch very very long, so I got the 26 inch only because the color that I needed they were sold out of the 24 inch, but that was fine because so you going Longer is better because you can cut them. Okay, as far as color goes. This is where I was really overwhelmed and I was really scared to buy my hair extensions online because obviously, hair looks different in all different kind of photos and different kind of Lighting's, and I was like knowing me and my luck: I'm going to pick a color. It'S going to come in the mail and it's going to be nothing like my natural hair. They offer a color matching service. So what happens? Is you send them an email with like three photos of you? It can be in like different lying different positions. Beside the front, the back of your hair and someone will email you back suggesting a color. That was like the best thing that happened to me because originally I always see photos of my hair and I swear the bottom of it was like really platinum. So I don't know why I told myself, like oh yeah, I'll get the platinum blonde one, as you can tell I'm like not platinum blonde, so I sent them an email with three photos of me and they said: okay you're, definitely not platinum blonde and they suggested That I get two different colors, so they said, mixing two colors is always a really natural look, especially because my blonde there's lots of like different kind of tones in it, so they suggested that I get honey, beach highlights and beachy blonde. This is the beach blonde, and this is the honey beach highlight. So, as you can see, this is like my normal color. It matches perfectly - and this was just like those really light bits that I had sporadically in my hair as soon as they got put in. They just meshed so well to my hair, if you guys watch my blog, where I actually get my hair extensions in I'll link that up here, you can see that the color match is perfecto, so that color matching service with Zola was amazing and they replied in. Like four hours, so I said that email and they're, applying for hours being like honey beige highlights beachy blonde, do it, but this is basically the length. So I got a cut to. I guess, like a 24 inch extension, I guess you can say so. I'Ve had them this one for year, like for weeks and everyone's been saying, I should get them cut a little bit shorter and I do agree they're fine to maintain. I just think they look a little bit like hair extensions, but I think I am going to cut them a little bit more. I think I'll just cut like that. Much often because I think they'll just look more real and yeah just more real. Alright, let's get into the quality and the maintenance of these bad boys when they came in the package and I got them out - I was so shocked. There was so silky smooth and they were thick from the top all the way to the bottom. So when they get put in your hairs, obviously beautiful and glowy and soft, so I tried to leave it as long as I could until I had to wash them. As far as washing your extensions and your hair, you want to make sure that you're not using really alcohol-based chemical products. You want to use something natural and really gentle on your hair. First time I washed them. It was fine, just sort of get in between the tape parts. I let them air dry and I felt that the tips were really really dry. Like I felt, like my whole hair was really dry. I went and bought a spray oil, and that was fine, but I told myself the next time I wash my hair, I'm gon na get this right, like I'm gon na work out a way to get them nice and silky and smooth, and I feel like I've Done that this is the first thing that I'm going to talk about is coconut oil. When I'm getting ready for the shower, I basically I get a huge chunk of coconut oil. I warm it up between my hands, so it's like nice and wet and liquidy, and I just put it through all the ends: do not put oil on the tape because it will slip out. It will come out of your hair, so I just basically put the coconut oil from here down and then I just get ready for the shower. It honestly stays in for like five to ten minutes. I jump in the shower. I do all my shout stuff and then I rinse it out and that's when I start my shampoo and conditioner. I don't really shampoo the bottom that much I'll put it through a little bit just to get rid of the coconut oil, but once you share prove the