How do you choose your hair extension length?
In this video Sam shows you how to choose your hair extension length. Choosing your length is important when deciding on the perfect extensions for you.
Using a measuring tape, it is best to first measure your own hair and then decide on how much length you would like to add. For instance, if your length is 12" and you would like to add 6", you will need 18 inch extensions. Because we are all different heights, it is best to use your measuring tape to see wear the hair extensions will fall on you. This way you will be happy with the extensions when they arrive at your door.

Hi everyone - this is Samantha from instant Beauty, hair extensions in this video. I'M going to help you choose your hair extension length, it's important when buying extensions, to determine what you want. The end result to be. Are you looking to add length volume or both before you decide on an extension length? You need to think about your own length of hair. The best way to do this is to actually measure your own hair. We use our ears as a guide, because that is where our extensions will most likely lie, place the measuring tape about one inch above your ear and then measure your length once you've done this now you can calculate how many inches you want to add. For example, if your hair is 13 inches long and you're looking to add about five inches in length, then you would need extensions that are 18 inches long. Instant Beauty sells three lengths of hair extensions, 14 inch, 18 inch and 22 inch lengths. This is an example of 14 inch length. 14 inch is great for people who just want to add volume or for people who have a short haircut and it will blend in very nicely I'll. Just show you what the full length is keep in mind. I am wearing 18 inch length, so this is the difference. 18 inch length is our bestseller. It will add significant amount of length and will blend in with most haircuts. I am wearing 18 inch length, but I wanted to show you an example. This is how the 18 inch length falls if you're looking for a dramatic change, then 22 inch is the way to go. This is an example of 22 inch length. As you can see, it adds quite a bit of length. This is the 18 inch length and then this is the 22 inch length as you've seen. There is a big difference between the three lengths. You should keep in mind that we are all different heights, so when buying extensions, you really do need to measure your own hair first and then calculate the length that you need. It is best to use a measuring tape to measure exactly where the extensions will fall on you this way when they arrive in the mill. You will be happy with your order. If you aren't choosing instant Beauty, hair extensions, it might be a good idea to purchase a length that is slightly longer than what you need this way. If you had need to trim the ends a little bit, you can do that. You can always bring your new extensions into your hair salon and get them cut and styled into your own hair. This way you will achieve the most natural look if you are looking to curl your hair with a curling wand or a curling iron. It'S best to purchase extensions that are at least 2 inches longer than your desired result. Just remember to choose a length that you're comfortable with extensions are great for adding a subtle change, a dramatic change or everything in between. Instead of buying one length and then cutting it, would it be better to buy two different lengths say 16" and 18" and layer that way?? My top layer that stands out the most is about 14".
