How I Add Hair Extensions To My Super Short Pixie Cut!!!

I have been playing around with extensions and wigs for a few years now. I love adding them when I want some length even though my hair is SUPER short!!!
Hi guys welcome back to my channel today's video is actually going to be about my pixie cut extension. I wanted to do a video for a really long time on pixie cut extensions. When I was looking for hair extensions for really short haircuts, I could not find a lot of videos out there, and so I have been dying to do a video about these for a really long time. Um, full disclosure - I am NOT a stylist at all, I'm not licensed. I just am an experimenter. I love to experiment on my hair. I love to experiment with makeup and I learn stuff by trial and error, so take it for what she well but anyways. Let'S get started so first of all the extensions that I use I get from a full left. So what a weft is, is it's just a long thing of hair because it is but imagine this like 4 feet long and that's or maybe 3 feet on, but that's what a weft is, and so I take them and I cut them this one. I messed up on, I dipped it in purple and became out where anyways so I use those and I cut them. You can use tape and extensions. That'S what I use last time and I will insert a picture here with my tape and extensions. Sorry I keep wanting to look at the viewfinder, I'm sorry, okay. So this is a tape and extension and this one is actually broken, but it's. This is two pieces and they tape together. So just that um hair, your hair, goes between the two pieces. So that's how these work now, how I use mine is I these clips these little clips. You can get them at Sally's or any beauty. Supply store, sells them and I glue them. You can sew them that I glue them on to the West that I cut up and then I clip them in my hair and how I clip them is I'm sure you can see. I take a piece of hair and i pull it up. I parted. It'S very handy to have a rat tail comb and you part it and pull it up and put this down now. I wouldn't have been able to do this when my hair was any shorter than this, because unfortunately um with these types of extensions, you can see the clips more easily with the tape ins, it's a little easier to hide them, so I definitely recommend um if you're Gon na do it in your hair is any shorter than this, and this is how short my hair is on this side, and so I would recommend doing tape pins unless your hair is longer. So it's all temporary, so I'm gon na take them out I'm and show you guys what it looks like, but I will show you what it looks like right now: Wow it's in. I think I have three or four of them in sorry. I hairspray look like crunched, but this is them in didn't see where they're at you can't really tell I mean you can, but I'm literally like four inches away from the camera right now, and so you know, if you're, just walking and talking to somebody you're, not Necessarily going to be able to tell it that you have these extensions, then right, so let me show you how short my hair is. I can get them out without, like so there's 100 like stuck with those big eyes, and then let's do two. So the second one I have right here - kind of doing this in Reverse, instead of showing you how to put them in showing you how to take him out, you can see where I had them three. I had my back here and I might have no more. After this or that's it and then back to my pixie, I know I've been totally looking at me. If I do the whole time, I'm sorry I'm using it as a mirror. So that's why I'm sorry sorry guys, I'm not that mean I promise and so yeah. So this is what they look like, I put them in and then I cut them how I wanted them and I'm not. You know, like I said, I'm not as professional and I just kept with these tiny little scissors, because it's really thin hair and then I also have this handy dandy, hair, thinner that I use to kind of thin things out and so what that's it. And then we just heat style, it is a hundred percent human hair and I wouldn't try it with synthetic, because I think that it wouldn't look as real and when you're dealing with super short hair, you just have to shake it as real as you can get. You know, because you want to make sure that you can match it and that's. The other thing is that I believe that, like the tape ends - and these both came in like sixty like it with the number sixty or six thirteen one of the two - and I just toned it with um with Wella T 18 um toner, and then I used Purple shampoo on it as well and so they're pretty similar. I mean these. These are a little bit lighter than these are, but I mean that's okay, because my hair has different colors in that too, and so it'll kind of mesh us together so anyways. I hope that was helpful for you guys. It'S really simple. I mean I feel, like my whole purpose in doing these videos is, should just encourage you guys to experiment and do different things, because life is so short, and you know I know I hear people all the time say I could never do that. I could never, but I mean just: do it just try it. We only have one life and we have such a short amount of time. Why not just try it at MC and if you fail, you feel so wet it's just your hair. It will grow back. It'S just makeup: it will wash off. You know like just try, it have fun, be you be unique and that's it so anyways. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Elaine Cochrane: yeah,i used to do that in my 30s..my hair fell out in clumps due to extreme stress and started clipping small bits in after i styled it into a more or less pixie cut was like yours BUT,,i do think you should try cutting the extensions a bit better because they look,,not so good at the ends,,maybe try point cutting the ends,NOW as my hair hasnt grown in ive been earing wigs for over past 10 years now..lace front obv but want my hair back but its not grew in along my hairline so i might clip in small extensions again..Too much hard work with my wigs.Been making wigs over 10 years too..ssaved a tonne of money. oh the memories,,,try cutting them a bit better doll there are loads of tutorials to show you how. xx

I've been told that leave in extensions wont work with my hair, because of the damage. I really regret bleaching it. And I had it done by a stylist. It got over processed. I've dyed it back to dark.
