I have a confession: Oh terrorism, right now, and the reason why I wear hair extensions is that I actually have a fair and I've always had thin hair. But then, when I switched over to the fusion hair extensions about five years ago, I lost even more hair and I was devastated and I stopped wearing hair extensions for a very long time. robkim38: What about blow drying? I wash and blow dry my hair every day and when I had glue in extensions this is what pulled my fine hair out by the roots and I lost so much hair because of it. I'm very cautious because I feel the same thing could happen with these tape ins because you are still pulling at your hair with a brush when you blow dry. What would be the difference? The fact that they're lighter and attached to a wider area of hair as opposed to glue ins?
Lyndsey Denton: Ive had very fine hair all my life, however my stylist always said even though it was fine, I had allot of it. About two years ago now I paid $1500 to have micro ring extensions put it, about 200 of them, they were just falling out all over the place and I freaked out. Ended up having to go to a different stylist who took them out, my hair was... terrible.. and she put in another $1500 set of fusion extensions. And after having those removed, I had no hair left. Bald spots, it went from being bra strap length to my shoulders and that's when I decided I was done paying someone else to mess up my head. I bought some nano bead extensions and they haven't made things worse but not been better either. Ive always take very good care of all my extensions. Every girl that grew up with thin hair, knows how important it is to care for it. It's time for these to come out, and my question is, because ive been really looking at your tapes and found this video, should I try them, or am I at a point of needing a wig? I have hardly no hair in the back, while my top is still healthy.
