Hair Extensions - Tape Extensions - Zen Hair Extensions - Best Tape Extensions

This is a top hack for you guys and oh no hi dreamboats welcome back so today i thought: let's talk hair and i have done a couple of videos. I did one on olaplex and my hair is in much better condition l'oreal, but it is never going to be as thick as i want it to be rip me, but i love tape. Extensions. I'Ve tried all the extensions known to man and, if you've got fine hair. Like me, tape extensions are the best. They are probably the most gentle and they're very thin. They lay flat they're, probably the most concealable i don't like microbonds or like nanos, or anything with a ring, because it feels like you've got bugs in your hair and, like you go through your hair and it feels like little bits of like plastic or metal. I don't like that, so i have tape. Extensions and i've had a few different brands and i have settled on one that i really like, and so this is a video really because i don't like paying because i'm really tight. I don't like paying like five. Six hundred pound for hair extensions - that's just not me, and i am a big believer if you can get something for as low a cost as possible and you're happy with it. Then let's do that honestly right, so i bought this jumper the other day from uniqlo. It'S one of the best jumpers. I think i've owned it's like a waffle material. It'S a dream. It was like nine pound 90 in the sale and they had hundreds of them. It'S lovely, i'm gon na get it in more colors. It'S really good quality. So i'm just i'm just feeling feeling the quality of my purchase so back to hair. So i have tried beauty works. I'Ve tried loads of different ones. I can't even remember all of the names but um my previous hairdressers used to use zen, hair and i'd never heard of them. Their logo is like this. If you can see it - and i thought yeah do you know what this is fairly good quality for the price? Um everyone raves about beauty works. I'Ve had beauty works, i haven't had beauty works, tapes, but i've had beauty, works, hair extensions like nano wings and i didn't rate them. They were fine, but i thought they were going to be like silk and last for like a year. They didn't and i'm very careful with my hair extensions so and they got dry as quickly and they just they lasted the same amount of time as the zen ones. So i just thought: why am i paying a premium when it's not going they're not going to last any longer um? I think the the slightly better where they like excel is their color range when you've got blonde hair, so they have got a lot more colors. In beauty works for blonde hair, which is why probably all the white blonde girls love them um because of the shade range, because predominantly like previously, you used to get. There was like really poor shades um back in the old day. People have progressed, but i think beauty works has probably got some of the best shades, but it's insane the amount that they charge so and then you buy your hair and then you still have to pay for fitting. So it's just a lot, so i just thought i'll give a quick rundown of how i pay for my tapes um, where i get them from because i've this is like i've. This is the cheapest way. I can do them for like fairly good quality, hair or really good quality hair, because i get to a point. I don't like to string out my hair extensions i like to as soon as they feel a bit dry, um or like because once your hair extensions get a bit dry or matted, it makes your hair feel more matted, and i just don't like that feeling. So as soon as i get to a point where i'm like, oh do you know what they need to come out. Really, i think after two two, what good wears of them. I like to get new extensions. So that's why i don't like to eat out really expensive, hair extensions. So then hair, i have got a trade account, but anybody can get a trade account. So this is a top hack for you guys. So if you buy a coloring, so when you um choose hair extensions, you get them off a coloring, and so this is the coloring. So i, if you buy a coloring from zen hair, you automatically get a trade account. You can't get a trade account without this, and obviously you need this to color match your hair so once you've bought it, you've got it, and that's really great. So then, once you've had your hair dyed, like obviously you've got colors that you're never going to use. Like i'm never going to have pink or blue hair, that's just not my vibe, but the blonde shade ranges are lovely and then you can match the color match them. Obviously this is not my color, but this is an example. You color match your hair and then you go back online and you select what length you want and what shades you want, because they're numbered in each shade and so like each color has its own number and so, like they've, got a lot of shades um. So this was 30 pound. You automatically get a trade account, but then once you've got a trade account, you don't pay that. So it's like 20 cheaper. You can just order off that. If you know what color you are in zen and a lot of the colors are universal, like 27613, is like more of a universal shade um, but then they do have some like more unique numbers which are specific to this company and a lot of companies do That so you you can, you don't have to have this, but then you wouldn't have a trade account. You can just buy them and then it's slightly more expensive. So i always, i would recommend getting a coloring and then you can. You always know exactly what shader is and i'm very conscious of having exactly the right, shader extensions. I don't like it to be really obvious that i'm wearing somebody else's hair. So i really like zen hair. I think they've got good. Shade ranges um. You order your hair and then, and they do two like tears of hair. The the more basic range is called the. I think it's the gold one, which is the ultimate series. Yes, it is it's the ultimate series and it comes in a gold box and oh no. The hair is in like a little pot, it's quite cute, so it comes like this and then the tear up from that is the luxury series look for a little luxury. So um and again they come in a pot. Now i have had the tear down when i had shorter hair and a ginger hair, and i had 14 inch extensions now. This is one of the only places. I know that did 14 inch tapes because i didn't want to spend extra money the longer you go, the more expensive they are, so i didn't want to pay for 18 inch extensions and then cut four inches off. I was like that's ridiculous, so i was really pleased when they did 14 inch extensions, but you didn't get them in the more superior hair range. However, saying