roots it's going to flow down throughout your whole hair anyway. So I rinse all that out and then with conditioner again, like I said, I just use like a normal, organic natural conditioner, and I condition from here down. You don't want to condition the tape because it will slip, and then I also condition like this little part here, because this part is all my real hair. So I just conditioned a little bit of that and then I jump out of the shower and I tell dry my hair so really really carefully. I just sort of like squeezed it with a towel, and this is when my other products come into play. I actually got it in a little gift baggie when I went to that flow after-dark thing, so it's called a Vita smooth infusion. I'D actually never seen it before and I just got an a goodie bag and I was like yeah I'll give it a go. Basically, it's to nourish a hair and to stop it getting frizzy. So once your hair is towel dried, you just put a little bit in your palm mix it together and move it through the tips of your hair, and it makes it so so silky. So I definitely love this after using this the last two times I washed my hair. I will spray a little bit of this. It'S just macadamia luxurious oil spray. Again just focusing on the tips. You don't want to spray the roots with this. I comb it through with my hands and then really really gently from the tips to the roots. I use this little tangle teezer because apparently that's what this both to use with extensions. So I do that and then I put it in a braid and I let it air dry - and I did that this morning and my hair was so silky smooth as far as sleeping goes you're supposed to sleep with it in a braid, because it does get Naughty, I don't really struggle with it getting that naughty, because I bring this and this everywhere with me. I will spray this probably three times throughout the day. Don'T do it too much because you're going to saturate your hair, but I just do a light mist and it keeps really hydrated as far as updos go. I love my hair in like a big slick, high ponytail. I love it in a big bun. I love it in a braid. It'S really really important that you go to a salon or a hairdresser that you trust and tell them that you want to put your hair up. So all of my extensions are a really really good place that you can't see it when I put it up this one here is a little bit too close for my liking, because when I put it up, you can see it, but I'll show you. Oh, my gosh, I have a candle on. Can you imagine if I was like getting my hair up and it was like lit on fire, and that is something that would happen to me and you just need to make sure that you slide your normal hair over the extension and brush it. I honestly could not recommend them more and if you are deciding between tape and clip, I would personally get tape because clips are such a battle, that's so annoying and with tape. You don't even think about it. Like you wake up and you have beautiful hair. It'S just finding the right products and the right sort of routine that works for you in your hair and really taking care of them I'll quickly touch on the price of them. I thought that taking extensions would cost me like a grant like one to two thousand dollars, because that is what I've heard on TV and one of my friends. Actually she has it hair extensions and she says hers cost her fifteen hundred dollars and I was like don't not like enjoy defy that when I went onto Zala I was like yes, so good asset is $ 250. So I really like that they're affordable as well as far as hair extensions, go super affordable. Actually, I do have a discount card. I put up here, love Sarah. I think it is. I really hope I've covered everything that you guys wanted to know, but all in all such a positive experience, I love them. You guys know how happy they make me and in all my vlogs arounds like stop touching your hair girls. I can't end them. Yes, super happy with them and I highly highly recommend them if you're tossing up between getting them do its best thing I ever did. I really hope you guys enjoyed this video. I had so much fun talking about it. I could talk about her all day. It makes me so happy if you did enjoy it, give it a thumbs up, give it a like, because it really supports my channel and make sure to subscribe, because I upload new videos every three days. I will see you guys in my next video bye,