that they were absolutely fine and they lasted me, so i don't really know what the difference is. I certainly didn't think there was a difference now, i'm having my extensions put in on thursday and the colors that i matched with um are number 18 and color 22. P1422. Now the p1422 was actually when i got my trade account. They sent me an additional ring and i thought these were their new colors and i was like oh lovely because there's some lovely colors in here, but when i went online i think these are discounted. I think they're getting rid of them, because i had to get my p1422 in the slightly the tear down range but feeling the hair. It feels fine, so i'm not that fast um. These were about now. If i'd have paid full price for this color, it was obviously a premium color and i don't know if it didn't sell, but i might buy some additional because it feels lovely. This is what they feel they look like. They look weird. My husband thinks it's gross. I wear someone else's hair but - and i like zen hair, because it's like thick all the way down to the bottom. That'S what is a good you used to get ratty, hair extensions and they'd be okay here and then you go you'd, get thinner and cinnamon thinner and then you'd have like wispy ends. So i really love this um so yeah. So i think the the range i got the p 1422 was discounted because it was something like meant to be like 90 pound for the pack, and i got it for something like 60, so it was on sale, which i think it's clearance. So i might actually because i love the color i might stock up, but i don't know it's hard. I sort of had a different hair color recently, so i always think it's quite hard to replicate when you you're blonde, but i do really love this color. So i might stock up so it comes like this and you get 20 individual pieces and that's obviously 10 pairs, because you peel one tape off you attach it to like a sliver of hair and you put the other tape on and you seal it and so You'Ve got one piece of extension, so you get 20 pieces and that's 10 pairs. So that's that color! I only have two packs. I can't really have more than two packs of hair extensions. I could probably have two and a half packs max um, because my hair's so fine that you and i've got like a little pin head like a tiny pinhead. So there's just not enough head to put the extensions in you run out of space and when you've got fine hair. When you go like that, you, like all your hair moves, you don't want to see loads of extensions, so this is the other color. This is the color 18, so you can tell like when they're all mixed together. This is a mix um color. So it's two colors on in the hair. That'S already been like weaved together, and this is just like a block color but they'll be spaced out throughout my hair to achieve my shade range, so really lovely colors. I love the smell of new hair. Isn'T that creepy? It'S like the creepy thin man from charlie's angels. I love that my husband smelled them the other day. He was like that stings. I was like hair such a creep, but love them. So i'm having this put into my hair on thursday and i don't really have it for length i used to, but now i have it for thickness, because i am never going to have thick hair, but it will just - and i don't really want it much longer. I'Ll probably have a couple like a little bit cut off or like feathered in um, it's just really for thickness and when you curl your hair, it lasts much longer so that the curl lasts much longer so trade account and zen hair is honestly. It'S really. This isn't sponsored, i shall i mean who's sponsoring me, but it's not it's um. I recommended it to people. My friends are hairdressers. She has used it before she rates it. My actual hairdresser felt my last set and she was like this is really nice hair, where what is it and she'd never heard of them, and she said well, actually not everyone wants to pay for beauty work, so we might use this as well in salon as, Like the second tier extension, which is what my other hairdressers did, um, because some people i mean i can, i could stretch to beauty, works extension prices, but i don't want to pay them for hair, so um for, like 60 pound a tub. For me, it's 120 pound, usually 120 130 pounds roughly for the hair plus 40 pound 50 pound. Something like that for fitting that's the most. I want to pay because i've already paid 100 and whatever last time it was really expensive for my hair color. So you're already paying like 400 pounds all in i don't want to pay 500 pounds for extensions and 150 pound for color, because, where i live, the salons are really expensive. So um yeah there's like a limit. I wan na pay for hair extensions, but tapes are excellent. I really recommend them, especially if you've got fine hair um or you want it just more natural. I could never have. I have had weaves before they've sewed them into your scalp, but as soon as it starts to grow out it like sags, and you can see it, it's not good, whereas these they grow up fairly naturally, and they stay flat to your head. So it's fine. I also take these out myself. I don't pay to have them taken out. Can you tell i'm cheap? I always say these things. I think god people must think i'm really tight, but i'm not i just like to conserve my pennies. You know so i really recommend it um, you get a code once you open a trade account to put in as like a promo code. Each time, which means you've got a trade account, so it just deducts the like 20 off of your total bill and they do like um offers. For the month of april, they had um free delivery, which was nice, because i think it was like seven pound. Last time - and i was like oh right in the heart - i hate expensive delivery, but it comes really quickly. It came in like two days, so i really rate them. I really like zen. Let me know, but it's a good hair extension option, considering you get like the trade as well, because you can buy extensions from other places, but sometimes they're, like 100 pound a pack, and you think. Oh that's a lot of money, whereas 68 65. Something like that. It'S not that bad um. The shade range is amazing, really really nice and especially, if you're blonde as well there's a good option so yeah, i hope, that's helpful. I love my extensions um one of someone on instagram the other day she was like. Oh, i've never used extensions, but i want to thicken up my hair and i was like honestly tape's the way to go. So if you don't want um, if you want something more permanent than clippings, but you don't want to look like ridiculous and you want them like quite gentle they're a really good option and like for your wedding and stuff.