Em Mosley: Hey Sarah I was just wondering whether you got 20,40,60,80 pieces?

Olivia G.: Your hair looks so beautiful!! I do agree that getting a little cut off would probably make it look even better Also, have you tried curling your hair since you've had these extensions in? Is there anything specific you have to do to curl them?

iamrichellerae: You are amazing. The positivity you exude is so refreshing. Love that you are sharing that positive energy with humanity. Wishing you many more good things!

michelle demers: I love tape ins, I will be sending my pics to Zala now to see what they recommend. Your so adorable!!

Brooklyn Rendall: Could you do a video talking about different types of supplements (BCAA's, proteins, pre-workouts) and which ones you recommend (especially for beginners)? I know you've done a lot of research about it so I really wanted to see your opinion.

Nutree Cosmetics: Oh wow! Such an insightful video into a hair care.. you were on such a roll about the information.. loved it..

Anneke Van Rooyen: "One day I'm gonna make my own products" ... 3 years later - just released the Sarah's Day Natural Body Box <3

stephanie picanso: Hey Sarah! Love your videos! Just wondering if you're able to swim with these in? I love the long beach hair look, but I want to be able to surf as well!

Claire Towell: could you show some different ways to style your hair with the extensions like how to do braids and a bun? I definitely want to get extensions I just want to make sure I know how tho style them for exercising

Rachel Johnson: Okay, I have had long hair my whole life and I still can't do a bun as cute as yours. Can you do a short how-to video? :)

Karina Patton: I recently purchased a pair of ZALA clip in hair extensions for my daughters birthday. She had insisted on their brand and so after a bit of research I though they'd be best (especially since their pricing is so reasonable!) I have since bought myself a pair and recommended them to a bunch of my girlfriends. I have been using other brands for years and these are the best value extensions I have come across. Thank you to my daughter and to ZALA!

Chloe Rebecca Lacy: Your hair looks gorgeous Love you Sez! I would love to get tap ins but I have curly hair so I feel it would be a struggle xx

Angelique: I love your channel Sarah! Could you possibly do a video about dieting psychology? I've been exercising and eating clean for over 7 months now, but today I indulged in a lot of sugary foods. I feel like the majority of fitness products out there abuse artificial sweeteners which trigger intense cravings. What are your thoughts on this and what do you do to beat your sugar cravings? P.S. I'd love to train with you one day girl!!!

Ana Sofia Gutierrez: YAY I love your videos your hair looks amazing!! would you recommend me the use of coconut oil even when i dont have hair extensions??

N. Traveler: I never even knew about tape in extentions! They look so comfy too. I once had those hair extensions which they kind of burn to your hair (super bad for your hair obvi) and they pulled on my real hair, which hurt. I was gonna comment: "too bad you didn't touch on the price". But exactly when I thought that, you said it haha. 250 is a bargain for extentions! Great review Sezzy!

Maeve Fitzsimons: This video was so helpful. I'm thinking of getting tape in extensions, how are they for swimming and exercising

Donna Bowen: you would look great with long layers and to the side as well. I had really thin hair when I was blonde I went my natural hair colour and my hair is way healthier and my hair is alot thicker and grows like crazy I have the same colouring as you and brunette suits me

Taylah: Great tips! I got tape extensions yesterday and I will be using these ideas. Thank you Sarah :) xx

emily teffer: I would love to get extensions for fullness but over time I've heard extensions damage your hair and make it even more fine/thin because they weigh them down. Maybe for a little while they're fine but overtime it weakens the hair. Just a thought! They look great though xo

Courtney Britten: Hey sarah, I was just wondering how many pieces you got 40 or 60? x

Bamb Sole: How long does the quality of the extensions last...until you have to buy new ones?

alexia grant: Where do you get your blue and red trainers from? Love your videos. You motivate me to be healthy

beenyouhayley: hi, how much does it cost (roughly) to get them put in and then to have them re-applied ? They look great ! xx

Jayde Rangi: What piece set did u get? Like 40,60 or 80 ?

Steph Miller: You look amazing! And I absolutely love your hair :)

Camille Williams: IM SO HAPPY YOU UPLOADED I WAs LITERALLY WAITING FOR THIS !!!

Lizz Bates: Always enjoy your videos! Keep doing you <3

alexandra woodhead: After taking you're extensions out, did you fined you're hair to be damaged?? Because I'm really tossing up between weather I want them or not due to my hair already being a tad damaged!! xx

IMAGINATIVE MINDS ART STUDIO: love your videos do you still eat protein bread?

Shawna Holmes: I don't even have or want extensions, but I found myself watching this anyways. You are just nice to listen to :) #goodvibes

Jay N: I know this video is pretty old. Do you recommend them after having them long term? How was the keep up etc?

zomome: Can you tell me how many wefts you have in? My stylist always wants to do too many and I like the amount you have in!

Reagan McDermott: You should do a video on different hair styles

Crystal Ann: does it add volume and thickness to your hair?

Amy Tamura: pleaseeee post another video about your herbal concoction you take for pcos acne! I was recently diagnosed with pcos :/

LSgati: You are the best thank you so much!!

lexiie nickole: I just ordered mine

Jamie Ashton: You’re my favorite YouTube right now

Samantha Gibson: loved this video! where is your necklace from? xx

Alyssa Nicole: I bought the clip ins from Zala but I don't know how anyone could wear tape ins permanently because they smell so bad!

Jes: I was wondering if you could put moose in them to scrunch because I do that when I get out of the shower so my hair air dries wavy. Do you think that would work?

Jade Maree: How many pieces did you get?

juliefrlt: Did you try to do your hair wavy ?? I'm sure it'd look sooo pretty on you ! Long fair wavy hair ;)))

Christ Will Return: So how many pieces did you get, and do you have to add glue or anything to the strip or is it already sticky

Dina Kay: Loved this video, I'm from Sydney Australia too YAYY !!! Just subscribed xxoxo

Thrifted Living: I purchased clip extensions years ago that I still use! However they are a bit of a pain! I have super thin hair and I think getting something like this would help improve the volume of my hair! Thanks for sharing, I am going to check them out!

Jackie B: How much does it cost for you to get them moved up every 7-8 weeks??

Vanessa Graff: Buyer beware, the hair will only last about three weeks!!!

AFRODITI TZORTZI: hey gorgeous how many of them did you purchase 40,60? i love your videos!! <3

Melady Melady: what shampoo and conditioner do you use? i love your videos

kayla cudnoski: I came from Cambria Joy and I love you so far:)

Katelynn Robinson: How often do you have to buy new ones? Or can you reuse them?

AngelTM: Can tape in extensions withstand hair pulling if u know what I mean lmao. And how do you take them out/reapply them?

Jade Johnson: I love your rings in this video! Where are they from??

Kaylee Carlson: How much did it cost to get them put in?

Jamie Love: Do you still recommended ZALA tape ins? Over all did u enjoy them?

Racheal Clayton: yay new video!! :)

Blondii S: Just be careful because I have fine hair and I used tape extensions for 6 months. Thought they were great until the tape was ripping my hair when I would get them redone. My hair was thinner than before I had them. They look good until later on. Just a heads up!

Ladyofthewoodsasmr: I wear zala most of the time. What products do u use and do they stay silky after many washes? How long do yours last

Christ Will Return: Is the tape already sticky when you put it between your hair? And when you comb your hair will it comb out?

Amna Al Hawaj: I think your hair looks great and very natural. It doesn't look fake it just looks long and peoole are not use to that. I have long hair and people ask me if I got extensions lol just put some layers in.

Madison Campbell: how many grams of hair did you buy? the 40 piece or 60?

Khai Sawa: What happens to your hair once the tapes are taken out....is a different story. Nothing but damage and thinning hair and bald spots and it takes years to go back to normal. So Clip Ins are definitely the way to go, especially if your hair is thin.

Mai Arts: Where do you get all of your sports bras and leggings? They are so cute and I'm looking for some new workout clothes. I live in the U.S. so I'm not sure if we will have the same stores❤️

Mary Burkhart: Quick question!! You mentioned that a set is $250...how often do you have to replace your "set" of extensions? Like how many times can you move them up every 7-8 weeks before the actual tape part is exhausted and it's time for a new set?? This video was so helpful! I have crazy thin hair and I have tried beaded and clip in extensions hand haven't been too pleased with either. So when I found out you were getting tape in I was so excited to get a review from someone I trusted!!

Sara Luz: I love you

Tayla Olivier: Nek minnit knot an ideal situation after the pools Sez. Dreadful to say goodbye but at least you suit both hair lengths

That.Bat.Head: Is it a real hair? I can use it for long?

Caitlin Frede: Look amazing! Quick question- after the 7-8 weeks, what happens? Do you need to buy new extensions?

Ana Alves: I was wondering if you could put it up on a pony tail

Katrina Kaye: I want to get them but I'm a flight attendant and have to put my hair up all the time for the job, so scared it would ruin them?

Claudia: Hey, I saw you in the Apple shop in Miranda Westfield's today! You were comparing the quality of two iPhones and I could see myself looking at you through the screen

Ayva Moore: I'm desperate for extensions love you sez

Jennifer Boehm: I liked your instagram photo where you wore your hair curly - very pretty
